One question (and i don´t think this is for q&a thread...because i need the feedback from rom devs)
Is it possible to have the new kingdom or sense 3 lockscreen in classic sense v1 roms...???!?
I ask because we know sense 1 is much faster as any hd (ace) version...and i think this lockscreen is so good...its one of the things i have on my "dream" list
I ask not for the photo or weather lockscreen..only for the lockscreen with the symbols (so i or we don´t need the select menu)

I dropped the htclockscreen apk from the kingdom rom into the 'official' gb desire leak and it worked fine. Never tried it with froyo.
From memory music and call stuff appeared on the screen.

what did you directly...make a update.zip or just install it...and only the lockscreen.apk ..?!?

if i make a simple update.zip i have the classic aosp-google lockscreen..?!!!!?
i take the lockscreen from cool kingdom port or from kingdom port from seo...mmhh..what file you take..?
I can not install only over zip

just deleted the htclockscreen.apk from the gb sense rom using winrar then replaced it with the one I extracted from the kingdom rom. flashed the gb sense rom and voila! it was there.

Yep - no problem. I'm at work at the moment but will do it when I get home tonight.
I think it was this one @Alex-V, although it seems like about 50 rom flashes ago, so I can't be 100% sure.

Have you tried restarting Desire?
Several times but same thing...
Beside that everything goes smooth. I mean, it runs very very fast.
I have more than 250mb free ram

I think this Firmware is without HTC Sense

Yes and if Rosie.apk is there Sense MUST be installed!

i dont have Launcher2.apk and Launcher2.odex
can't find in /system/app/
btw: where to find logcat ?
go to settings, applications, application manager. Then look for sense there, open it and press remove default!
Should work. else look if there is any other "launcher" app there and go into that one and remove default!

what you mean...answer a call sms..?
if you mean a call...use a rom without sense...or maybe with sense but with google contacts and phone apk

Yes i mean a call..... i want sense for fmradio and camera but i love the answer mode to call........ of the stock.
I have rom of Adamg official froyo htc sense and i have delete htclockscreen.apk for stock locckscreen.......
I have only phone.apk
Now i have extract contacts.apk from rom opendesire........... TEST it

why don´t you try leedroid or pays rom...i think they have google contacts and phone apk...but are sense

I have delete: HTCdialer.apk,HTCcontacts.apk...
Installed contacts.apk and reboot
After reboot i have already the same file...
Now i modify the update.zip and reflash the rom
I use ofhs because the battery is very long for me.........
i try now the second solution
P.S. nothing, i have put in the rom.zip the 2 file phone.apk and contact.apk, but i haven't solved.....

Have seen stock downloads available in the EVO 4G section but don't know if that would be compatible with the DHD? Can someone link me or attach it here?
Yes I have searched all over Google and cant find a copy at all. Only mentions are either how to delete or change for standard FroYo screen or change to custom...

I'm confused, please clarify. you have a Desire HD with Froyo / Gingerbread (you never did say) that has stock 2.1 sense on it but you want the lockscreen.apk from the very same?

FroYo (as it came out the shop) lol yes the htclockscreen.apk because I deleted it to change to the AOSP Froyo lockscreen but it no longer fits with what I'm after. Its the only thing I've forgotten to backup before changing.

Ahhh, gotcha. Makes perfect sense (no pun) now.
Sorry, had a quick look but it's all about GB now...
Now Gingerbread has been released, will you be updating to that? Have you sen the new Sense 3.0 lockscreen, that' looks good and is available.
Finally got it by ripping it from Raidroids supplied stock rom list. Taken from the deodexed version:

its just an apk file so just install then go to:
-system setting
-language & input
-and mark the tick box for HTC_IME mod
-then under the default keyboard also select HTC_IME mod
much larger keyboard enjoy
1st attachment is cm7 compatible htc stock
2nd attachment is cm9/aokp compatible, but may also work for cm7 not tested
update 17th may
added themed google cm7 keyboard in 3rd attachment enjoy
added themed gold & droid keyboard in 4th attachment
Update 18th May
added Green Droid theme in 5th attachment
added Red & White theme in 6th attachment
Update 15th June
added Pink Lady theme in 7th attachment
Themed keyboards are cm7 only!

Really not sure, I installed it and kept it on phone memory not SD.
Also I'm NOT using any sd partitions eg. Data2sd apps2sd etc maybe that has an effect.

About the white line over letters? It's unlikely. It just appears on the letters on top two rows, this is interesting. I'm running latest nightly CM7 by alquez.
Edit: I just noticed that the image doesn't show up on my earlier post so here it comes.

Nope!!!!!
Do not delete main files.
Delete all widgets about 10 of them.
Delete lwp apps.
Delete teeter,mail,fb,twitter,flicker,stocks,maps,youtube and/or replace them.
Delete rosie bt make sure u replace it.
Keep one ringtone and notification tone and move the rest to sdcard/ringtone or sdcard/notification
Nvr delete contacts phone sync bt settings and such apps. System will crash

or install rom called stock mod. major of sense removed and works well. i had it installed a few weeks ago

Kylon did create a zip file which lets u delete sense stuff and it worked perfect
