Is there a "regular" Launcher2.apk(like the one from eb13, with browser instead of sprint iD in the dock) available for ec05? Also, is there a launcher.apk(eclair style) available?
Sent from the only thing i need.
I would try pushing the launcher2.apk from a random froyo Tom and check to see if it works

I'm assuming you meant rom lol. Lol like from an eb13 based rom? Same thing for the launcher.apk?

If you go into the market the Gingerbread Launcher (AOSP) is available in the market, it is everything you are asking for.

Ok, I'll do everything I need with that. But what about an eclair style? I know its weird, but I kind of miss the one we had.

Download one of the stock EB13 Roms and pull the apk from system/app.

You mean DI18, right? Cause eb13 was froyo. Just making sure I got this all right.
Edit:I found the deodexed di18 stock rom. Very large lol. I'll have to do this tomorrow hopefully.

I said EB13, because I wouldn't try using eclair system apps with Froyo, plus the Froyo launcher has a lot more features.

Ha! Yeah isn't that beautiful, such calming music too. What you are seeing is a various amount of widgets. You need to customize your screens to your own liking. Long press on an empty area of a home screen or blank screen and pick to add a widget and try each one out and see which you like. You can also change your wallpapers and other things. You can add widgets from the market as well. Lots of people like Beautiful Widgets which is a paid app. Have fun customizing.

I think that was what touchwiz 3.0 was supposed to look like before they made changes. I'm not sure though I thought I read something about it somewhere. Out twiz 3.0 is not what twist 3.0 was supposed to look like.

i believe each recovery needs to be built specifically and with what we have, i believe we are pretty close to having a rock solid kernel to create the CWR for the ET4G

You mean the stock android multi tasking screen? All Samsung did was add the Task Manager button to it to throw the old gingerwiz options in.
On stock ICS you ONLY have the recent/running app images and swipe off. Atleast back on touchwiz u still could go to task manager and exit all, clear memory.

I made the switch with phantom hacker's ics blazer released yesterday. My multi-taking screen looks nothing like that one. It's a sort of horizontal scrolling layout instead of a vertical one and the screenshots for the apps is badly pixilated and warped. I'd kill to have the one you're showing in the screenshot.

That sounds like a possibility. Is there a way to change it? I've seen some other comments from people in the Blazer thread who don't seem to like it either, I've just not seen any solutions forthcoming.

Such a modification resides mostly within system UI framework, however, his rom is themed else ware within that framework from the looks of it. So unless you actually edit the framework to reuse the old layout, your options are use stock systemui and ditch part of the theme or request a stock version from your dev

2.7.1 is their custom rom. This is their stock rom.
Tried out rom and everything is as perfect as your other rom. Except for the fact that this one its stock so it includes T-mobile apps. An awesome stock rom alternative.
Thanks Team Infamous
Well guess this one is a bust...oh well.
I wouldn't say it's a bust. I think this is exactly what I'm looking for. I change the homescreen and lockscreen regardless so Touchwiz doesn't even come into play. It's simple ICS guts though that's hard to find.
Like FlagshipX said, its not a bust. Its an awesome stock alternative rom for people who prefer something stock but with tweaks. I personally like debloated roms, but this type of rom is great if you want to sell your phone and want to give the new owner a stock looking rom.

Mostly yes.....give it a whirl, see if it works for you. I had it installed before.....think I got rid of it due to battery life though.

I'm definitely loving it the battery life seems to be good. Everything works perfect except for 4 g. And that's definitely not an issue for me since I have no 4 g in my area.

by the way in case anybody wants to know the launcher that I'm using is called holo launcher. It's just like apex and Nova. But you can use it on gingerbread. Ya know I just wish we had more options for EL29 roms and gingerbread roms like this. It runs sooooo smoooth. It would be awsome if a dev picked this up and finished it! I dont think it has a lot left to do either. Refine the kernel for better battery life and add some cyanogen settings that are missing. I wish I could dev.
