Im running gingerale v3 and the new kernel so i dont have brightness issue. Theres one kernel for stock and one for non stock which is the one im using. My wifi on my computer speed test is around 20mbps and on the phone i can only seem to get 5 tops

New kernel doesn't support Wireless-N. Go to Development because there should be a flashable zip somewhere to add it.

Yes. Sense kernels only work with Sense ROMs and AOSP kernels only work with AOSP ROMs.

MIUI is awesome but I just replaced with sense because I had horrible battery life on MIUI (along with some other issues). How's your battery life ?

I get days. I replaced my battery at 11am, here we are 13 hours later and I still have 81%.

I'm actually still on 1.1.28. I was planning on updating today but I was too busy playing Uncharted 2. You do not need to flash an AOSP kernel first because one comes packaged with the ROM. All ROMs come packaged with kernels. If you don't like the one it comes with, you can flash a different one after flashing the ROM.
Whereabouts can I find an MIUI rom? I found one and downloaded it but it wasn't a zip file?

Where are you finding an .exe? The "download here" link takes you to the official MIUI release thread on miui-dev where you can download it. It is definitely a zip file. http://forums.miui-dev.com/showthread.php?2053

Where can I can I find that deck rom at. Does everything work like 4 g and GPS. I am new at roms I just been getting them from rom manager.

[8-20-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.3d][2.3.5 beta] this rom is a pure vanilla rom nothing fancy and no bloatware it runs smoothly... Gps sometimes fails but their is fixes and they are simple... This has been my go to rom after others completely fail to become a daily driver

Oh and rom manager is awesome but give "amon ra" recovery a try or teamwin custom recovery I find it to be a much cleaner install... Amon ra download link should be on the kushdeck that I linked above

for me, savagedzen 2.2.0 cfs+havs+sbc undervolted 50 mv with vipermod works great.

You should be able to get sz 2.2.1 and all of the tiamat kernels from my sig.
I personaly use sz 2.2.1 with the interactiveX governor uv -50

The voltage thingy is totally simple, just flash vipermod in recovery and go to terminal emulator, type su then type vipermod, follow onscreen instructions and save changes. Easy...maybe someone will post a download for it. I dont have time to look right now.

i just use IM+ it's free and it works with every IM service that ever existed.
So does anyone still have this version of the kernel? The one with oc & uv. I know its very outdated but I have never seen any kernel run as well as that one did on my phone. Idk how I lost it. I tried downloading it from the kernels thread but its link is dead. Does anyone have it lying around on their computer somewhere?=)

Or if you're in a rush you can extract the kernel from simplesensei new Rom. It has bbelos FC09 kernel built into it.
It's a simple copy and paste
