You can get replacements here, cheap. I can attest they are a reliable dealer.

I'm pretty rough on my headphones because I ride a motorcycle. I've had wires crimp & short out. I've had mic's blown out at high speed winds. So I'm pretty pleased to say that I found a sturdy & pretty good set at Target. The brand is Just Wireless. The cord is reinforced with wire, the jack & mic are made out of sturdy metal instead of the usual cheap plastic. For 30 bucks it's not a bad deal.

Armband?

Has anyone found an armband for the vibrant yet? I am thinking about giving this one a run but i'm not sure yet
http://bit.ly/aFqcFy
It won't be a snug fit as the Vibrant is so thin, but it'll definitely fit. Looks nice, considering getting one for myself (wonder if there is velcro or a zipper to ensure it doesn't fall out, I hate it when they only show one angle...)
Edit:
There's an iPhone one on Amazon with the exact same dimensions, bet it's the same thing, and free shipping. http://www.amazon.com/iArmbands-iPh...3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1279489127&sr=1-3
Will keep looking later, the dimensions of the Vibrant are pretty much exactly that of an iPhone 3GS, so anything for it should fit just fine. Might stop by Walmart and see if they've got anything. (Might need to cut out a headphone jack though as it looks like the Vibrant's is slightly shifted in)
Edit2: Ended up buying this at Target. It's a really tight fit, and there's no space for the USB plug without cutting the case, but I won't be needing it there anyway. I wouldn't recommend it as the 4 touch buttons at the bottom don't fit in very well, but it'll work for me.
Thanks I'm swinging by target tomorrow to check it out
I appreciate the work!

I got the Belkin one at Target. It was tight at first, but now it works really well.
I bought a runners club like band( cant remeber the name) from KMart. It was like ten bucks. I found ot in the phone section. Cool thing is i can use the part you put the phone in as a belt pouch without the armband
Ten bucks at kmart... Can't beat that

Cheap and Easy Phone Stands

So I found this pack of padded cable ties in my desk and thought I could bend them into a paperclip-style stand like the one I use at work.
It didn't work, but I discovered that, with some minor adjustments, they can still be made into effective little stands.
I bought them at Fry's Electronics for $5.99 for a pack of six. They are the 7" Urashima Taro Wire Flexi Ties II.
Seems better then the plunger I ordered:/ Seems as someone used their noodle.

Cheap Silicone Case

Just ordered Black Silicone Skin Case For Samsung Captivate i897. Don't think you can go wrong for 8 bucks shipped.
Will inform you all when I get it and take some pics of it and post
I bought that same case from amazon. It fits well and it does not seem to accumulate dust under it.

I also got something similar: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=767334
I got mine from at&t retail store and love it... its like Fluke Meter armor... just wipe it with a damp cloth once in a while to keep dust off of it and its good to go.

I actually have to say that this is a very nice case. Comfortable to hold and adds a very small amount of bulk to the device. So for the price I paid it's well worth it.
Hey I know this is an older post but have you guys had any complaints about call quality with the silicone cases? I'm on my second one, 2 different styles, and everybody says they hear an echo like I have them in speaker phone but I don't. If I take it off it goes away.
Yes. I got complaints about hearing echoes while on speaker when I have my case on too. It is made of TPU which is similar to silicone but a bit stiffer and more form fitting.

On the bottom of our phone there's a little hole. I'm assuming that's the microphone? If that's the case then yeah I can see how cases would muffle sound.
Maybe drill a hole in cases where that is?
Ordered 1 silicone case, comes with a car charger on ebay.. just around $10.00 now that's a bargain

The one I have has a hole that is about the side of the eraser of a pencil which is much larger than the mic hole. I never have anyone complain.

I have an $150 Amazon gift card...

I would just wait. The only real good item that you will find on Amazon is the Barely There case from Casemate. DO NOT buy the other Casemate cases because they have pulled them from their site because the bottom cut out for the Micro USB was off set. The main thing that I am waiting for are the docks and some good pouches to show up on Amazon. If you want something right now then I will recommend the Klipsch heaphones, they are the best ones that I have owned but they aren't cheap. Of course if you are one of those people who break a lot of headphones then stay away from these. They are the only ones that have oval shaped ear buds, I think that they patented the idea.

+1 On the ear buds. I have the Klipsh Image S4, which are basically the same except for the microphone/button. They are amazing! Audio fidelity is superb for in-ear headphones...

Oh OK then you don't need the Android model because they are they same, I also have the same one as you.
I just bought a PS3 controller, which comes with an HDMI cable, and a MHL-to-HDMI adapter. I also have a USB OTG adapter. Those are some accessories you might consider.

House of Marley Earbuds

If you are looking for the best ear buds out there I picked up some House of Marley ear buds at best buy the craftsmanship is top notch and the sound quality is excellent compared to $100+ ones selling these go for around $30 and I am very impressed.

For double the price, they have really nice on-ear headphones:

flashy and eco- but im kinda the audiophile. i dont think ill get much out of these.
I have the "People Get Ready" in ear headphones and they are awesome but with one MAJOR flaw.
When the fabric covered cord touches anything you hear it...when standing perfectly still (lol) they sound great.
I just picked up a set of the smiles in red with the one button mic today at bestbuy because of your recommendation. These things kick ass! The craftsmanship and quality is outstanding. And the sound cannot be beaten at that price.
I love the no tangle cord. thats a huge plus for me
Just ordered Midnight Ravers in Sun from Amazon with the 3-button Mic for $47 before tax with Prime 2-day shipping. That's pretty good considering they're normally $60 + tax: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B005FO2DHE/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
i have a pair of those. they are really nice cause they never get tangled. love it. sounds nice too
