--U made a spelling mistake in radio version which should be 3.35.20.10.
--And unlike htc magic/dream/hero , the wildfire has NAND lock which locks the system partition as read-only on every reboot. This makes it hard to root. And the wildfire with hboot 1.01 + S-ON is not rooted by any software methods as now.
Presently, the only possible way to root it is to make it S-OFF by xtc clip, which is not a free stuff. If u r willing to wait for free stuff, there will be future AlpharevX.

Any help appreciated
First you need to root using unrevoked, when that is successful you can use alpharev.
Also make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. It's all there.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App
that is what i tried
Use unrevoked, not unrevoked forever.
used unrevoked 3
DId you installed The hboot drivers correctly?
http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/windows_hboot_driver_install
Try this version of unrevoked 3:
http://downloads.unrevoked.com/recovery/3.21/reflash_package.exe
Is USB-Debug-Mode on while trying to root your Desire with unrevoked?
Do you have set the usb-connection-mode on "only charge" and "never ask"?
Do you try to root with windows or linux?
For windows: uninstalled HTC Sync (not the Drivers) and rebooted your computer after this?
Still have problems? Try to root with superoneclick:

If you got s=off, run older version of RUU file to downgrade software and hboot.
No my one s-on

You need xtc clip to make it S-off. No other way, you can't make a way, nobody is working on a way. You can't use unrevoked, alpharevx Jesus or Cthulhu to unlock it. XTC clip is the only way.
Also you can't downgrade hboot as there is no lower revision I don't think.
I've been looking into this myself since I have a T-Mobile branded Wildfire S with hboot 1.03 so I cant currently debrand it. The original batch of T-Mobile Wildfire S had a hboot of 0.90.
Before I splash some cash on an XTC Clip, I just want to check that I need one to S-Off the device so I can use RUU to debrand it.
(Unless anyone knows of a shop or someone who has one i can borrow in Central Scotland!)
My Wildfire S has 0.90, was easy to S-off using the clip, but by the looks of it some people are having issues with 1.03 getting the clip to work.
Edit: 0.90 and 1.03 should both work with the clip, seems the issue is with the dummy sim connection.
Guys, have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1301388
The clip works, you must make sure the lead is pushed right the way down in the sin slot - failure to do that results in s-on.

You can now downgrade and gain adb root with S-ON, no need for XTC clip!
Check the tutorial

Go to htcdev website and do an unlock (s=off) using their tool. Your phone is supported there. But be aware, that you should have original stock firmware on your phone just for compatibility and prevent from bootloop.
Just to be clear, the unlock at the htcdev website does not give S-OFF

[Q]regain s -on for HTC wildfire

Hi, I am a new to XDA Developers and I only registered because I have a problem with my HTC Wildfire (Buzz). I need to downgrade my hBoot so I can unlock the bootloader. I didn't know about the bootloader having to be unlocked so I used Revolutionary. I had hboot 1.01.1001 at the time and it was a successfull root. I tried to boot to Clockworkmod Recovery to install Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 when a HTC phone picture came up with a red triangle with a '!' inside it. The specs of the phone are as follows: Android OS: 2.1 (Eclair) (I downgraded from 2.2.1 recently) hBoot: -Revolutionary- BUZZ PVT SHIP S-OFF HBOOT-6.01.1002 MICROP-0622 TOUCH PANEL QTMEL03_16ac RADIO-3.35.15.19 Nov 17 2010, 12:08:53 Please help!
The s-off means you're bootloader is unlocked, and the hboot 6.xxx.xxx is the unlocked bootloader which revolutionary installs. This means you're fully unlocked and good to go with just about everything.
If you run revolutionary again at the end it should ask if you want to install clockworkmod recovery choose yes and it should install clockworkmod 4.0.1.4(i think) which has bugs but is good enough for now.
Sorry im a bit drunk atm, hope that makes sense.........

First of all, your phone is an HTC Wildfire, NOT a Wildfire S..........Go to the devices forum(HTC Buzz:Wildfire) and ask your question over there
