Root program for 2.3.4 JVP - Galaxy S I9000 Android Development

just wanna ask is there any root program for 2.3.4 JVP stock gingerbread rom? thansk

man ... what the **** so much illiterate people ?
maybe you try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=748
searching fails too, right ?
maybe this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 ?

This is the wrong section- this section is strictly for development. Please post under Q&A.
Root for 2.3.4 is easy to obtain, but it requires you to flash a kernel. I suggest the latest CF-Root by Chainfire. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12651359&postcount=6

i'd suggest using ramads deodexed jvp (comes with superuser)
then flash with hardcores speedmod kernel K15H-T8
im running this now and phone is super fast and very stable

this is the link to the site if u want
http://www.samfirmware.com/WEBPROTECT-i9000.htm
Thanks
Finally they released it..for now I don't care about it, because I am using custom roms, but I am very happy that samsung customer support finally were right when they told me check with us for ginger bread with full arabic support at the end of May
guess we'll be seeing some more arabic support from our custom roms like swype, keyboard, a fix for the connecting letters and the right to left problem
how to root this ?
CF-Root should do the job...
Hopefully it will be used as a custom ROM base, It would be great.
Thanks for the link.
I have used it and it is working fine. Thanks sharing.
I wonder which Kernel could we use with this?....

Or just about any GB custom kernel like SpeedMOD, FuguMOD, etc. should do the job...
to root it i need the pit file and the link for samfrimware is not valid
anyways it was fun reading this thread ^_^
one thing about this root and root and keep rooting
at first i want to say , the last version of full samsung's version arabic support is JPJVC Android 2.3.4 .
This is the thread ....
[ROM] i9000JPJVC 2.3.4 - JPJVC oJPJV7 JXJV6 © 2011-09-15 Kies (CL577553)
2011 November 2.3.4 I9000JPJVC I9000OJPJV7
---------------------------------------------------------
Download Link : I9000JPJVC

For Rooting you can install the CF-Root JVU or earlier versions.
CF root Kernel thread
Use V3.3 [ JVZ or Older]. i recommend this one :CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVT-v4.3-CWM3RFS.zip
you can use semaphore kernels with 2.5.x versions.

i'm afraid i made a mistake and brick my sgy
can you give me screenshot tutorial sir? i'm newbie here
i don't think terma kernel will solve your problem,
i've tried since the first time dxlc1 realesed, it didn't boot and you cannot access the recovery, so you must flash again using odin.
but if you wanna try, just give it a try, thanx
Just use link2sd[Root required]
If you are only concerned on moving apps to sdcard
It's lot easier...

Have u rooted ur rom? if u manually deodex ur rom now, u might not be fully deodex all apps. I would recommend u to flash a custom ROM for simplicity. All the custom ROM here are deodexed.

Sure you can.....revert I mean!!
As a matter of fact, you can revert to exactly what you have at this moment in time.
Have you got ClockworkMod Recovery....
if not, you must install.
When you have CWM.. you just got to make a Nandroid Backup...which is a complete copy/image of your current setup.
This can be restored at any time, bringing your device back to what is your current setup!!!

My friend, I don't know where you get the idea that there is no good rom
How do you come to that conclusion???
Please tell us, as you are obviously an expert!!!
What are your conclusions, having flashed numerous ROM's?? no doubt.....
You should be careful how you phrase what you say.....
you probably mean no offence....
but you have just offended the entire Voluntary Developer Community for this device.....
as in guys/gals working for us for no money,
think again!!!!

[q] ics rom t989

I looked up at the Android Development fourm but I got a little confused
Right now my SGS2 T989 is with T-mobie's Rom which sucks.
I would like a easy explanation how to update it to ICS rom with RTL fix (Im from israel so I need hebrew to work on this device, RTL)
Probbally You will just say Im a jackass and tell me to go and look for guide but since its not my mother-langugh I would like you to give me a guide that will surlly work..
Try tdjs
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
U need to root your phone first the development fourm have sticky with detailed instructions. Then flash your favorite rom keep in mind these ics rom are based on leaks they will be buggy I recommend darkside rom. I don't know of any hebrow instructions but if you wrote this thread then u can figure it out. Good luck. And try to post this in the Q& A former u will have a better luck

Ok, we get it. Your a TDJ fanboy, noone cares. Now for your question OP, this is the guide I used when i rooted/flashed for the first time. It's made for the T989D (telus) version of the phone but also has instructions for the T989 as well. Give it a try.
http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...d-ultimate-root-optimization-guide-steps.html
Use this to root:
Here
Use this to install a ROM:
Here
Both have Step by Step instructions with a video to help.
I don't why people always say they need to root first, it's BS.
All you do is use odin to flash CWM. No need to flash SU if you are gonna flash a custom rom. I just think people don't know what rooting means or does.
All you need is a custom recovery like CWM, then flash a rom.
If you are staying stock sure, flash cwm and then SU to root it.
Please don't confuse the OP. I mean sure he can do what you said, but rooting first is a sort of standard that everyone follows.

thank you bro
one more thing
is this rom compatible with my lt18a and is it better than the stcok android 4
i dont have an idea of the rom u have linked up, but if you want any recommended rom in XDA dev section go for JJ hybrid or Xperia pureness rom or jelly sandwich its becuase its supported here and you can find all support you need int respective rom threads.
speaking of diffrences from your stock rom these are higly tweaked more fast and stable roms . just go through the OP of each rom for thier features and you will know what im saying.
and if your bootloader is unlocked use LUpus or Archnight kernels with these roms to tweak battery and performance or ur arc s.
:good:

Mooded rom is a bit old... and there is no support, cause the developer is currently banned from xda.
