Hi
I have this problem for a week now with my market app. At first I notice that when I open market app in top of window there are only 2 apps(see on picture...big red circle) insted of 8 or 10. Than all apps(pics) are gone and I notice that my app button is no longer same...now its just triangle intstad arrow and when I goes to my apps there are some apss instaleted on my fone missing and its doesnt shown there but there are in market when I looking for them and its show they are instaleted. And there are only 5 icons on buttom(orange circle on pic). Does any one have same problem or know how to fix it?
I try to uninstall updates, clear cach,data...and doesnt work.
Same problem here..

I have the same problem too.
Sometimes even, there are no apps on the market carousel but i can live with out that.
The problem is that My Apps is missing several of the applications i have on the phone, when i search for the missing apps through the market they display installed or update if its available.
The second problem is that if i go to the Just in section and press anywhere i get the force close pop up and it brings me back to the previous screen.
I have tried clearing the cache and data but it didn`t help, then i uninstalled the updates and the problems where gone but after the market updated itself the same problems reappeared.
I am runing a stock 2.2.1 with LauncherPro.
Oh and yes I have searched the net but couldn`t find any help.
Hey everyone here its not a problem actually you might have installed application which are not available for your region or you might have installed cracked applications thats y market doesn't show that.
No that is not the case here. All of apps except one were installed from the market.
I can`t see for example 3g watchdog,Angry birds,Desktop Visualizer,Shazaam... among others and it still wouldn`t explain the force close issue.
Update:
Well the market sorta fixed itself, well almost, since i still have the force close issue when i try to tap in the Just in section.
All of the downloaded apps are now listed in My apps, the market carousel is working properly and only the force close issue remains.
Any ideas anyone??
My market app fixed itself...yesterday I open it and its normal again.

Hi all,
I have a kinda big problem with my Wildfire S.
Every time I install an app from the market, it works fine but when I reboot the phone the app starts downloading again even when it's already working without any problems.
When the download is complete, the problem is gone. When turning the phone back off/on it starts downloading again... And that's the big problem.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
The problem occurs when I tried to install widgets and apps from HTC Hub and same problems with apps from the market, like SiMi Clock and other widgets.
And this while on other Wildfire S phones it seems to work normal.
I think I've tried everything, like rebooting, restoring factory settings, uninstalling and reinstalling....
Thank you already, just for reading this ;-)
Greetz from Belgium!!!
//EDIT// problem solved -> phone back to manufacturer. Thx for your "help" guys...
Hey everyone...
Lately I seem to have a rather strange bug on my phone:
Whenever I try to install an app from android market, the same thing happens:
The phone downloads the app and then it doesn't install it. It goes to 100% and then it disappears from the notification bar, before installing it. I have to download several times the same app, in order to get it installed.
Any ideas what might be the problem and the solution here?
Happens with me too. Also checked friends motorolla defy and the same problem repeats. Looks like it is a bug for market, not the device.
The problem mostly occurs when the same app is getting downloaded twice at the same time. Even if we cancel one download, the 2nd one goes to 100% without installing. But such downloaded app will be present somewhere in /data partition. Last time I manually installed it from there but don't remember the path correctly.

Hi guys, I never posted here but am trying to find some help. I've had my S4 for quite a while now, and I just factory reset everything because I kept getting a "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped." message that wouldn't go away or let me use my phone without an interruption literally every 2 seconds. But before I even had that problem, there were worse problems as well. There are two things that occur frequently:
1. Sometimes, when I tap on an icon, the indicator light shows up (a glow around the icon), but the app itself does not open. Then, if i tap on it repeatedly, nothing happens. I can temporarily fix this problem by opening up the recent/opened apps list (holding home button) and clearing everything (or clicking on that app if it had been opened). Once cleared, I can tap it again and it would open. As you might see, this can get very annoying and troublesome after doing it so many times. Is there anyway I can permanently fix this so that I don't need to keep clearing the open apps list?
2. Sometimes, when I unlock my screen, exit an app, press the home button, or clear the opened app list (as mentioned above), my wallpaper changes to an app. The app is usually random and sometimes is not one that I had opened. For example, the background of my messaging app or Astro File Manager would show up even if I had not recently opened it at all. I can also temporarily fix this by clearing the recent/opened apps list (as mentioned in #1). After clearing this, the wallpaper resets. Is there any way I can fix this permanently as well?
3. Snapchat and VSCO Cam constantly "stop unexpectedly". I don't know if this is a firmware or incompatibility issue, but it usually works fine. This message pops up once in a while and isn't too burdensome, but is still quite annoying.
Thank you for all the help in advance. I am trying to get the most out of my phone and appreciate any help.
Are you running stock or custom and has anything changed since you factory reset?

It's stock right now. Not rooted or anything at all. I didn't really change much of the device internally, only downloaded a couple of apps, but those have been working fine since the beginning. It is running Kit Kat, 4.4.2. I am currently using Nova Launcher as my home screen replacement.
Android 9. Last night several apps stopped working. So I started deleting recent apps, rebooted, still same problem. Then I started deleting unnecessary apps, rebooted, still same problem. Any known issue that may cause this?
Some apps I try to open, and just get a plain white screen. Others, start to open, then just go back to previous screen. Sometimes, it gives me the error (App name) keeps stopping. App info, Close app, Send feedback.
Well, a coworker came in and told me Android is having a big problem (since last night) with something Google Chrome related. I disabled Chrome (for now), and all seems to be working again.

OK, found it in the play store. Need to update Chrome and Webview as per this article - https://www.theverge.com/2021/3/22/22345696/google-android-apps-crashing-fix-system-webview
Does anyone else have this issue where some apps such as instagram, discord, or twitter not run in the background after clearing the recent apps screen? I have tried re-installing the apps, as well as setting their battery options to unrestricted, but to no avail. Because of this I am unable to receive any notifications from these apps. If anyone has experienced this and knows a fix I would really appreciate help.
i think i have the same issue,
received it yesterday
hopefully we get a global rom soon
The only workaround I have for this is to lock the apps that I want running in the recent apps screen. I don't like it because I have a habit of clearing my recent apps every now and then, but it will have to do for now.

The same thing happens to me. It does not happen to me with all the apps but I have verified that with several. for example the ExpressVPN app only works for me if I have the app open in "recent", if I close it the app stops working
messages app not working also, i had to install google messages and it's ok
Hi
Go to Device Shield APP /App management
change the setting in App auto Strat and background running.
I will start a new religion in your name. Ty my savior.
