INDIGO_lite&full [08.07.2007 released]

I want to say that this rom isn't unusual and perfect. It's a common custom rom (based on latest ANZ rom) that was recooked by me.
Full version will be uploaded on monday.
There is some info about Lite version
-It's a vanilla version with 60 Mb of free Storage
Removed:
* SQM
* Catalog
* DRM
* Almost all rings
* Some pictures
* All OEM soft (exept MMS)
-There is ~30 Mb of free memory at start
-Some apps were skinned in TouchStyle (Commanager / WMP / DialPad - portrait only)
-Commanager has 9 big buttons (beam and 3g button are also included). Probably, I'll make 12 buttons commanager in touch style and include it in Full version
-If u doesn't want to have touchSkin in WMP, just try to select other skin and u will get default skin
-I included new Fexplorer with mine icons. Old Fexploer is also in rom (look for bexplorer.exe). BTFTP doesn't work with new explorer but i changed btftpclient and now it opens old fexplorer and works well (i'll include it in full version).
-I included HeadPhone Equlaiser. It really works with trin and improve audio quality in wire headphone
-All today plugins will be hidden after customisation . Go to settings and check what do u want to show
-I also include a link to WirelessManager (it seems like simple Commanager that's why it's quiker and usefull)
-[!] If u want to use TFLO (with button) you should asociate shotrcut for it in Settings-Buttons
-[!] Music tab was asociated with WMP. If u want to use AudioManager instead - just set this reg entry:
/(will be added soon/ or just use search and find the answer on xda)/
-[!] If u wont use ButtonFLO u should delete biotouch.lnk from startup
-some other info will be added soon..quite busy now, sory
-etc.
[!] For prevent password and account dissapearing u should (you should make this procedure immidiatly after first soft reset ):
1. Set up your connection settings
2. Open IExplorer / Set up Ineternet connection / Open some internet page
3. Click Disconnect button to close internet connection
4. Hold power button and turn off your phone
5. Power on your phone.
After that procedure your password wont dissapear. I think that you should repeat the same for mail account (set up mail account / try to send or recieve your mail / hold disconnect button / turn off your phone)

Btw, it's just effect of indigo theme. If u want to have gleam effect on both bars just use another theme

i ask because using the lite version everyone can configure the device just like he wants...
I really love the idea of a lite and a bunch of cabs of my choice... no "trash"...

Oh please, I'd like to have the full version ROM for the lazy ppl like myself, even though I may not use all programs in the ROM. But it would just save my time for intalling all other programs that I do use.
So please do release the full version ROM, mUn.....

Is the Kaiser Home plugin in 6 buttoms, as indicated in your other posts?

Thanks Mun for releasing this ROM. I've been using it for a couple of hours, and i'm really satisfied. The ROM is very fast and very clean, letting us customize it the way we want.
The Kaiser Home Plug-in works PERFECTLY on this ROM, which makes it a complete ROM.

I believe this is a developer tool, ie netcf library for use with visual studio or similar program. This should enable developers to make applications universal to all resolutions that will flow nicely with manila interface. Very interested to see, as I am trying to learn a bit of programming myself. For resizing new packages that use xml I suggest programatix' xmlgui tool
cant wait to see some applications developed or updated with this. if it is easy enough to use, I would love to make some to replace some of the custom mortscripts that I am using in my ROMs now

I noticed the rate it which it scrolls though is very slow on my Omnia. Is this something that will be corrected?

Really weel done! But there is some work left to do...
I tried the Checkbox button. The text entered int the text property isn't displayed eihter in design mode or runtime mode,
Furhtermore, the control looks ok as long as the backgrounde is white, but not as goowd when (as in my case) having a background whit another color or a picture.

Welcome to .NET You'll need to override your OnPaint method to get semi-decent background images without either flicker or that white you're seeing. Another thing which MS will take years to implement no doubt.

During I use my Blackstone with 3 languages... I found my phone has too many SIP Input. Too many SIP can make you tired of choosing SIP. so wanted to find a way to make those SIP I don't usualy use disappear away. That's the idea why i made this tool.... This tool will configure your Phone not to see some of the SIP Programs you dont often use as a SIP program (But, don't worry, it still is in your PPC). You can also use this tool to change SIP name as you like ! ^^
I later have found that the more SIP you use, your PPC would very much likely to get HANK and you have to press the reset button! SO, the more you hide your SIP it would help you PPC work smoother!

PS. I found that for those who use BlackStone, may find this error.
It is the error that you can not Disable those SIPs come witht the official ROMs, you can avoid this error by try not to cast way THOSE 3 SIPs, Which are...
1. Phone Keyboard
2. Compact QWERTY
3. Full QWERTY
These 3 keyboard should be left enabled to avoid the error as shown.

Hahaha, sorry miss read. Well, I never tried it on Kaiser. but I test it on an Emulater which is WM6, so i think if your Kaiser is WM6 should be working just fine!

I'm using v1.4 on my HTC Touch Pro and it seems there's a bug, when i click on any of the options, the previous screen won't go away, it stays there.
I.e, you have a list of options to choose from, when you click any one of them, it brings you to another new screen showing you the list of options under the category you chose, but the category lists is still there and doesn't go away, so you basically have one overlapping the other.....

This looks useful...

I never heard or saw the case.... well, try and check your .net Frame work on your mobile. If it was version 3.5. It should be fine.

When I run v1.4 I receive an error message "Resource file 'Microsoft.VisualBasic resources' not found.
I am running WinMo 6.5 on an HTC S523 aka Snap with a standard ROM.
Any information on how to rectify this error would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a long time I've not logged in to to this forums! ^^ sorry if my answer is a bit late. I design this software on HTC Touch HD with Windows Mobile 6.1. So it might be problem running with Windows Mobile 6.5. and as you told about the error, I think you'll need the .net framework compact edition install onto your PPC.
I highly recommend to use with HTC Touch HD Windows Mobile 6.1 for best result.

[APP] Xperia X2 taskmanager for WM 6.5.x (WVGA)

Hi,
I posted this on the HD2/Leo forum a while ago, but I thought it could be usefull for other devices as well.
I modified a dump of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 taskmanager a bit so that it can run on top of windows mobile 6.5.x builds (the builds with the start button at the bottom).
Operation:
- Tapping and holding the clock will close the active application.
- Tap on the clock in the home screen (mostly Sense) will show a list of running applications.
- Tap and hold any item on the list of running applications in the taskmanager will give you the option to close all running apps.

This version will not be overidden by the notification window when tapping the clock, which is the case with some x2 taskmanager floating around.

It works on vga. Except that I have sometimes troubles to activate it...

The whole idea of modifying the X2 taksmanager for WM 6.5.3/5 was to get rid of that thing you're pointing to. I've checked the cabs and you really shouldn't get that icon. Maybe you've installed another version (the WM 6.5 version)?
Anyway to get rid of that thing fire up a registry editor and set HKCU/Software/SonyEricsson/TaskmanagerQuickWindow/Options/TaskbarIconBottomIndent to 50 (dec).
(But it's better to deinstall the version you've installed and install the above version, because the versions floating around replace a dll that is part of the core system. And that is not necessary).

I don't really understand you. I think you're saying:
a) you want the bottom x button to close an application instead of minimizing it (I think you can change that somewhere in the system settings)
b) you want to close an app by just tapping on the clock instead of to tap-and-hold it.
c) neither
I like option b. It's nice to minimize by tapping on the bottom x and closing an app. by just tapping on the clock. I will look into that. Maybe the default behavior can be changed. Maybe not though

Hmmm. V2 doesn't seem to bring up the task list when I'm just using the stock Microsoft today screen. It just drops down the top curtain...
I'm about to try V1 & see if it works.
Or does this pretty much require you to have the Sense/Manila UI running in order to use it?

are you restarted your device after installed because mine works fine with 28205 build or launch it manually in program files

Hi, I did have some issues myself with the cab installation with custom roms. It's a weird thing, but on some roms the registry isn't updated as it is supposed to do. I don't have a workaround for this, but try to install the file again next time you flash a new rom.

I installed the V1 edition & that worked, so I uninstalled that, reinstalled V2, & then it started working with that one as well.
At least it's working now though.

Thanks may give it a go, as I find the Touch X & Dutty TM's I've tried on my Leo a bit un-responsive. I have one question though, I don't have the clock visable in the top right corner (don't see the point of it - but that's just me), if I install your TM will there actually be an Icon representing the TM there? If not is there a way to enable it?

What will these do?
These panels will convert various home interfaces into panel.
What are benefits of using these?
There are 2 major benefits:
Easy changing between interfaces
Better performance and stability of device because you have only one interface loaded at a time.
These panels need appropriate software to run. For example you need to have SPB mobile shell installed to use SPB panel. Here are the links to find it:
TouchFLO3D: DOWNLOAD
Sense: Only cooked in ROMs. Find ROM that have it.
Titanium: Preinstalled in WM 6.5
SPB Mobile Shell: INFO & BUY / TRIAL
Androkkid: DOWNLOAD
iFonz 2: DOWNLOAD
Infinity: DOWNLOAD
How to install it?

Download these files
Copy them to device
Open files with file manager and install
Do i need to install all of them?
No, you don't have to install all of them (for example don't install spb panel if you don't use spb mobile shell).
To get best results, disable auto startup of every "paneled" interface:
Before changing these, is recommended switch to today panel.
Sense/TouchFlo3D: Go to today settings and uncheck "TouchFLO3D" and/or "Sense"
Titanium: Go to today settings and uncheck "Windows Default"
SPB Mobile Shell: Browse to \Windows\Startup with file explorer and delete SpbMobileShell file
Androkkid:Go to Androkkid settings and uncheck "Start with Windows"
iFonz 2:Go to iFonz 2 settings and uncheck "Start with Windows"
What is NewSensePanel?
This is new experimental panel that uses pure panel manager without any extra apps to launch sense. We could even say that this is actual sense panel and not panel launcher.
NewSensePanel is runnning directly in panel manager, which makes switching very smooth and fast. While normal SensePanel closes panel manager and uses standard today screen,which will minimalize problems, but switching will be little slower. Decide for yourself
You need .NET Compact Framework to run these panels
Post request in this thread, if you wish panel for another interface.
If you are using infinity panel, exit infinity before switching to another panel. Closing mechanism is currently broken.

I recommend you turn titanium and touchflo3d/sense off in today settings before trying this.

im surprized theres not not more responses on this....I thought alot of people were looking for it...this might make me reinstall panelmanager!

Edit: Just installed everything and it works perfectly! Oh and when you install the NewSensePanel you can have Titanium on your today screen and Sense on a seperate panel, so you don't need to install the separate titanium panel launcher anymore. I am very happy with this

Just tried... is just me or its not automatic run current panel at startup?

Panel manager runs today panel at startup. I remember seing app to change that, but i dont remember where.

Some problems will fix by using SensePanel (not New) but the New one is more developed))
it works with all versions of Mobile Shell ever made and the WindowsTitaniumInterface is as functional as it is staying on the Today Screen)

Hey, u can search it on the forum topics (it has a name TouchHDfull.cab or something that sounds like this) it is a panel for xperia
mb the original Sense.cab from the ROM with it is already posted, I dont know

SensePanel (not New) is not getting less developed. Maybe i didnt hit the name, AltSensePanel would be better i think. These panels are both having advantages and disadvantages. SensePanel closes down panel manager and launches sense its in native enviroment (today screen) while in NewSensePanel panelmanager manages sense, which means its run on panel instead of today screen.
ACtually if one is getting less developed, it will be NewSensePanel, because there is not much to do. Sense is launched and managed directly from panel manager without any external apps.
