Sorry for my bad english.... i have dhd asian version and software number is 1.32.707.1 and i always check for update but it say my phone has latest version but i see in htc website www.htc.com/sea there is an update version 1.84.707.2 .... please help me.. thanks.

You just need to wait for HTC in your country to release the update, or use the RUU in the development section.

Could someone please help us "HTC Desire HD users" who have not been able to update our phone to 2.2.1 specially those purchased in Middle East. Our current software is 2.2 and everytime we check for software update it always says our software is updated. Is there a way to manually update our Desire HD? with 2.2.1 download provided? Apparently HTC has pulled off the 1.72 updates as a lot of people were having problems with the SD card failing. I believe HTC are working on another OTA to fix it and will be rolling out soon.
I belive update was removed from HTC and it was removed with reason. You should read this link for more informations. I am as well on 2.2 only, but as I saw how many problems were there with 1.72 OTA update, I am glad that I didn`t get that update

but where did you get your DHD ?!?!?
I've updated my DHD 2 weeks ago with 2.2.1 (Desire HD ITALY) found in software update !!!!!!

Since i was using an unrooted stock rom, it had received an OTA update. now the software number is software number 2.13.707.2, which is nowhere to be found at the shipped RUU website.. may i know whether can i use the one with software number 2.13.707.1 to flash my desire if anything happens? If NOT, can anyone give me the link to download this RUU with software number 2.13.707.2? Thanks in advance!
There isn't one for .2 - but the other one should be OK to use

i bought my phone from UAE and it i updated it over the air through wifi ,so i was running software 2.42.415.1
i updated my desire hd using ruu to version 2.50.405.2
and now i lost the arabic suport,i cant go back to the oldest one (2.42.415.1) the tools keep showing bootloader error
please i need an arabic support cause without it my htc desire hd won't be useful ,
Your stuck I'm afraid. You went from a x.xx.415.x which I assume has Arabic support to x.xx.405.x which is a generic WWE, world wide English version.

Correct. For random interest purposes, the three digit section of the ROM version indicates branding.
x.xx.771.1 indicates the first revision of a branded ROM version. x.xx.401.x or x.xx.405.x indicates the phone is unbranded.
For unbranded phones, the next build should be 2.08.
1.56.720.2 in India!

I think you can skip the step of downloading and installing RUU and proceed to next step.. It worked for me earlier when I was stuck on similar issue.. our software number were different ..

secondly i have completed the steps but cant get into the recovery window as it show black window after pressing the recovery button to install root.zip file what could be the reason.
