does anyone know if there are any free apps that can stream your computer webcam to your desire hd or at least provide a web based page . like surveillance software .anything that actually works.

sounds great, but what is really needed for wm is an url snooper. An app that can fetch an url from streams and then open in a player, or better download it...that would be awesome.

I dream of an app that that could one of two - or both.
A) Be able to download a multimedia streams (like GetASFStream) where any multimedia URL will be downloaded. I could really use that to be able to download TV programs.
B) Be able to see/copy the URL of any multimedia streams (like URL SNOOPER 2), so I can bypass any FLASH VIEWER and just watch the stream in a player.
I am quite sure that none of this exists on WM.
This would be THE Multimedia App over them all - and I would pay for this.
Does it make sense?

You cant stream netflix. Netflix uses sliverlight for the browser and thats not on any mobile phone. Netflix doesnt even offer a app so welcome to android your SOL.

EDIT: Sorry my last post wast a good one ! I forgot to help you .. You cant stream netflix but you can get apps that let you use netflix Check out playon also check out tv show streamer thats my fav apps and i think its better then netflix. If your looking to stream tv shows or movies android has tons of apps to do so .. Do a search in the anroid market for Tv shows .

Just like to ask if there is a better DLNA/UPnP android application that can support subtitle when playing on WD TV Live?
I tried bubble, avia, pixel application but it cannot display subtitles when browsing my tablet on WD TV via media server or sending the video on my tablet to WD TV.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way to do it? Or is there a better app for this.

i am seeking an app much similar like Wifi Mouse by XDA that can control Laptop/PC with Android Phones Via Wifi Direct.
The Only Problem in Wifi Mouse App by XDA is that it doesn't display what's going on PC/Laptop Screen.
Other wise it's an Excellent App.
So if any Genius Out here knows an app that can provide Laptop/PC Display Via Wifi Direct Please share the Link Or Name of that App.
