I'm trying to set a custom ringtone for the default ring on my phone but no matter what I do it doesn't work. Anyone see this happening with their phone?
Fixed: I did a factory reset to remove anything I did via temp-root and that fixed it.

I was on 2.1 stock, did the leaked ota and then the 2.2 leak. Everything is working great but I've noticed vibrate is not working for notifications. It seems to work for haptic feedback and on calls BUT apps like gmail/messages/chompsms/others don't vibrate at all even if it's enabled.
What the hell do I do? Any ideas?!??!

I've confirmed this issue occurs after a reboot even after a wipe and reset. I didnt install any apps and I'm on radio 2.0. Everything else appeared to work but I need working vibrate. Hope someone has a fix.
Download Sound Manager from the market. Go into the vibrate settings and check vibrate whenever possible in both places. Vibrate should work again and you can uninstall the program.
I'm having the exact same issue (except i'm using handcent)
Downloading sound manager did not work - all settings were already set to vibrate whenever possible
I have rooted my G2 and have S-OFF so I decided to remove the excess apps that shipped with it and I believe i have borked the Quick Keys process somehow. I tried to look into the G2 dump to see if there was an .apk I was missing but I can't see anything that I don't already have.
Basically, everytime I click on the quick keys setting it gives me a FC for process com.tmobile.userkeystool
anyone know what i need to put back in to get this working again? i really don't want to wipe and reflash
Same Problem
I am also having the same problem on my phone, I am thinking it has to do with removing the t-mobile apps like my account. At the end of the day I am not sure.
I'm having the same problem. Did you find a fix? I perm rooted with visionary and removed the my tmobile app. I thought a factory reset would putt back all the apps but it doesn't reinstall all the apps I removed after root. I'm still on stock rom never flashed anything else.
im having the same issues with the quick keys. can anyone else help fix this problem please???? thanks

Help need
I did every thing, wipe cache, factory reset, format system and Flash beta4 package again but still have no vibration on SMS/notifications. I also install Sound Master app, and all options checked to Vibrate/When possible, but no vibration. Anyone can help, much appreciated
Since flashing the new JB MIUI, I have been unable to change to notification tone to a custom one.
Searching I came up with putting the file I want into the system notification tone bin, which didn't work.
Also saw somebody said the owner had no permissions, I am unaware on how to give the owner permissions.
When putting the tone in the system media notification bin , I get a tone unselected. I tried selecting the tone in theme manger mix and that didn't do anything either.

Yeah I went to put the custom files into the system, and it said I didn't have access. Flipped out at first, having a custom ROM w/o system rights. Might have to do with the root access setting (in settings) gonna mess around with it. I have a different phone (HTC One X, but the solution should be similar) For facebook messages and emails, custom works. But no matter what I do, I can't get sms noise to change. Still gonna try out a few more things I'll let you know if I figure something out.
Ok, so CM11 has got a setting to enable 16-bit transparency. Fool me tried to use it... Now I've got weird graphics. Even after factory reset, flash new recovery, restore boot in TWRP, flash new rom. I tried searching the CM sources for 'transparency' but could not find it. Anyone knows how to disable this? The menu option does only work for *enabling* it...
