How to add percentage battery icon

Hi
I'd like a mod for a stock JVS to get just the battery % icon and nothing else.
There are mods with this but with a bunch of things I don't want.
I read some time ago that for getting the % you have to modify some xml files in framework and add some png.
Can someone tell me exactly what this files are?
If anyone has a mod doing just that it will work too.

I would also like to know about this? Is it possible to just get the battery percentage without having to flash a new custom rom?

Please, take a look at that!

Or, if you wanted you could get super status bar from the market for free. It gives you a new status bar/notifacation bar. It doesn't do anything to your phone because it doesn't require root but its really good. And of course you can customize it so it has battery % in the battery icon.

Did you get it to work mate? I tried to cook up my own and then flash it, but when I rebooted my phone, it kept looping over the Samsung Galaxy S screen (it didn't make it to the boot animation).

done that mate, there are only battery percentages WITH icon, but i dont want an indicator like that, just the percentage like this for example: 100% and not the battery icon, like in EDT tweaks(if you know that)..

Unless you can find some images that have been modded to just show the number then you might be out of luck, or you could edit the 100+ images yourself.

hi. where can i find a different signal strenght icon mod? the stock one is fairly lame.
downloaded a new batt. and alarm mod from elsewhere on this forum, and they look great. not everyone wants to flash a different rom just to get a different looking icon. where are all these little mods kept? there must be hundereds.

Do you mean a theme?

Themed mods are in themed section but there are no individual flash able single icons .

You want a signal icon .
I said and i shall make it easier to understand that there is not a repository of single flashable icons .
Someone will modify stuff and make a flash able theme or stuff like a battery icon .
Or you modify it yourself in the custom rom .

Could anyone take this app, decompile, get the png's, and then make a flashable that makes them our actual battery indicator?
I'd be extremely grateful plus I can see this particular battery indicator becoming very popular.

I'm not real sure what you're asking here because the widget does work. Are you talking about using the circle battery for your status bar battery?

Sorry if I was unclear. Yes, that's exactly what I meant. There is also a notification version of it so it should probably be easy to port.
I'll take a look at apkmanager and try my hand at a port as it's probably just a bunch of .png's in systemui.apk.

Hmm, i think i can do that.

If that's what you're looking to do, just use ZipThemer and apply the mod. It'll work on any ROM.

this will replace the original battery, i guess he want to change the second battery in CM10.

Tryed to apply your mod but notification bar and control disappeared. Recovered from backup.
Tryed to apply 28660-mod-411-jelly-bean-circle-battery-mod/ and it have issues with the clock, the battery mod seems to work ok ...

I successfully flashed the mod on cm10 skank, the only problem is that now I have the percentage twice - any chance to fix that? Thanks!
