I just received the Black/Grey Ballistic in the mail 2 days ago. It is pretty impressive compared to the Defender, but its just too large for me. I don't need that much protection. If anyone wants to take if off my hands PM me. It's still in the retail packaging and the protective film is still in tact. I'll do $30 shipped which I think is the cheapest you can find it. If you see it cheaper let me know and I'll beat it. Also, I go to the post office every day at 5:30 CST so if you pay before then it will ship the same day.

I forgot I posted this on here. I still have this available if anyone wants it. I'll make sure I remember to check my PM's.

MFIT leather case / stand

I've just ordered one of these and couldn't see it mentioned in the other case threads. I'm not sure how long delivery will be but I'll post an update when it arrives.

I have the mfit leather case without the cover. Just received it two Weeks ago. It looks nice as it is, but the seller is a ****ing retarded one. i ordered the one with cover, but he sent me the one without the cover. And he refused to refund or exchange since it cost too much for him for international shipping..... Wtf?
So i only tried it once, and it is only sitting in my drawer since i already have the carbon fiber skin on my note. No reason to put the case without the cover on the skin... Sigh... I have paid over sixty five fit the item plus shipping from south Korea.
If you are going to order one from south Korea like i did, i strongly suggest not to do so since The seller is a **** head.(the mfit main distributor)
I'm not saying the product is bad at all, but the seller might send you the wrong item and will refuse to take any action fir that just like he did to me...

I have one of this. The case is kind of loose to fit the phone. My galaxy note slipped out of the case onetime when walked in my house. I am lucky that my house has carpet covered...

Seidio Active with extended battery

Has anyone tried it? I've googled with no answers. Just placed the order for my phone last night and ordered the case. From what I read the 2000mah will fit but the 2100mah has mixed answers? What are the difference in the two? Manufacturers? I can't seem to find the 2000. Appreciate any help guys! Looking foreward to getting this beast in and dripping the thunderbolt.

it works just fine with the battery and the extended cover on. it's the case i'm currently using since it's one of the few with a holster.

Since you're using the TBolt, I'm assuming that you'll replacing it with the VZW equivalent (which is what I did). I posted pics in the Case Wiki thread with regard to the fit and finish of the Active on my GNex with the Extended back.
It's one of the best fitting case I have, outside of the Diztronic case.

VZW sells the 2000 + a new cover. It's a Samsung battery with the NFC antenna. When installed, it's impossible to tell the difference between it and the stock battery. They've had it on sale for $25 online for a while now with free shipping. I highly recommend this battery; the phone should've shipped with it...

Otterbox

Not sure what I was thinking, but I ordered the otterbox today. I had one from when the tbolt came out and I remember I wasn't impressed. My thinking is I won't be getting a new phone for a while so I need some protection. Anyone else use it?

I have been using the Otterbox since I got my phone and love it. It has saved the phone on many occations. I finally broke the belt clip this past weekend, and just ordered another one!

Did you contact Otterbox? I am sure they would have sent you another free of charge or just for shipping costs.

I'm with you. I'm surprised there aren't the usual $5 TPU cases on eBay even that I always find when a new device comes out. I always tend to use something like that for the 1st few weeks/months until better options come out. But I cannot find anything worth buying that available locally or online and actually in stock and shipping now.

I ordered the official Asus travel case and its on a UPS truck to me right now. I am only planning on using it until better cases are available, since it apparently is not very good.

My girlfriend is going to France for three weeks on the 4th and is going to take the Nexus with here, there's no way I'm letting her take it without a case and screen protector. So, I ordered the SUPCASE Folio case yesterday, I didn't notice that it says "Usually ships within 4 to 5 days." Expected ship date isn't until Monday, the day after she leaves and I can't easily cancel the order, so I sent them an email saying that unless they can ship it ASAP, I want the order canceled. I already have a Poetic case ($3.95, free shipping) ordered that's not shipping until the 9th, I wouldn't have ordered a second case unless I needed it sooner, so I put in an order for the i-Blason case. None of the cases are Prime eligible, so hopefully I can get that shipped before Saturday... and hopefully I don't end up with three cases.

I think it's going to be hard to find any good cases shipping now. I'm guessing these third party manufacturers did not get any early access to the device, so they're designing and mass manufacturing the cases as we speak. If anything I'd be weary of buying any case that actually is shipping now as it's probably a rush job and won't fit the device perfect. Just my 2 cents.

I first got me a 7" tablet sleeve from Dollartree but went into 5Below yesterdya and I got a generic 7" folio that fits the new nexus pretty good for $5.
I also saw some cheap tablet sleeves/cases at BigLots.
It will do the trick until my Moko and TPU hardshell case get here.
