Has anyone tried both these Roms, how do they compare in terms of speed and stability?
speed is preety good on both roms only difference is
LeeDRoiD GB is basic GB rom with sense 2.1 and
Insertcoin is GB rom with a combination of Sense2.1 a Sense 3.0..
also RCMIXHD 1.8 GB rom is good it has a slight edge over Insertcoin if your a fancy widgets fanboy..

That's not true. Leedroid uses sense 1.0:

yup, it's based on leaked htc desire rom, so it means android 2.3.3 and standard sense (1.0 or 2.0, i don't know, but certainly no 2.1)
Now i'm running on Reflex S 2.0.9 (Sense 2.1 + sense 3.0, additionally standard theme mod) and it looks pretty cool, but sometimes i want to back to standard sense
If you like stock rom, you should choose leedroid
Leedroid 2.4.1 - more stable and faster
Relfex S - just looks good

Unfortunately no.
"Dear HTC, please give us Sense 2.1"
I have flashed the new leedroid ++ Rom today and I actually prefer it as I find it quicker.
ok can anyone tell which rom is faster??? i think speed is crucial.. right??

Can someone please give me a link for a rom which has HTC sense 3.0 (the one on the sensation) with gingerbread (android 2.3.3) for the HTC desire.
I have tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1038195
LeeDrOiD 3.0.3 but it isn't the sense like it is on the sensation it was the same sense as 2.1 but with a few more widgets.
I know that there is a version for the HTC desire hd but it has an alignment issue and a "watermark" on it. So is there a working version (every day use) for the HTC desire?
There isn't a stable and full functionally sense 2.0 Rom.
But coolexe portet it to the Desire. But many apps are broken and the dimens is wrong...
Here's the link: [ROM ALPHA][Cool Sense 3.0][19 April]Desire Sensation v3 [DEV ONLY]
sense 3.0 in its entirety wont make it to the htc desire becuase of hardware issues, but certain aspects like the sms app, lockscreen, and stuff has already come over. check out the gingerbread 2.3.3 roms with sense 2.1 (and some sense 3.0)
and for the record, sense 3.0 was what was on the sensation, whereas sense 2.1 was on the desire s, and incredible s.
Tks
and i know that it was sense 3.0 on the sensation, but someone told me that LeeDrOiD 3.0.3 was sense 3.0 but i was saying it is more like 2.1 not 3.0
check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016940
I don't think that we will ever have sense 3.0 on the desire entirely, but just bits of it.

There is a great working ROM with sense 3 for desire, in the development area..

Estimated to need a long time to perfect

no, thats a DHD rom, though check out RCMix for the 2.3.3 gingerbread rom, thats good

been looking on the new HTC Desire S but im happy with my Desire and to cheap to buy a new phone...
i do want the new sense and gingerbread in my Desire, been looking at rom´s here and they seem to have sense 3.0 in them...
is there any rom that is only gingerbread and sense 2.1 like the desire s?
Yep!
....
have a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809328
In particular...
This section:
Code:
Sense 1.9/2.1 (GingerBread):

[U]Cool.D.Ginger-------------------------------------->[19th/April]
[U]RCMix S-------------------------------------->[1.4]

[U]InsertCoin CM7/A2SD+ NIGHTLY------------------------->[v30]

Also from reading around your best bets are probably InsertCoin and/or RCMix as they also include bits of Sense 3.0 (from Sensation/Flyer)
yes ive looked there to but they all are based on AceS not the SagaS as in DesireS i tried AceS based rom´s but i think the fonts are to small for the Desire screen...

Believe me if you try insertcoin with 1gb ext4 and cm7 hboot, you will see your phone flying....
sense 3 stuff are no longer problem, unless if you want lockscreen icons

ok, i tried the stock Hboot one... havent figured out how install that custom CM7 thing yet... are there any guides that are written for dumbasses like me?
you need to perform S-OFF procedure (note that in order to S-OFF you cant be using a ROM with scripts like a2sd+ or data2ext or any of these - use stock rooted rom or some aosp rom)
then, when S-OFF you need to download custom hboot from alpharev.nl and flash it. it will change your partition layout which will give you more space and SERIOUSLY speed up the phone.

Hi,
i would just like to get some inputs on what is the most stable and smooth sense 3.5 rom today?
I flashed runnymede 2.1 today and i'm really satisfied with the smoothness. what i really like is the a2sdx script that give me 500+MB internal memory. but i think i can also flash the a2sdx script to other rom.
do you advice to try any other rom like BlissMod007 or Cool3D RunnyMede? or Runnymede all-in-one is better that the other?
Thanks!

For now RunnyMede AIO is the best Sense 3.5 Rom. (in my opinion) Also, I'm not sure that the a2sdx script can be used with other roms, the script writer said that its only for sebastiaan RunnyMede rom.

i have tried it with Coolexe Aces Sense 3.0 for atleast a week without any problem.
Too lazy to figure it out on your own? Or perhaps those countless "OMFG, this ROM ROCKZ" threads ain't enough for their majesty?

I am since yesterday on coolexe's cool3d aces v5 (sense 3.0, stock hboot with 1GB ext4 partition). I have noticed some lagging when having the weather as lock screen and generally some lagging when using the phone. Also another downside is the video recording. It is distorted somehow..:/ does it happen to all 3.0+ sense roms?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
I think people with a decent SD card should go with the AIO rom, otherwise like me just stick with Cool's version, and flash snq's kernel (found in page 1 of sebastiaan's thread)
Hello all,
I want to install custom ROM. Now i am using the stock one. I have tried Oxygen 6 months ago but somehow did not get use to it. I want my new ROM have:
1) Stable and fast
2) FULL RTL support (notifications, gmail, calendar etc...)
3) Good battery life
4) Sense ( may also be without i just don't want to mess with lunchers and milion 3d part programs)
I don't want million build in programs wallpapers, themes etc... In market there is everything i need.
About A2SD or Data++, stock Hboot or modified, ext4 or ext3? i don't know. i need the most reliable solution with maximum memory but without problems in installation of programs ( i heard there is a problem with modified hboot and data++ but there is a solution).
Please advice
Runnymede AIO V5.0.1 Special Edition
It's a SENSE 3.5 ROM and it's full offeatures but u can disable what u want over the install visual platform (chose Cuztumized Install and check/unckeck what u want to install)
It's really amazing how this ROM is running well so far!!!
AIO stands for "All In One." It essentially is a single install, with apps 2 sd, tweaking options and all sense 3.5 bits included. You just flash the Rom and you are good to go.
Definetly Sebs Runnymede AIO 5.0.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1315961) - the best Sense ROM nowdays. If you use CM7r2 HBOOT, you can use AD2SDX script (selectable during instalation) which is imho better then regular APP2SD (I use it and now I have 800MB of free "internal memory").
Personally I've been using This rom since I rooted it. Stable. Pieces of sense 2.1 and 3 in it and generally quite a nice rom
thank you all

Nah, it's perfect irregardless of a not so short list of what's not working.

I would suggest you try tamirda 's RevolutioN 3.0 rom. After that everything else will seem slow to you.
ROM choose
i thought about RevolutioN ROM but i did not figured it out about all the versions and revolution 3d. What is the difference? what is the newest? i read in a hebrew forum that there is revolution v4. is it better? is there problem with overheat?
I wouldn't choose a Sense 3.0/3.5 ROM, if you want maximum Stability try Supernovas ROM, the other Sense 1.9 ROMS or the AOSPs.
If you want a very stable more eye-candy Sense Rom with maybe a bit less speed then the ROMs I mentioned before, try InsertCoin or Revolution. They are 2.1/3.0 Hybrids.
I myself am using InsertCoin for a few months now and havent experienced any failures yet.

Not 3d. Try the normal RevolutioN ROM. Difference: it's faster. Revolution v4: first time I've heard of it...

what about mildfire or miui
Tried Revolution for a month, but found it laggy various places.
I would recommend AN-droid, may only be sense 1.9 (original Desire) but very fast, stable and with apps2sd.

+1 for AN-droid.
For me, Runnymede AIO V5 is not good enough. I tried several version but after 4-5 days, the rom becomes very slow.

Ive been trying different roms on my Desire Bravo, currently running Runny Rom 6.1.1
GB 2.3.5 with Sense 3.5 and loving it.
Been looking for a ROM with some newer siftware maybe 2.3.7 and sense 3.5 or maybe even sense 3.6?
Anyone seen one about?
I've got ICS on my One XL so dont really want to run it on my Desire aswell.

Nope....there are 2.3.5 with sense 3.5 or 2.3.7 without sense.
Yes i noticed that im guessing there a reason for it? Incompatible maybe? Or is there little difference between them? (2.3.5 too 2.3.7)
I ran a ROM of GB 2.3.7 but i much prefer the Sense overlay, especially 3.5!

You gave the answer yourself, you ran a 2.3.7 and you know sense....that's the difference
Yeah Sense is great, is there anyway we can combine 2.3.7 with Sense 3.5?
Install Sense seperate over top of GB2.3.7?
Also it was mentioned that Sense 4.0A could be compatible? Is ther a ROM about yet with that?
You can also use the search button ?! These are very obvious questions....no it can not and the only 4.0 sense rom is under development and not ready for daily use
