Are there any ports of the Epic's camera app?
Why would u want one. The stock one is just fine.
They probably have a different phone.
I do have a different phone.
I want a port for the cartoon effect of the Epic's camera app.

Then you're going to have to get whatever devs are in the echo forums to develop it. If there are any....
There is no Echo forum. Probably no development either. Only thing we have is root.
I have a system dump but I doubt anyone has actually used it for anything. There's not even a Clockwork Recovery.
If I did know anything (or could learn) about the Android OS, I would be working day and night on it.

IIRC, th camera is tied into our touchwiz framework, which is Samsung's GUI system. The stock camera, music player, and video player are all a part of it.

Darn. Way too much for one simple option. Any recommendations for a camera app with that cartoon functionality?

I'm sure most of us here have heard of this leaked app that is supposedly an early music app for Honeycomb. Just thought i'd share a link to a site to download it.
Link to download site: http://www.droid-life.com/2010/12/27/download-honeycomb-music-player-from-google-io/
Youtube video showcasing this early dev build: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZGw8TxCtNg&feature=related
** This is assumed to be a leaked early developer version! I had no hand in developing this! I'm not responsible for any damage that installing this app may cause, just delivering the message!
Enjoy!
Looks pretty sweet, a lot better than the current music app. Thanks for this.
Been running the app for 2 days... no fc's or problems at all... its about time they cleaned up the crappy stock music player.
Teleported with mind bullets via XDA App.
Yeah, i'm diggin the color fade between screens.
Whouda thought Android would have a bit of gangster in it? lol
Would love to have an eq though, unless i'm missing it.
woot thanks for sharing. just installed it.
Just installed, now time to remove the default app, thought this was going to replace it but didnt lol
It replaced my stock music app. But my question is, what is that jumper test for?

How do I uninstall the default player. I have the gold symbol and the original blue. I like the new touches. Especially how it displays the album art. That's neat lol

using titaniam back up just unistall the music player i think the version is 2.x.x
or just set the 3.0 music version to default...
i unistalled due to the bugginess still, and all the battery it burned... it also used a lot of RAM... i did enjoy the new look tho, will be cool to use when the complete version is out...
I like the coloring and much nicer looking set up.

I am running stock software on my G2 without root.

You won't be able to remove the stock music app without root. You need write access to /system/app to modify the contents.
Whats the additional jumper app for?

looks great but not always so smooth. My music sometimes gets choppy when I'm doing other things sadly D:
Does anyone know how to get the Action Movie FX app (like on the iPhone) or any app similar
When asking for something never include "like the iPhone"...
Easiest way for trolls to flame you or for people who dispise the iPhone to talk crap. Hopefully you find what your looking for.

There's the Samsung Video Editor for the Galaxy line.
Haven't tried it but good luck!
I know what he is talking about my nephew has that app on his crypod touch the app is pretty sweet actually...you can take picsor vids then add movie effects to them like having a missle flyin and blow **** up lol makes me laugh. anyway
Haven't seen anything like it anywhere around the android community but maybe the dev of that app might make a version for us

I like the stock video editor from Galaxy S II and I was wondering is there any way to bring that to Note II. I try bringing it back from titanium backup but it got fc. I would appreciate if someone could help me with that.
I've been looking around all day for a good video editor. The one from the Note 1 supposedly FC's, and it's nowhere to be found on here either.
Have you had any luck finding an alternative?
No. So I'm just using my s2 for video editing this days

Meh. I work on music videos on the go on my phone, just for the project's sake. I used to do it fine on my iPhone, I really wish there was an Android equivalent considering the GN2 is an epic phone.
Music videos like adding music to existing clips?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
I sort of film music videos on the go, often slowing clips down, transitioning them, adding effects or adjusting color occasionally, adding in identity text in the beginning, or mixing a secondary audio track with a clip's audio.
That sounds cool. I'd like to learn how to do some of that since it really interest me.. let me know if you find a somewhat decent app for it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
Ah definitely, unfortunately Android is suffering a whole lot with the video editing department, almost makes me wish i had a (gasp) damn ipod touch or something.
I've looked around for a DSP Manager for TouchWiz roms but i have not found anything. Does such a thing exist or must I change to an AOSP or CM room?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I tried that for a while too. There is a version of awesome beat that works but only with other music player; not the stock Samsung one. And even then, it's buggy. Sometime applying setting for Bluetooth audio to headphone, etc. I eventually have up and just use the default dsp built in; which again, can only be accessed by other music player
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
You're not looking hard enough.. I'm using it right now, the only problem is that it doesn't work with any music player in touchwiz except for poweramp and it works great!! but you have to disable direct volume control in audio settings and also disable the eq in poweramp, and everything that is enabled there for best results

Intenli hegaveh
Damn! Alright then, thanks for the suggestion
Sure no problem, it does work with everything else though like browser, Pandora, YouTube, pretty much anything that doesn't read music from your SD

NICE!! Thats AWESOME!
Since I usually run twiz I haven't found a video player that works as well on cm base as the stock video player on twiz especially while using an mhl adapter. Cm video player from gallery won't play a lot of movies and downloaded ones from play store are either pixelated and choppy or just totally off. Any recommendations. I love the new rom by mr impossible but since I took cable out my room and I got a mhl cord I watch a lot of movies through my phone so this is a must
