Has anyone been able to make a Droid Charge Boot Animation for our EPIC ? ( I did not see an answer when I did search )

Just making a suggestion / request .... you never know when someone who you know knows someone who knows someone who knows the person who can make it happen

I'll port it over if I get a chance today. But it will only be for EC05 or Froyo based ROM and we don't have custom kernels for Gingerbread yet.

Guys after some research it doesn't seem likely at the moment. I have the animation but it's in .qmg format and I have no way of editing that type of file.

the viper 4.04 rom had something close to this. When the phone is on stock doesnt have a qmg file already. maybe we can just put it in there. or maybe if its on stock use like root explorer and delete ours and put theres in. I do that with swipe. but i dont know alot about this stuff i spend about 90 mins a day playing with the pictures in the drawable folder. still cant do png.9. but not to worried. apkmanger doesnt work for me either. One day I will figure this all out. Hell maybe even make a rom or 2. does any one know how to convert .raw files i found the sounds. but cant listen or anything.

Ahh yes, I just read further down the post I found the apk from... Seems to not be working with Gingerbread... I will see if I can find you a fix.

i would be gratefull.. once i dumped my worthless bb....i went with the evo as teh only draw to the epic was a live wallpaper and that was not enough for for me...but do love that wall papper..

becareful with live walls as they will drain yah batt! imo!

[Q] Shootme gone? Just shoot me

Just rooted my HTC EVO 4G last night and one of the apps I was going to load today was shootme, the screen capture app. Searched for it in the market and generally on google and it seems to be gone. Anyone else have this same result, or is it just a temporary glitch w/the market?

How odd. Yup its totally off the market. Was it a paid app? If not I can up it for you.

Edit: It most certainly isn't there. I long-held on shootme and hit market and it said no results.

follow the quote from shortydoggg and put the file in the root directory of your SD card > unmount sd IE unplug your cable then open Astro and scroll the the APK and install

Galaxy Nexus theme

So was just watching a video from Sassi Bob on here and it looked like she was using the T-Mobile GSII and it appeared to have the Nexus Prime theme. Had anyone else seen this or checked this out? It looked pretty cool for the limited time that I saw it.

i'm using it on my Nexus S
it looks like the real deal without having ICS installed
it's a full theme, colors, animations, everything!
there's the extra wall papers and icons you can download from his topic, to make it even more complete, if you use 3rd party launchers

Wait, won't we need CM7 running on our devices for this to work? Or will this work on the stock ROM with root?
I've only had the phone for 24 hours but from what I've read we still don't have a CM7 ROM ported for this particular device yet. Am I wrong?

Im gonna port it to work on a stock rooted rom of your choice. It wont be cm7 but will look like it.

Don't try this at home, kids. I just wanted to get this out there, if we could design an app to run out of here....

Every time I flash an aosp ics rom, it basically does the same thing after I sign into Gmail. All the play store apps are installed after 30 min and I just do a multi file copy and paste for all my non officiall apps.

A) How long was my video?
B) Google restore has always been unreliable for me, works sometimes, doesn't others, and I really, reeeeaaaally don't want EVERY APP I ever installed....
C) At this point I see this more as a backup plan. No hassling with titanium making sure no cross-data makes it through, If I ever get bootlooped, I don't have to have to mess with CWM at all.
D) The PreLoader has a separate partition from system, it is also somewhat protected. I don't exactly know how, that's why I insist people not be reckless.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I don't see a reason (I'm assuming you're implying that you are safe) that this wouldn't work for you. Check PM.

My last post was to kinda point out to Iandv, that his process of reinstalling apps is crap. None of that post was directed at OP at all.
And this has alot of real coo potential. Also as I stated I prefer GB. All the ICS leaks IMO have sukt ass. They all have a way togo.
