Everytime I try open facebook it keeps closing up, I uninstalled a couple times with same response. I'm running miui at the moment. Was using cm7 and everything was flawless. Was wondering if anyone had any suggesting ? Thanks for your time

Uninstall and re-install.
Which version number of Facebook?
Have you tried fixing permissions?
(from... Evo/MIUI/Tapatalk)
Which...
Which ROM are you using? Stock or a Ported one?
Well I finally got it to work, I'm using miui 1.5.6. Its been working great couple bugs here and there but don't think its 100% ready.

I just flashed the 3.29 software update yesterday and everything was great, but I discovered today that I have a new problem with the built-in browser - whenever a page is loading and I touch anything (like x or the back button) the browser instantly force closes.
What can I do about this? Could a different kernel (I'm on stock now) make a difference?
Any ideas are appreciated.

Go into manage applications force stop the browser and clear all data/cache then reboot and see if that helps.

I did what you said, but it hasn't fixed the problem, only made the force close delayed by a few seconds. What else can I try?

You can try booting into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik-cache then reboot. And if that still doesn't help I guess you could re-flash the rom or try an entirely different one.

Thanks for your help, man. I tried flashing a custom kernel and in the process I wiped cache and dalvik, but the problem has persisted. You think just reflashing the ROM could solve the problem?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yeah that would be my next step...I'd wipe the important 3 then re-flash. Trying a different ROM wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for your help. I think I'll reflash the current ROM. I like stock Sense UI.

Try opening up talk and making sure our is logged in. there was a bug where both of those had to be logged in for the market to work right

So lately I've been trying a lot of ROMs. Sense 2.1, 3.0, and 2.1/3.0, yet I get the same issue no matter what I can't get into the HTC hub I signed up when I first rooted and it let me.. its not important that it works, just annoying that it doesn't.
In short, anybody know what's up with HTC hub?
P.s. add me on google+

Shouldn't this be in Q/A? Other than that, not sure why. Works just fine for me.

Ditto from me bud. It works for some people and dosn't for others. Its just one of those things that was never ment for our phone but thanks to the hard work of all our devs and everyone else it now is. Things will be buggy. We just gotta expect that for now. And keep hope alive that our upcoming OTA will bring a lot of good fixes.
Hmm kinda blows... Really wanted some HTC goodies...

Yea I love the red chinese skin you can get from there. Its pretty cool.
I always sign into it but have yet to find anything personally appealing in it. Still waiting for the day when something pops up tho.

Have you tried the Synergy ROM? That's what I'm using and it seems to work. Could you maybe make a list of the ROMs you have tried?

I've never had any problems with my HTC hub on any sense rom. Maybe recreating the account is your best bet.
CM7 nightly
Couldn't get mine to work with Shift but my same account works perfectly with Hybrid.
I've tried every sense rom I could think of none seem to work right

Try to change a rom?
i did. Couldn't figure it out. I was restoring the rom a couple times and i think that might of done it. Running latest CM7 with no issues.
I was having the same issue so I just reflashed cm7 and everything seems to work fine for now. Hope this helps

That update totally screwed my phone over.
I run a stock, rooted dinc 2. Last week the phone started hanging. I would turn it on and the clock was a couple of hours behind. Or, I would close an application and Sense would crash. Basically, something killing Sense randomly, and without that you can't do anything but power off and reboot.
I cleared the cache hoping that would help. No luck. Then I ran 'adb logcat' on it and noticed that Facebook was repeatedly trying to install a .jar and failing. This was burning my battery and crashing Sense.
I cleared Facebook's data and uninstalled it. Now, no problems for the last three days.
