hey guys im using MIUI rom and trying to get this theme

and i downloaded the icon pack from the OP and i hold the icon i want to change and click change icon then custom icon so i can go into my sd card but its not showing any zip files so i can't change it.
Any idea's?
You will have to unzip the file and extract the icons and dock onto your SD card.

thanks that helped but everytime i find the file i want and set it Launcher Pro keeps force closing.

I had that problem one time too. I had to uninstall and reinstall launcher pro. Also I've noticed sometimes LP doesn't play well with quickpic. If you're using a 3rd party app to select the icon use the gallery app that came with your rom.

i'm not using no 3rd party apps. i go to SD card instead of gallery.
nevermind i got it to work.
i picked the file from gallery instead of SD card and it worked.

I really don't like the new messaging application... can I just copy over the stock one from my HTC Desire (Oxygen ROM), or get more themes for the new one?
I 2nd this. It looks.. well a bit crap doesn't it?
I'm not rooted so I guess I can't replace it, but adding a bit of eye candy would make it look a lot better.
I'm rooted and I just copied over the application and it works great. The only minor issue is that when you press the menu button the new message icon is a random one, but it still works.

Simply install "Go SMS Pro" from the market & just use it as your default messaging app{turned off notifications in the pre installed messaging app}--

I'm going to try this now. Just downloading the sys dump of the sgs2 to get the stock app in case its a bit of a flop
Couldn't install either of the .apk's - do i need to push them through adb?
It was released maybe a couple hours ago. I'm running it now and its pretty cool.

Installed on Stock HK3 (odexed) everything if fine, but SMS, attempt to start SMS received error "Not supported"

Tried to install on milestone with Froyomod2.9.3, but did not work well. even settings were missing only two buttons shown with no description.... seems still under developement.... Even kept on forceclosing and golauncher appears from behind continuously. uninstalled finally after some trial.
GoLauncherEX works fine now...
Can't even let into app drawer to even begin,it just force closes!
Good as it removes notification bar and gives the real estate of whole screen. But menu option should ve been better customizable.
1) - But it also lacks honeycomb style google search widget and
2) menu option(written "Apps" in right upper corner)
Plz include these two things in update, and
3)multitasking - if possible include nokia n9 like application switching (swipe) or webOS's card like multitasking

icons keep getting stuck on the side and i dont know how to delete them unless i uninstall the app .. is there a easier way to do this? thanks
if u look to the top right of the picture... the icon Games and Phone are stuck on the side of the page and i cant even select them!!

i am using touchwiz i believe ...
Figured out a easier way to get rid of them ...i just delete the page and re add everything back.
What calendar widget is that? Its not the stock is it? Trying to get it on CM7

Why is it that when i go to widgets then calendar i get a totaly different wodget and not that one? Dont think its available for cm7. Only the stock rom huh

can anyone help me. I'm changing up my stock touchwiz launcher and I can not for the life of me find the app drawer icon PNG anywhere. Where in the system files is it? Its the last icon I need to change

It's definitely in the launcher.apk when I was using the TW launcher I changed it. I just forget where exactly it is but I know for sure it's in there
OK so I found the files. They are located in the system/app/secLauncher2.apk/res/drawable-xhdbi
They are called
Ic_allapps.png
Ic_allapps_pressed.png
OK so me like a dummy forgot to copy them before I changed them and I messed something up. Anyone out there feel like sending me the default png?

So I have been running free gs3 for a few weeks now....today, not sure what I did, but I noticed the app icon on TW launcher moved one space to the left (4th spot from left) and I my folder group was in the 5th spot. I started messing with moving icons around and got the app icon to move to the middle, where I loved it being. Thinking this was awesome I did a TB backup and TWRP backup. After reboot, the stupid appnicon is back in the 5th spot and I cannot replicate what happened. Ideas?

Sounds like cache. Clear cache in tw. Reboot. You can try clear data but make sure you have a bakup just in case.

No luck...tried cachemate app to clear cache from apps and then try to move the icon, nada....tried to clear cache/dalvik from recovery and reboot then try the move, nada. Tried to clear app data and then restore the TW backup I made on TB today we the icon moved, nada. Thanks for the suggestion though. I guess it was a glitch but I really want to replicate it.

Download a 3rd party launcher like nova or apex. You can moved them around all you want. Plus a lot of other neat things.
