So I just found this in the market! I know tons of people have been waiting for this!

ICS Messaging App!
Here is the apk for a dev who wants to try and modify to remove the ads and section for ads. It will not decompile correctly with 2.3.x framework so may require 4.0 framework.
http://db.tt/P96sfM9h
I downloaded it and I see no ads or space for the ads ... hmmm ... maybe cause Im using Adaway?
Once we,get it inverted, it will be tits! Thanks!

Yes that's what I want to do, I would personally use it white as is but want to remove the ads then a light & dark version.

Yes if your ROM or you have an adfree program you will not see the ads but you WILL see the white space on the main message list above the compose and search icons on the bottom bar. That space should be totally gone or transparent.
Checked it out. I thought it would be a nice addition to Overstews ICS Theme but I prefer the ICS version in the theme. Thanks to all who worked on that amazing theme for all their hard work.
Food for thought...

Dam that looks real nice! Is that the one from the thread? How did you get it to decompile correctly or what tools did you use if so. Although that looks like an actual ICS device from the screenshot lol. If you did get it modded please share!
Ok so I got it decompiled with only 1 error but I can't get it to compile correctly. I know where to remove the ads from showing on the list as well as the colors. Hoping I can get it to compile!

Lloir is not the only one who request this theme... Make it TWO!
I've been searching for a Donut/Eclair launcher that works on ICS or even JB for ages.

I personally think that its really cool. Plus, if you are a HTC Veteran (someone who own more than 5 HTC devices) or someone who own early Android version device, you will probably miss its launcher, skin etc.

Hi,
Since I know nothing in theming I have a "little request". I don't want a whole theme but I would just a theme (with vrtheme? So it can be universal) for black background/black pop-up or at least the black pop-up (menu for the system, long press on screen, widget list, and some apps like for the black background). I know some apps uses their own background for example and not the system background but with the link below, actually all my apps have now a black background. I just miss the pop-ups...
I say "at least" because for the black background I use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688896&highlight=black+background but unfortunately the pop-up remains gray
I know there is some themes with black pop-up but these whole themes doesn't suits my needs and I don't know how to edit them to have just what I want...
A "all in one" black background/pop-up would be great
So if someone could do that I would be very grateful
Thanks in advance
EDIT: done by antiochasylum (a big thanks to him)
See the attachment for the vrtheme he did (also posted by him in the second page).

Hi,
I have no doubt about that, therefore I request this to all the themer's
Because I have not any knowledge in this kind of mods... But here some themer's make a hell of a job for a whole theme, that's why I think just a black background/pop-up is softer. Maybe I'm wrong...

Nope, I figured it out. Sadly I cannot get VR theme to work with it, I manually replaced the images.
Do you know how to pull your framework of your current rom and send it to me?
Edit: nevermind, I had a brain fart. Here is the VR theme to black out pop ups and backgrounds.
Let me know if it works, it works on my device.

Thanks again man, I really should look at doing this stuff myself.
Thought I'd add some screen shots. Couldn't think of a way to get a middle pop up though :-/

Re,
antiochasylum, expect a little donation in a few days, I will not forget
All is fine with CheckROM EvoHD V4, just Play Store that has a white pop-up (just need inverted gapps for this if I remember right), other than that it's perfect for all that I have tested. Black bacground and black pop-up this is what I wanted, everything was gray is now black
I love...
Thanks for your work!
Welcome , glad I could help.

Hi,
I'm not sure that it will work on Jelly Bean rom... It's not a whole theme, just black backgrounds and pop-ups. The blue icones from my screenshots come from another mod, just in case
You can try but Nandroid backup first
And just flash it via CMW.
I want to share a theme that I have had on the Play Store for about 5 months now. It was my very first theme taking me about 2 months of work before uploading to the Play Store. Some may like it, some may not. I would like to thank golfslicer for his great framework icons. Screenshots in attachments. Nexified Theme can be found in the Play Store for those who may want to donate. Enjoy.

This is a top theme. It has one problem only: the mobile data indicators are not visible at all.

Here. There should be some kind of indicators to show that data is being up/downloaded, normally in or by the signal bars. If they are there, they are not visible.
Thanks again for the great work.

OP updated with new download link.
Signal indicators might be a bit too small for some.
Let me know.
They are pretty small!
I noticed some of the Power WIdget icons weren't themed. Not a complaint, just for your information - see image.
Edit: Nice wallpaper too.

Nah bro. I WISHHH it was available on TW ROMs, but I live without it. HERE is the AOSP messaging app for TW (DL the TouchWiz one) it doesn't have quick reply, but other than that it's awesome and works fantastic, including MMS!
That really sucks... but thanks for the info and rhe link

I use a combination of amiblindyet's AOSP texting app, which is mentioned 2 posts above, and SMS enhancer. SMS enhancer gives you the quick reply from notifications.

I loved nova too. Unfortunately kevin made it impossible to theme or mod nova by outside devs. So he has turned his back on people that have promoted, used, and modded the app to match full themes. See the nova thread for further explanation... but in the end it comes down to the android community and since he feels that he can't help those that have supported him for years, I can't see myself using his app until it's rectified. Apex is better I believe anyway. Same features as nova without the bad attitude...
