I hope to get an accurate answer because I'm about to order it
Thanks!

P.S:
Good news: I found the one that would work as an external battery for the Xoom.
It has a 12v/1.5A output and looks to have the same tip of our xoom charger!

To be honest I don't see a small enough pin there.

Motorola isn't even listed. Etc. Doesn't always mean it'll be included.
You DO see it puts out 16-19 volts, right?
IOW, don't buy it.
I have yet to find an extended battery that works with the Xoom, either the pin connector is too big or the output voltage is too low, I have bought these and they dont work either so I doubt the one you listed will

The weird thing is that I saw the same device on other website which has a pin in the old nokia chargers size .. the pin may be not included but you may need to buy it separately!

FYI, the device is listed on different websites and sometimes they mention Motorola and sometime they not .. it's not our issue since this is considered as a universal external battery.

The thing is .. if it could charge the hucking laptops and even cellphones then why it wouldn't work for our xoom?
I mean isn't there a way to convert the 16v into 12v ??

The ones you've listed are usb based output which barely gives 5v and we indeed need 12v.. but the one that I asked about could provide 16 to 19 volts and that's the difference.
I hope we find an external battery for our Xooms .. cuz I'm working on a project for the xoom that needs an external battery (hint: hand made keyboard docking such as the transformer )

Not efficiently at the 18W that's needed to fully replicate the charger. Plus that, I suspect the charging plug sets the output voltage (kind of like what the Kensington chargers do).

Hi, I have a great external battery pack, a Tecknet IEP390. It's rated at 11000 mAh so should be able to pretty much charge the Note 10.1 from flat.
I realise that I need an adapter to make this happen as the battery only outputs 5v at 1A. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as I've been searching for ages with no luck? Would need to be a UK supplier.
Thanks.

I have searched and not found a single UK based seller selling those, lots of them from HK etc.
I use an IMP70D from here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/IMP70D-External-Sensation-Thunderbolt-Blackberry/dp/B004UN3N0W and can check it it charges the Note without an adapter as it has a 2.1A output.
Thanks very much for looking. I didn't really want to run to the expense of another charger (but I'll look at this one if I do).
Just so I know what I'm looking at could you point me at one of the HK sellers' adapters please? Ordered one and want to check I've got the right idea. Cheers.

Did you read the rest of the thread? You also need the adapter as Samsung has a special pin layout that prevents any non-Samsung chargers from charging the Tab/ Note.
I'm looking for a desktop charger that will charge my S3 and also charge a spare batter? Does such a thing exist?

If that's a universal charger with movable connectors, don't get that. It wont charge your battery to 100% and might mess up your connectors on your battery.

both chargers above have an extra USB port...so you can connect a USB cable from the charger to the phone while a spare battery is charging..

There is also this one from Kidigi as well.
It features dock/sync mode button, audio out via usb.
It has a bit less physical support but both Jeurum_92's suggestion and this one have a removable insert to help accommodate a case. It's also a bit more $$$.

Yes, it has an insert wich you can remove so if you have a slim case it will fit
Looks like you need to use a USB Mini cable and not the cable it's supplied with to get both to charge at the same time though.

There is a company called EverDock that was on KickStarter, it features a DOCK where you can switch the plug from forward or reverse, plus you can either use it for Iphone, Ipad, Android Mini USB. There is also a dock they sell that allows two devices to be charged at one time. Here is a link

Any docks made specifically for OPO?
That would be awesome. Been looking for that.
An ideal one would be made out of bamboo, and with bamboo back cover...
I really dunno if this works, but I found a suggestion in another forum: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/ there I was told this works with the OPO, too.

That one breaks really easily. I've gone through 2 already (removing the phone from the dock eventually breaks the pegs that holds the cable in place).
I ordered this one and like it so far: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009L6AHLQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Can you tell me what exactly breaks on this docking station? which pegs? why at the cable? the cable is on the backside, how does something break there when the phone is being removed?
BTW, stations for the HTC One M8 should be compatible I was told. Has anyone experiences with this?
could this be an alternative?
http://www.amazon.de/Emartbuy®-Funktion-kompatibel-Docking-Ladegerät/dp/B00KC0X98I
or such a universal usb docking station - as long as the usb plug has the right direction?
like http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00JFLV3KG/ref=nosim/andrhilfdeand-21 or http://www.ebay.de/itm/Universal-Do...e-Nexus-5-HTC-Desire-S-Desire-Z-/400802464581
Or is there more to watch out like angle of the plug or the distance to the backside?

it looks like the one from above: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/
but I am not sure: where does the phone have íts secure stand? Is the phone held by the usb connector only? My last shown examples above have a higher back, which can hold the phone very secure and protect the usb connector against the pressure when using the phone in the dock.
Check out the Lambda-Dock. The connector can be turned and its produced in germany...

Anyone know of a app that works on the G3 to show the actual charging current the phone is receiving/using? There was one that worked on my last phone, the S4, but it nor any others that I've tried work. Just seeing if anyone has come across one that does work.
Try this one mate i had to press refresh a couple of times though to get it to register.

Tried that one and I don't trust the results. Every second the mA are drastically changing from 1mA to 950mA while it's plugged in. To my understanding it should be staying around a mA and not jumping all over.

Anyway is there an actual day to tell how much current it's drawing? Also I know the SD801 is QC 2.0 compatible, but do we need a software update to utilize a QC 2.0 charger the way it's intended?

Don't know, yet. On the SGS4 the Charging Current app worked quite well, haven't found anything so far for the G3 which is as accurate/at all.
I've read, don't remember where, that LG's way of charging differs from Quals and other manufacturers standards on the hardware level. So the G3 wouldn't be able to use the Quick Charge even with some software change. I've tried that Galaxy Current app and that reports negative mA when charging on the G3 so that's also a no go.

It's a baked in feature of the SD 800/801/805 chips so I don't know if they could disable it. I really hope it's still there just in case I need to use it (even though I have a spare battery). Is there anyway to know for sure?
