Need a case that is big enough to handle my Captivate that has a Otter case already on it, so I can attach to my belt. What other model of phone is a little bigger than the Captivate, both length and width?
Thanks!
Why not get the otterbox defender and use the belt clip that comes with it. ive had mine since they came out and have never had any problems with it.

Body glove case + droid belt clip = success

I agree! I also bought it when they came out and even though they're pretty big, I know my phone is protected!!! Agree 100%
+1 Otterbox defender
+2 on defender
In case anyone is looking, I use this product. http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-ACTIVE-Holster-Samsung-Captivate/dp/B004882RNI
Note you can holster the phone with headphones plugged in. I've dropped my phone twice and the case took the hit, not the phone.
Get the Otterbox Defender. I love mine and it is not annoying to carry on your belt.
you can get the otterbox defender case.. I am using that one and it has no problems
Try something made for an Inspire, Infuse, or S2.

I purchased the otter box commuter about 2 weeks ago , and I liked it but the rubber gel case stretches out and wont fit properly , so I just bought the Seidio rugged innocase holter combo , I will say I love it . You may want to look into it
I bout d sendo...hard case plus holster for 40.00, kinda pricey but I luv it..

I use a seidio Innocase II also, i can imagine how big of a pain it would be to have to align the phone then slide it in like that for that dinc combo, but its probably more secure. As a few people have commented, you can accidently catch the latch of the seidio one and eject the phone on accident, depending on where its positioned and your own movements. The rugged combo though has a locking latch.
Anyone know of any hard cases like Seidio makes with a clip in holster for the Atrix ....I really need one and seidio is taking forever to release theirs

like Chongo said. And it's not even really a "hard case". it's a double layer case.... with one layer being capable of attracting lint from alternate dimensions. I don't often use cases.... but to be completely honest, i'm much happier with this slim case i got off of eBay for a few bucks that i've been using for about 2 weeks than i was with the Defender that i used for a day.

Nice, yeah if you need form fitting then otterbox is not for you. I work in nightclubs often so I use it for then but other then that I keep her naked... I love this phone.

I got the body glove when I bought the phone. I is very well made and fits great. it is pretty thin, so it doesn't bulk the phone up too much. I also bought the leather case (att premier store for 20 bucks) with the magnet that puts the phone to sleep when you close it. nice feature. swivel ratcheting belt clip. It fits the bare phone nice and snug. It is supposed to work with tight fitting covers, but I can't see one being thinner than the body glove, and that will not slide into the case well at all. way to hard to get back out. I do reccomend the body glove for a thin rubbery case, though.

What's the best belt holster for the S3? I recently bought a leather holster off Amazon that was suppose to be for the S3, but it's about 2 or 3 times the thickness of the actual phone. I'm looking for a case with a snug fit. The phone is already big, but there's not reason why it needs to buldge out from my hip since it's so thin.

Sorry, I meant leather case. Not a big fan of hard cases...they make the phone bulkier in hand or if I need to put it in my pocket.
Hey all. Does anyone know of a good quality case that clips onto a belt? Preferably one that will last through some physical activity (those fake leather pouches will fall apart). Also huge plus if anyone has experience with a recommended case and knows that it can survive some random bursts of jogging or running (I've had some cheap magnetic ones that would open up and make my phone fly).
Secondly, anyone know of a belt case/pouch that is big enough to fit a protective HTC One case? For example, an Otterbox Commuter? This particular criterion has made my search much harder, but finding one would save me a headache.
I'd love some suggestions. Thanks!

That's actually pretty interesting, although not sure if that will function in more everyday situations as well.
Also, does anyone know if SEIDO's ACTIVE Holster is compatible with the Otterbox Commuter? I've read that for a few other phone models, for some reason SEIDO's Holster fits the Commuter perfectly, but wasn't able to confirm if it's the same for the HTC One.
I was also suggested fortte and bugatti-mobilecases
Would definitely love more suggestions!

Nope. Commuter and active holster don't fit. Commuter is a little thicker. I love the commuter, but need a clip from time to time. The active case is very nice though.
I am looking for one as well. I use the commuter. I always had a ppouch for my OG EVO4G w/commuter and had no issues. 2 months of the ONE with the commuter and I now have a scratch in the screen. I really need a good quality pouch.
I ordered the Otterbox Defender for my One today, it supposedly comes with a belt clip. It's about $38 on Amazon.
So... I needed a case quickly because I do construction and need tough protection. The place I went to had the otter defender, but I don't like the look of it as well as the commuter. So for fun, I asked if he could take the commuter out of the package. I had my t989 s2 on me... In its Seidio case and holster. And bingo... The holster held the commuter pretty well. Shook it face down with my hand under it... And it took a violent shake to make my Moto X in its commuter fall out. So I bought it.
However.. The top clip on holster to release the phone looked like it would fit over the commuter a bit better if I straightened it's curve out a wee bit. Also the sides of the holster weren't very snug. So I took a lighter... Heated the plastic on those spots on the holster a bit. Now the top clip is a bit straighten and fits over the commuter a bit better and the sides of the holster are snug around the commuter now.
So... If anyone really likes the otter box commuter and wants a holster to go with it... And you don't mind tweaking the holster a bit... Amazon sells the Seidio holster separate from the case... For most phones anyway. Grab the S2 T-Mobile t989 holster. Then do some slight bending. I heated mine to long and melted the edges a little... So be careful. Lol I don't care cause it's beat to crap anyway. I may buy a new one.

Btw...if your phone does fall out of the holster and smashes ... It wasn't me that told you about it. I'll deny everything.
Seriously tho... It did take a violent shake to make it fall out. And that's my two year old holster. The springs on the release clip are a little loose now too. Think I'll buy a new one. Then it should be held even better.

OK... An update. I still wasn't happy with the holster top release clip.... So I heated it up big time... It was very soft then. Slipped the phone in, in the commuter case and basically stretched the top clip over the commuter and held it until it hardened. Made the clip a little ugly... But now it's nearly a perfect fit.
Anyway... Gonna see how it goes.... Before I pay for a new holster and repeat all this. My springs are pretty loose..... It's 2 years old.
So this thread may be silly to you guys.... But just experimenting here. Lol
Just don't like the defender case... And didn't want to wait for shipping for something off Amazon. If I end up not liking this set up... Then I'll order a different brand case and holster combo. At least the commuter will protect my phone till it arrived. I do like the sleek look of the commuter tho. Great protection and not toooo bulky.

Perhaps Seidio has a Moto X specific holster? Have you checked?

They do... But it's for their case. Unless I could try it .. Who knows if it fits the commuter case.
I'm gonna probably just stick with my holster now... And after I'm done buying kids Christmas stuff... Get a different case with holster.
I do really like this commuter case... Sucks that otter doesn't make a holster for it.
I got my holster fitting great now tho .... It's just a little burn scarred . Lol

The commuter case and seidio holster were working great... But the springs on my two year old seidio holster's clip broke. Got a defender case and holster now. Big... But feels like a tank. In my job that's what I need. And once my defender is hacked up from work, I'll just use it at work and use my commuter outside of work, when I don't need a holster.

I think it's very retarded of them to put the locking thingie where the audio jack is. That means u have to unplug the jack everytime u take out the phone. Wtf were they thinking?

I would never walk around with my ear buds in with phone in the holster, so I didn't think of that. But yeah, you're right. Lol
Anyway, I got a defender now and couldn't be more pleased with it.

I really like the puregear shell/holster combo. If you do construction, it might not be tough enough to survive a fall from a height, but for my everyday uses (purse, jogging), it is great.

That's definitely a nice looking case. Does look thinner than my defender. Not bad at all!
For work, I do feel better with it inside the defender tank tho. Lol
When my defender gets enough dings and scratches in it, I might use my commuter outside of work...Or maybe something new. I'll keep your find in mind for sure. Might still want a holster outside of work. At work I'll keep it in my soon to be beat up defender tho for sure.

I have a desk job so the kickstand is really nice for having my phone propped up on my desk.
If body guardz would make a Moto X tempered glass screen saver, I would be sooooo happy!
