After some work I have a simple CM7 based ROM. There isn't too much new at least compared with greatest Elelinux and Erasmux stuff, but i'm quite proud of this work. It's just my daily use ROM and I will like to share it with XDA people. Not many changes from CM nightlies but some custom stuff. I only use google APP2SD method so this rom doesn't have customized app2sd (don't like move everything to SD!!!). It was added as option..
Options for Launcher Pro, screen density and app2sd method.
As always with new roms, wipe all and I recomend format /system and /boot too (depends on recovery choosen).
Hope you'll like my work and remember use at your own risk...

It should be a little bit faster then megaupload .
great good work im downloading it .. will test it and tell you how it looks ..
its a fast rom .. the problems i found :
- i changed the language to French and some programs are still with Spanish ...
- applications such as "adao file manager" and "installer" are not in full screen some Widgets are cropped it seems that there's a resolution issue..
- can someone put launcherpro instead of adw launcher as default home lol
- i like pretty bad the theme especially the Droid in the notifications
no other issues so far i will still testing it and really good work .. merci

_For screen resolution issues, un-tick "Compatibility Mode" on Spare Parts (must reboot) and I haven't found any issue then..
_I will add launcherpro as an option because it isn't opensorce ;-P
_About French, what application do you still see on Spanish, if it happens only on TESLA stuff it is treu because I just use English and Spanish during compilation.

Yes, you can change lcd_density in /system/build.prop :
ro.sf.lcd_density=140 --> default value is 160 you can revert back changing this value.
If you want I can create an update.zip with this change.

app swap AKA app2sd will work, but it is not implemented... I didn't use app2sd method because I had problems with widgets and applications when USB card is/was mounted on PC. That is the reason why I didn't implemented (Elelinux ROM has app2sd fully supported and working nicely) and I prefer old froyo/google method, selecting what apps will go to SD.

You can use font changer from the market. I have not used it on this rom but it works on other roms ok.

Hi all,
I added and option for default HTC HERO LCD Density If you prefer normal size environment.
I will add LauncherPro as an option too, although I prefer opensource ADW....

Installing / First Install of 1.2+ Guide:
1) Flash RecoveryMod.zip (credit to Klothius), you won't be able to install other custom ROMs than mine (unless they use the same MTD config as I do) until you revert the RecoveryMod!
2) Reboot into recovery again, format system, data & cache in the partitions menu
3) Flash the ROM
( 4) If you get a force-close after booting, flash the fix below.)

Why is the RecoveryMod necessary?
The ROM is using a modified Kernel commandline to change the partitioning, to be exact, it changes the sizes so you get more space on /data.
A custom recovery is needed, because a normal recovery would flash to wrong sectors in the NAND, so the flashed boot.img, which contains initialization scripts, wouldn't be able to recognize and read the system files.
Revert Recovery Guide:
1) Download ROM Manager from the Android Market
2) Flash the recovery via the first option in the app
3) Put another ROM on your SDcard
4) Reboot into recovery MANUALLY
5) Format all partitions except the SDCARD in the partitions menu
6) Flash the other ROM

good choice on kernel, when other devs switch to that kernel (such as robomix) their performance jumps to the top of the list LoL.

Anyways this ROM seems to be pretty nice. Good performance and I really like FrindStream and the legend stuff
maxisma, thank you for including United States English. I'm tired of sense roms giving me a british accent in google nav and british news sources in google news+weather widget.
However, adding a canadian locale would be even better sir!

only (super low priority) suggestion I have is that maybe you could consider making the lockscreen semi-transparent rather than 100% transparent? it's really confusing to anyone other than me. coworked picked it up and tried tapping things and thought it was broken, I told them to drag it down. voila, but it's a little misleading.
it's really not important though - and definitely a matter of taste.

Just wanted to say that this rom is really great.
Super smooth and friggin' fast ( even without OC )...
Only thing not working for me is the JIT patch but since JIT doesn't work on any 2.1 rom for me that's not an issue

A question about the ROM, when you specify "- Battery percentage indicator" does that mean CyanogenMOD-like indicator or a widget or so?
This is a CM6-based ROM with app2SD for the GSM Hero
Elelinux-6.2.0-Hero-Speedmachine-v5-Reloaded
Now cm 6.1 old and development of the cm source is moving forward all the time, so I have chosen to release a rom where I moved some from 2.3 to this rom + lots more candy from the cm source.
This has a lot of new features including CPU settings in cyanogenmod settings, two different lockscreens, etc.
The rom is a custom for my own taste, has also managed to get the dictionary to work but not moved over the graphic yet from Gingerbread, the dictionary is for the ftp and good Bandwidth available in the languages aosp offer.Over time, as things fall into place so there will be a stock GingerBread but not now in this situation.
Have chosen to put part of google apps in the rom,will add options for those who want rest and part of cyanogenmods apps.Market is version 1.8.2 simply because no one should have trouble with that part.What I took away is, live wallpaper, development, spareparts, rommmanagerprotips and provision and some googleapps like googlequicksearchbox and car.
Kernel is build on erasmux kernel source 12a,included compache but not to recommend,the default frequency is 352-576 MHz and smartass mode, but easy to change with the built-in CPU setting.Kernel support ext2-3-4

i wiped everything and flashed the Rom. Seems ok , but i have a weird problem. My Home and Call button does not work, had this one time before, so i thought it was a Rom problem. But now i have the Problem again i wanted to ask if it is a known problem!?

4tab Lockscreen and MIUI explained :
The upper right tab / right handle (MIUI) has to be set using the new 'Lockscreen menu' in settings
You can set it to launch anything (folder shortcut or any application ) I personally set it to messaging ( SMS application).
If you dont associate the tab with something it will soft reboot the phone when you use the tab
Both lockscreens will share the same 'custom setting'
Lockscreen Music Controls explained :
Aosp - Rotary - MIUI - R2D2 - 4tab : Music controls will work with ANY music player except the stock samsung one
SGS2 - Epic - Glass - Puzzle : Music controls will only work with the stock samsung music player
Just want to point out that double tapping the lock (MIUI) will bring up music controls, cool feature and that MIUI works with Pandora !!!
SGSII lockscreen known issues :
Lockscreen Wallpaper can be set, but cannot be unset. This is because the Galaxy S 2 uses a different Gallery Application. To remove the Lockscreen Wallpaper and revert automatically to the default Wallpaper, delete this file

I have install this rom about stock JVP with Darkcore 2.7.3 and dont pass initial SGS black and white image. Whats the problem???

Works fine here too. Try to re install busybox from titanium.
I like it, but unfortunately it's too buggy.
ASOP lockscreen doesn't work on my GS and if I choose it, it fuc*s the whole OS
We'll see what's next.

Acudroid version V3.1.1 with out of the box ICS Theme, it's build on top of the great smooth base Android 2.3.6 JQ9.
Changes against V3.1:
Solved some graphic glisches like sub menu background, it´s changed to black.
Removed some build.prop tcp tweaks because of wifi and 3g issues.
Implemented Khalpowers tweaks. All credits goes to him for the tweaks source, he did a very good job on putting the tweaks and values together especially for our TAB.
Added Gtask widget transparant.
If you use BT accessories like a keyboard you need to flash AF's kernel, this fix is found by user yappoe. see post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23058278&postcount=150 hit his thanks button for posting the feedback.

I did not made any changes concerning DPI graphic glitches when using DPI 160 as i only use 240DPI, DPI 160 is way to small for me as i use reading glasses

If your running on froyo you cannot do that, if not and your on 2.3.6 and use ext4 file system you can try but i advice to reinstall the stock gingerbread as mentioned in the post. You can donwload the stock firmware from the link i provided.

Q 4: My Quadrant score is not as high as on different ROM. What does it mean? A: It means absolutely nothing. Benchmarks on Android System are more or less lottery and they are not showing the real system performance.
There are many settings that can force Quadrant to show more then 1800 points but it's faked performance, that actually can slow down your phone in some circumstances.
What I always emphasize is a real performance, the one you can feel under your fingers. Remember that I/O has some limit and surpassing it shows just a numbers without true ratio.

Q 5: in my rom sometime have lag where is problem? A: this rom after many test don`t have any lag,then certainly you have Low signal strength in all android device this problem exist Low signal strength = must battery drain & add lagy in sense,you can test it when you have this problem please set device to offline ,now you can work smoothly and fast with rom but this is no problem for rom

Q 5: How to understand about calibrated battery?
A: With Root Explorer Go to this address /data/data ==> and go to the end off the list ,if file .battery-calibrated is exist ,the battery is calibrated well and there is no need to use other app for calibrate it ,
B: if can`t see this file ==> .battery-calibrated ,you must connect your battery charger and wait to created this file

thanks ,yes it`s really better than all sense 2.1+3.0 and think all over rom for hd2 ,Because I tried that make one Ultimate rom with work all stuff,
for now this rom with great installation & super fast & most complete rom for HD2
only one problem exist and its camcoder lag,like other build,but in next plane hope fix comcoder lag,
i over 2 week day and night ,work and debugging on this great build for fix any problem,now you can`t find any lag in sense

beats audio really use less option for hd2 because beats audio work great with original headset for beats,but we don`t have this headset

The rom looks really promising. Will give it a try once you have the links up. Thankx a lot for your hard work. Looking at the screens i can say this must have been your life priority atleast for a few days.
AS for beats audio. Please, please dont add it. Its just a nonsense. I cant understand why some would actually prefer it. If anyone wants it badly please consider leaving it as an optional add-on.
Since some may argue about my judgement, all i can say is there is a special audio chip integrated into the newer devices which gets activated when it detects the beats audio headphone is inserted. thus chip+BA headphone drives the awesome sound. But HD2 does not. All it really does is take an extra space.
