hey guys i aint the developer for this Mod. This was pointed out to me by boloj. thanks to him that
it's originally done by SNQ for Desire. And it was Modified by Jack_r1 for My touch 4G. here is a link to his thread.
Please use extreme caution and back up everything before you apply this mod.
For me it works on Ginger sense leak Rom rooted and untouched version posted by rmk.and it ideally should work on all other ginger sense roms based on that 2.30.405.1 rom.
and im just making a thead over here at Desire Z section as most ppl who really liked this feature dont know of its existence on gingerbread sense roms

This is (I think) the mod I used in TrollogenMODS. Back when people used it...
Although I had it before this thread was posted. But yes, it does work.
Check its installing OK, then reboot, make sure you ain't editing keys with ButtonRemapper or something, then say it doesn't work.

that must be true ... i found this mod after going bannanas searching for it ... than a very nice guy pointed me to it it was given a link deep inside a rom discussion thread . i just posted it outside as a separate thread so that its a bit more visible for ppl like me

ok so i got it set-up and if you want to try it and someone can show me or host the files for me im willing to share but so far its great call volume is drum breaking now please note all i have is the config file for sprint and i know vz's is different but i can tell you how to get it

couldnt honestly answer it but no it doesnt need any other android project no gps wont work i read in the other post something about legacy but i dont see why it wouldnt run on t-mobile

GPS should work. Thats kernel controlled, not OS controlled.... works on all of my builds 2.0.1 - 2.2

Should also mention in the link for the Rhodium that got added to our thread that HW3D, BT, and Sound are not working for Rhodium. This will confuse people. lol

Did you even try it...? Or read about it...?
I think BT is in the same state as all the other builds... I'm going to make a wild assumption and say that camera, wifi and charging are as well.
But, give it a whirl and let the OP know how it went. Obviously the camera is not going to work and BT will probably pair but not work either.

Eventually I will, I just have 2 other builds im testing and a 3rd one will fill my plate to the point I wont be able to test any! :O But yeah, looks promising, considering my phone has alaways booted, never had flashing issues or android boot issues...maybe you're right and it "sorta" works, because I have Wifi working on xdandroid froyo 2.2 and a lot of people don't...

Everyone else has wifi working too... unless you are using WEP. VERY rarely some of the T-Mobile tp2s don't work, but for the most part you're not special.

Hey guys this is the Desire hd/HTC Ace ginger bread leak Port, so far the only difference between this rom, and the hushan leak is the app drawer, you can see the difference in the screenshots. And it also has like 2 or 3 diferent widgets/apps. Anyways lets get to whats working and whats not. Btw People tell me this rom is quite Fast.

Known Issue:
When you long press at home screen rosie might crash, it happens at random, don't worry it still works fine just try again.

ye i was reluctant to release it, since its basically sense ginger from homersp(the differences are in the introduction), plus i had some issues with someone over at the glacier dev section. but now hes banned, so i decided to repost my ports over at xda again. this rom has been out for 2 days now.

i agree with you haha. im flashing different roms every day!
when changing the settings for UPDATES for sense, etc...it just reverts back to 1 hour.
also is it possible to change mms size to 3000 like on virtuous?

Is it safe to assume that the virtuous kernels will not work on this?
this is the second sense that ive flashed today and i would say that this is the #bawse of them all. What really sold me hands down was the noti curtain. recent apps AND quick settings? not to mention the diff widgets that ive not seen on other sense roms. like the flip clock with friends update instead of weather and the other new ones i havent seen yet. 0_o found my new daily driver !

Few things to report...
GPS works great (tested using GPS Test from market)
Shutter sound on camera is still on even when not checked
Had to restore my apns and reboot to get data going.

Well I seen a thread in the general section talking about the posssibility of Android 3.0 or Honeycomb for Hero. I decided to have a go at porting a Magic HC ROM and so here it is. It works okay, can be sluggish at times but it's really only a proof of concept but if there's enough interest I'll consider improving it to try and get everything working. This ROM is really a joint effort between me and Ybinnenweg, he's helped me develop every rom i've ever built so far so we may as well stick together .

I can't post screens atm, as I use my phone for work and can't use a ROM that has limited functionality for a while, I'll try get something up later. The speed is okay, it's not great but it's using fly-kernel12a, not tried using LV with it so i'm not sure if that will improve the speed. Test it out for me, any feedback is much appreciated

Thats true, don't think he ever posted on here though. I think it was more out of interest that he done it rather than a official ROM.

Probably, I'm having a look at that just now actually, the magic rom has sms working so we should be able to get that fixed aswell

I have been trying all day and still not able to get the downanimation to work.
EDIT: this guy claims to have the process to make it work, although I have tried and am still not able to get my downanimation to work.

its generally just one edit in bools.xml in the framework-res (at least it is on other phones)
Yea this is really unfortunately HTC left off the Gingerbread lock screen animation. It's my favorite thing about Gingerbread besides the performance tweaks (smooth scrolling).
What they SHOULD have done under "Skins" is have a pure Gingerbread skin that includes this animation, that would have been excellent.
There doesn't seem to be any known way to enable this either

well the normal edit doesnt work
its been done on the tbolt (havent checked over dinc2 sense roms) might need sense 3.0 though...i havent really spent much time looking though

Because I have not gotten over 10 post limit I can't ask there but does anyone else know where I can get the rom?
Also, you can give me some comments about the rom If it's worth trying out...

The Doubleshot is my favorite Sense ROM. I just love the launch bar. Unfortunately, it doesn't run so smoothly, it quickly became obvious to me that it was intended for a phone with more RAM. If that wasn't the case I would probably be running it still.
Also, the kernel is not compatible with the swap script so that won't help.
There is a thread in the DHD forums with some visual mods but I believe the download links are dead.

Yeah, the rom is not lag free but i didn't find it exceptional laggy. I've tried manualy add the ultra-smooth rosie to this one which reduced the lag but some times when you go to the landscape mode you can't press any shortcuts or widgets... An update with fixed ultra-smooth rosie would make the rom perfect i think.
As for the theme, the download link is dead as said. Does anybody got a copy that? The maker of that one has lost the files for it and therefore he can't reupload it
