It's about call barring on Xperia X1. I want to block a few callers from my agenda and all unknown numbers. For this I try call firewall 1.4. It blocks specified numbers but when mark reject unknown / private calls nothing happends, i receive calls for all others unknowns
Did you have simmilar problems? Or can recomand other programs

my call firewall can reject unknown/private calls on xperia X1.my setting is mark the unknown calls and use the accept all calls menu.the problem is i can't reject the blacklist SMS.

Hey guys,
Not sure if this is a bug of the build but when I go to a contact and select:
Options -> Incoming Calls (Send calls directly to voicemail)
Nothing happens. The incoming call is not blocked neither is it sent to voicemail.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
Also does anyone know the call blocking procedure this provides when working? Is it at system level like the HTC Blocked Callers App that blocks a call before it even connects and thus has no ring. Or is it a simple hangup after the connection has been established meaning it rings once then gets cut?
I am looking for an app that does it at system level so if the CM7 block feature does not provide this can anyone point me to one that does? Is there an .apk for the HTC Blocked Callers app?

Hello all, this is my first post.
I'm having an issue when an unknown caller calls my cell phone. When they call, for example, it will say Incoming Call &êï¥à. Respectedly, once I miss the call, it will say (In the top bar notification area) Missed Call from &êï¥à. I can open up missed call logs and the number shows up there, but what's with these characters? It's really annoying as I would like to just look at the phone as they're calling to see who it is. If I save the number in my contact list, it will show up correct with the name I assign. I have caller ID with my Rogers plan so that can't be it. I am using the Samsung Galaxy S III (Rogers) with CM 10.1 nightly, before I was on the 10.0 stable.
How can I fix this issue?
tl;dr: when someone calls it says Incoming Call &êï¥à (or some other symbols) and also say missed call from &êï¥à in the notifcation window yet shows the number when i open call logs, which is annoying.

I just wanted to know whether htc 10 has popup incoming call, the one which will keep you in any screen you are ant not interrupting you.?
Also, please tell me if the messaging app supports black listing phrases, so all of incoming messages with that phrase are blacklisted.

popup call, I don't think so.
yes, htc default phone app and message app supports blocking unwanted people.
No heads-up notification for incoming GSM calls.. only for incoming calls on Hangouts Dialer (i.e. Google Voice)
No built-in SMS filtering based on the incoming message content..
