I recently started using Miren browser. I am liking it so far, but I cant figure out where to see my stored passwords. I recently changed a password, but when I go to that page it still brings up my old login info. I cant figure out how to change it without erasing all of my stored passwords.
Thanks for this find. I like this browser a lot!! I will try to figure the password thing for you.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anybody knew of an app that would switch the user agent of the browser depending on the type of data you're receiving? For instance, any pages rendered whilst you're on 3G or HSPA+ would pull up full experience desktop pages while if you were on Edge, you'd be automatically redirected to the less data-intensive mobile page?
If this were baked into some alternative browser that would be awesome to know too.
Thanks in advance guys
Well it doesnt go by the moobile connection your on but dolphin browser gives you the ability to switch between different user agents... (Plus wouldnt that be annoying if you were in an area with inconsistent coverage?)

Miren browser is the best to quickly switch user agent.

I know there are some apps that let you work on your text messages and edit your contacts, but is there an app that gives you full control of your phone from your pc with a full view of your phone screen? Back in my Winmo days there was an app that did just that but I can't remember the name.
Is there no such app on Android?

Try PicMe. It lets you view and control your EVO through your browser with a custom IP that the app gives you. I haven't messed with it for a while, I remember it not being very good but it's free so you can't complain.
Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Kinda slow but it works. Anything else?

See if the browser you use has a 'User Agent' option, if it does, change it to desktop or something. that will disable mobile veiw.
-Nipqer
It just use almost any third party browser, they pretty much all have that option
I use skyfire, and they have the option to change right in the toolbar.
Most every non-stock browser (Firefox, Miren, Dolphin, Opera, etc.) has the option built in to set the User Agent string to desktop.
The sense browser won't work on non-sense phones.

Skyfire is a good choice for you because its default is NOT mobile view, so you would not have to change anything, just install it from market
@moderator: I have a little trouble for sign-in using 'quick' sign-in form in the top right corner. This sign-in form always resulting invalid password. I must sign-in from http://forum.xda-developers.com/usercp.php I just realize the sign-in problem today.
Thank You
Is your browser set to remember passwords? Maybe clear that from your browser and retry, I don't see you can log on to the site from page within XDA. Clear cache of browser to include saved passwords. But you say you have to user control panel to log in...
Here is the XDA contact, see if a better solution is avail. http://www.xda-developers.com/contact/
Hmm weird... like you said its likely a browser problem. Trying with another browser and pc and everything works. Sorry for inconvenience.

I'm just telling you the root of the problem. It could potentially happen in another browser too if you by accident save wrong password.

The Rogers version of the Galaxy Note II , SGH-I317M , comes preloaded with a number of bookmarks in the Internet browser.
Those bookmarks are locked, they can not be deleted , put in a folder or even moved in the bookmark list.
Anyhow, found a tip that deleted them...
(It also deletes your bookmarks, and resets all browser settings at a minimum)
Settings / Storage / Applications / All
Find Internet then Force Stop , Clear Cache, Clear data
Not sure of everything it does, but it reset all the browser's settings back to default and wiped all bookmarks, mine and Rogers.
They were replaced with a few standard ones like Google, Facebook, etc, but those can be deleted or moved.
Note the original data file was 27MB , after the process and restarting the browser the data file was only 1.1MB,
so not sure what was in it originally but the browser seems back to normal once I reset my options.
Worked on att note

Thanks, this works on T Mobile GN2
Does anyone know how to remove the "other bookmarks" envelope under your email?
I was playing around with Kies Air the other day and was able to delete the "permanent bookmarks" one-by-one by browsing the phone from my laptop, without needing to erase settings, cache, etc.
Thanks worked with a verizon note 2
