[Q] SD Card speed fix problem - About xda-developers.com

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy GT-I5801 (G3 Apollo) with Kyrillos' Honeycomb Edition ROM v5.6 that I find great.
Could someone explain to me why, with the script 2048 kb SDcard read speed fix, with my 1 gb SDcard class 2, I get write speed 6.3 MB/s - read speed 16.5 MB/s, and with an 8 gb sdcard class 4, I get write speed 12.8 MB/s but only read speed 5.6 MB/s . What's wrong ?
Thx
SD Tools test result :

Finally, I think I found the problem, do not buy sdcard on ebay, there is much chance that it comes from a stock card rejected for testing before release. I just ordered a 4GB SDHC MICRO SD CLASS 6 4 GB Samsung official.

I just want to add that the sd card speed fix is not guaranteed to work on every SD card as reported from Kyrillos in the official thread.

ANY owner of G4 unit could make SDHC work?

This ROM should work (working for me on G4)
hmmmm
I reformated my sdhc and with this ROM now I can see it.
But no advantage....SDHC 8Gb, but it only reads 4Gb. No matter if I use 2 partitions, whatever, only reads up to 4Gb.
Real dream is make it compatible with 8gb.
please try the following

i have been using this ROM with full SDHC support, currently i am using 8GB and it shows 7.5GB free space, ROM is also very fast and stable
