hello this is my first post,
i'm new here
i just flashed the Uber gingersense rcmix b1 by Joelz, then when i reboot system it freeze on htc incredible bootscreen,
i did a full wipe (data, cahce, cache partition, dalvik cache) before flashing..
how to solve this? did i miss something on installation? should i do battery pull now?
i use cmw 3 hboot .92
before i used this i use stock sense 2.0 ROM by incubus (froyo)
ok, solved
i did a battery pull, do a complete wipe, flash cmw 2.5, then re-flash the ROM

if you are using cwm 3, you should flash cmw 2.5 before flashing ROM (after do a full wipe of course)
i think when flashing sense 2.0/2.1 based ROM you should use cmw 2.5 (my experience said that)
but, CMIIW

I'm really enjoying CM6.1.1, however I'd like to update my PRL and the only way to do that is to NANDroid backup CM and flash a Sense based ROM.
I did the backup, downloaded Fresh ROM, did a full wipe and even did a separate Cache wipe and then Dalvik Cache wipe. Then I flashed Fresh. The installation goes fine and I reboot.
I hit the white HTC Evo 4g splash and that's it... it just hangs for more than 5 minutes I've waited. I did a battery pull and booted again and it would just hang. Then I did a full wipe, cache wipe and dalvik wipe and rebooted, still just hanging.
I thought I might have gotten a bad download so I tried MYNs warm 2.2 just in case and the same deal.
Is there something that's done to the phone after CM6.1.1 is installed that prevents a Sense ROM from booting up?
thanks for any help!

No sometimes recovery doesn't wipe everything correctly... downlload caulks format all and then flash sense rom. Should fix your problem!!
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
!!
I think i figured out what the problem is.
I flashed the latest radios, that is, i flashed the leaked ones (ending in .19 i think)
So I don't any of the roms i was trying to flash were compatible with the new radio.
At least that's what I read in some forum.
After nandroid backing and restoring and wiping things multiple times, i'm too lazy to try flashing an older radio so i might just wait till a new ROM based on 3.70 comes out.

radios have nothing to do with it. they base roms off new ota so that you can get the benefits of the changes not the radios. You can flash the original radio that came with the evo and it would not affect the rom. The radio controls your signal strength and wimax strength. which is why there is a thread with all the different radios because each phone reacts different to each radio.....
i tried different roms lately but everyone that i try my phone randomly reboots it self i was wondering could someone please HELP ME
Basic questions.
What ROM are you running now? What kernel?
How do you flash, in recovery or with ROM Manager?
What recovery do you have?

the rom i am currently using is mikG 2.55 and using Freedom0.9 aggressive for my kernel. and i flashed them both with Amon_RA v2.3
what was your method of flashing? did u flash rom, then reboot? Or did u flash both of them @ same time in recovery? give me a run down and i'll see what i can do to help
u prob know all this stuff but sometimes i forget something as simple as wiping diff stuff. Best option might be a fresh install and maybe flashing virus superwipe first.
I disagree with superwipes.
Just go to wipe in Amon RA and wipe every option there is, except SD Card: and Battery Stats, if you're not full ycharged. Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache twice, then flash the ROM, reboot, let it settle for a few minutes, reboot to recovery. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache again, flash the kernel.
Reboot, let it settle a few minutes and start doing your setup
I flashed SNS Gingerbread v1.7,OTA 4.53 Sense to my EVO and the ROM won't start. The phone has been sitting for 2 hours. I only see the black screen with android then somtimes the white htc screen will pop up but the ROM won't start. How long should it take.
Help is appreciated.

have you tried clearing cache in recovery?
if that doesn't work, i would do a wipe and reflash the rom.
I run that ROM with no problems. Try wiping everything (cache data dalvik), and then reflashing the ROM. It's always going to take a little longer to start up the first time, like 5 minutes, but should be faster from there.
Im a little new so thank you for the patience, here is a quick order of how i was taught to flash
wipe data/factory reset twice
wipe cache partition twice
go to advance
wipe dalvik cache twice
wipe battery stats twice
install zip from sd card
choose zip from sd card
then select the rom,
after that the screen has the black background and android then flashs the white background htc,
any corrections you advise are appreciated
Are you using Clockwork or Amon Ra?
If Amon Ra, which I suggest you use, Wipe everything, except SDCard: (And Battery Stats if not fully charged). Everything else gets wiped.
Then flash the ROM and reboot.
Im useing Clockwork, will give it a third try
This time the evo loaded Kings Alliance (which i pulled from backup, previously today)
AKWARD??
Where did you get the ROM from? Possibly a bad zip file. Check the Dev section and download it from there. Then reflash and see how that works.
It probaly was a bad file i flashed a new one so now im working on overclocking thanks everyone
Guys I tried to flash CM 7.1 stable on my girlfriend's defy and on the first try it didn't install correctly the google apps so I had to reflash them again.
Since that moment I couldn't be able to access the rom anymore, it was stuck in boot loop.
So I flashed some sbf's but I was'nt satisfied with any of them so everytime I try to repeat the whole procedure (root, recovery, flash) the CM 7.1 rom that I flash doesn't start, it stops on the CM boot logo.
Today I tried again installing CM starting from a Froyo sbf, but again no success, this time it's stuck on the original motorola logo, not even the CM one.
What can I do? it seems like I'm not able to properly flash a rom anymore, only sbf's work. Thanks!

You should also do a full wipe (data/cache/dalvik/Battery Stats) AFTER applying all the zips.
wipe everything and try
wipe both data/cache and then try
if its for your girlfriend's phone then try cmiui its awesome man.

I successfully loaded the latest Cordroid ROM V4 on HTC One X as far as install goes. However on reboot I get the Sense ring screen which am unable to use before phone reboots.
In a constant boot loop.
Thankfully took a Rom backup prior to install that got me out of trouble.
Anyone else managed to get this to work or is there an error in the Rom or the way I am installing?
Not had issues with previous Roms from Coredroid….
Probably something wrong with your install. Did you wipe dalvik cache, etc.?
Reflash new boot.img.
