Is it me or Is the recovery and hboot downloads messed up on the wiki? I'm trying to root my replacement phone and this is killing me!

Could be down for maint or something. I grabbed everything for rooting last night no problemo.

Damn, lol. The anticipation is killing me, haha. Oh well, off to bed I go. Hopefully they are up again when I get up. Anyone feel free to test them and let me know.

I cant get into Rev at all, last night it worked perfectly...now its not.....
Are you referring to the site or using the tool? If you are referring to the site if it is acting up it is only natural since all the evo og folk are hammering the site

yes it is back up but you got to expect the hit especially with success stories about how everyone is rooted. You know people sit back and wait for other guinea pigs to try it out first....lol
Yeah, I cannot access the site right now either. I was able to root my EVO, but now i'm trying to root my wifes and I can't without the beta key.

Keep trying occasionally, or try later at night when there is less traffic , don't forget to consider time zones.

Yeah, I am not getting discouraged, I have mine rooted and thats all that counts. I wanted mine rooted for performance reasons, she wants hers rooted for visual reasons lol.
Well I had no other better name to call it, maybe perhaps tyrannosaurs kernel, but the name is moot.
The kernel was too strong and has killed the device. No power, no boot, nothing.
Kernel kill count ~ 4

I don't know if this will work, but in this thread of our forums http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727171 this guy provided a stock unaltered boot.img to flash via odin to help those who flashed a foreign root on their devices. Maybe this will help.. Though I'm not sure if I should be asking if things work anymore.

yeah phone is completely non-responsive, LED wont even light up when plugged into charger. cant boot into download mode or recovery. it seems to be completely bricked. At least on my end

Yea...same here.
Somehow my phone lost root, CWM, and the Blazer rom that was on it in one swift swoop after working great for 6 months.
I need the "E4GT automated rooting package" but the links are down. Can't post in the thread since I don't have over 10 posts so posting here lol. Hopefully someone can help me out or at least let me know of another way to get back CWM on my rooted epic touch 4g (EL29). :fingers-crossed:

Oops, sorry about that I didn't think to check. I've got the autoroot.exe and could put it in my dropbox if you want to download it from there. Should be fairly recent.
That would be awesome. My phone is going back to sprint tomorrow since one of my battery terminals broke and I just want to play with some roms before I pick up the replacement tomorrow lol.

Sorry about that mirror was supposed to have been back up afternoon of the 3rd ended up being about 2 this morning.
I did not realize sfhub was hosting the auto root on my server and or exclusively or I would have been proactive to provide a source.
Thanks for the fix. Got it all downloaded and everything is good.
Now the only problem I have is I can't get the Blazer 4.1 rom now That dl link is down lol

omg i did it one more time for good measure and it said it succeded.. trying to boot now... sitting at spark screen
dunno why it finally worked but it did. phone booted and taking updae now..

i tried to root my razer phone 2 and i ****ed up boot loop fastboot works on the phone im looking for someone that will discord with me i screen share and u tell me what to do.

Im curious though, what was the problem? I pointed him to several instructions including the official razer firmware flash instructions. I felt so bad for him! Nothing I suggested worked!

You had to run the flashing process in couple parts amd let the phone to charge.
