This looks really good, has anyone gotten one?

Looks promising, I just don't like the part you slip the Tab into. I hate the way the Tab looks in cases like that. I much prefer the case holding the Tab in place at the four corners or like a true smart case like Apples.

Cool, thanks. Well, I'm gonna bite the bullet on that and give it a try. Only $19 anyway, no huge loss if it sucks.
I hope it's good!! I want a case like this!
There is a rather unflattering review of that amazon sold smart cove in the long cases review thread:

Well, so much for that. Love the concept though. I would spend more than $20 on a working one.
Review really sucks
hi, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16299259#post16299259
After three days of using it, do not buy, the material stretch so bad i can't reach the volume or power control, can't plug the power with the case close. But mostly is a price of cap, don,t waste your 20 bucks.
My humble opinion

Since when does a ziploc bag constitute as a waterproof case?!
I just ordered one of these http://www.dealextreme.com/p/protec...-cleaning-cloth-for-samsung-p7510-black-82402

I love the wake-up/sleep function but I'm a bit skeptical that it has that. When you get it, can you confirm this? Thanks. If it does, I might get one myself.

yeah, i can't imagine that it has the wake up and sleep option, and if it does, why on earth don't other covers take advantage of this feature...
some of the pictures make the case look a bit vinyl like which I would not like, i'd gladly pay double for a higher quality.....if only....

I love this part of the description: "100% brand new, high quality Man-made leather". That is one cool way to say imitation!
anyone have this yet? real curious about the sleep wake functionality.
Quite honestly I have to wonder how hard it is to tap the power button when people want to use the Tab?

it's not hard, but
a) on some cases its on the bottom if you open it a certain way
b) if you can avoid pressing buttons, you can avoid wear and tear on them, I know many people have problems on many different smart phones with the power button wearing out...
Regarding the fact that the button is on the bottom on some cases, what does that have to do with this case if the button isn't on the bottom? Just wondering?
What is everybody talking about? There is no sleep/wake on the Tab

Of course there is. If you check the dealextreme website, a highly reputable distributor of Chinese manufactured stuff, you will see that the product information clearly states that it has the sleep/wake function... Although, come to think of it, I'm guessing most cases come with the ability to operate when you are both awake or asleep... Hmm...
I really like it and have no problems at all overall a great product. What are your thoughts on it?
Ahem...

I know their is one but I wanted to make my own
Seems a little overpriced. How much different is this from the $18 shipped "Caseen" cases on eBay?
I got the zipped sleeve/cover and I like it the casement one looks like a hard flip cover
I mainly bought this tablet for school. I was looking into a good bluetooth keyboard with Android specific shortcuts like Home, Recents, Back and Menu. I was looking at the Motorola Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad seeing that it also has a trackpad. But I notice that it has a search button instead of Recents. Would I be able to remap the search button to work for Recents instead?
Also I was looking at stands. I prefer to have a stand alone stand and not a case/stand combo because I love the sleekness of this tab. I was looking at the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand but it looks kinda flimsy. Last thing I want is this thing flipping over and breaking.
Can anyone give me some thoughts or other suggestions if need be?
Edit: I just seen the ErgoPROP Ergonomic Display Stand. I think I am sold on this one. Has anyone ever used this stand before?
I have this keyboard http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-...089&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+android+keyboard, and I love it. It's case doubles as a stand.
I agree too, i bought ithe logitech and love it. I haven't tried other keyboards, but im pretty happy with the logitech so i dont think theres really a need to try a new one
I have two of the Arkon stands, which I use with both the Note and my ThinkPad - a heavier, bulkier tablet. The stand is not flimsy at all and has held up well in constant use. I've had the two stands for more than a year. Very portable, but also very sturdy.

I was going through the Website for Samsung India and found something which I would like to have.
Its not made for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 but was wondering whether this will work?
Bluetooth Keyboard with Book cover(P750) - BKC-1B1USBGINU
Please let me know whether this will work for us and i'll be very thankful.
Thanks.

You'd been saying a no, reason being the weight of the product?
The price is not the prime issue, my reason to vouch for it is it being the product by Samsung for Samsung...
I'm confused because there aren't a lot of products directly available in India
My reason is based on the size of the Note. It is bigger than the model that item is made for. That said, it's your $.
You were right.
I did little checking too with the local dealer.
Besides that, I even mailed the Customer Care at Samsung and asked them for details.
They have reverted back saying it is not compatible.
What would your suggestions for a keyboard case be like?
Are Samsung Guys at all planning for something like this?
I'm looking for one myself. Haven't found one I like, yet. Check out this thread for help. The first couple of posts are not helpful since they talk about one for the Tab, maybe even the one you found. The rest of the posts may be quite helpful, just depends.

Hmm...
Its kinda sad but Samsung ain't taking a lotta effort it seems.
Hundreds of options (After Market) are available.
Belkin, Kensington etc... have organised accessories but I think / rather I would wait for Samsung.
Hope its not a LONG one...
Thing is, it's still kind of early. Could be Samsung is letting the aftermarket handle things. Who knows?
Think you're right.
Anyway its nice to know I'm not the only one on the lonely road.
I'm pretty sure though the options will be available in Europe / US markets comparatively earlier than India (Asia).
If so, can you be kind enough to inform me of the product?
Thanks.

Sure, if I find one and if I remember. I do taxes and we're heading in year-end and tax season. It's brutal.

I have an identical stand sold under a different brand name. I stopped using it when I got a ZAGGFolio for my old Tab 10.1, but since I don't have a proper keyboard/case combo for the Note 10.1, I'm using the stand again.

Because it is for the Tab 10.1, not the Note 10.1.
It's VERY well established that any case specifically made for the Tab or Tab2 10.1 will NOT fit the Note 10.1.

Yea thats it. Its a great keyboard so far. the only con so far is that it uses AA Batteries instead of having a built in battery. But I got a ton of rechargeable batteries so idc too much
I know that they usually don't include that in us model phones, but it would be a shame because I'm seeing a lot of the apps just attach to things like Samsung Keyboard and extend functionality, or be customized for S Pen. Can someone chime in?
yep
Great! Thanks!

I recommend the Nillken case (just got mines in the mail) from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140855149689&ssPageName=ADME:L:eek:C:US:3160
it's pretty light and thin, and the rear cover has a dotted texture which makes holding the Note II MUCH easier than just the slippery back cover.
But if you want the Samsung cover, there's a 50% code flying around these forums

How is the keyboard working? I heard the Samsung keyboard for S3 is very flimsy and looses contact with tablet when you press on the screen a little too hard. Looking for an alternative...

I've seen some websites recommend this keyboard for the tab s3 and some reviews featured it. Additionally I have a transparent rubbery back screen guard and also the sides and all. I didn't mention that.
Well the tablet doesn't slip due to this but it used to do I got the back rubber matter cover. But now I can't put it easily with the screen guard protection. Anyways it doesn't slip so that case is relagated to backup.
Well all the keyboard features work well but I'd recommend the k380 as it's lighter and better. But if you're looking for tablet friendly then go for that. Well I write a lot on it and it's been fine so far no lack. My friends feel the click is kinda noisy but I squish type it isn't an issue for me and I knew of this before buying I did my research.
Again I'd recommend k380 if you've got a good flip cover and don't use it as a laptop replacement or are a heavy user. Eventually I suggest if you can try it out or Amazon it if it's returnable and try it out. Both of them.
For me K480 is what works. There is even the anker keyboard. It's good but nothing beats Logitech except the ipad keyboard case. Was that Logitech too? Anyhow a google search for best portable keyboard would help you. But in the end you'd come down to either k380 or k480 or a third one like anker or such
