recently i brought a Bose MIE2i headset, however the mic of the headset seems not working.
So i test the same headset on Desire HD and iPhone4, both working good. And i try it again on my fd's desire Z, again, mic is not working.
Does any brother got similar problem?
P.S. i tested with the HTC headset come with desire z, it works fine. and i tired another headset from sony ericsson, mic not work.
Hey, I'm having the same issue with the same earphones & a HTC Incredible S
Any solution for this?

Hello,
I got a pair of B&W P5 that are made for iPhone/iPod to use on my HTC HD Mini.
When I connect them into Mini it recognizes that a headphone with a microphone is plugged in but it fail to get any sound out of it.
I try it also on a HTC Touch2 and the result was the same.
On android devices users are reporting that mics and volume buttons are working.
On a apple device my P5 works so isn't a hardware problem with it.
This is a WM devices limitation?
Why a mic is recognized but doesn't work?
There is any kind of driver/patch/software to overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance
I have HTC legend with 2.2, and i can comfirm that the mic is not working for me either. I am able to pause the current song, and answer calls, with the middle button, but nothing else.
I am really interested in getting answers to the same questions as TS asked.
I can also confirm that the mic does work with HTC desire..
Wont work. Better use mw600.
did somebody find a headset that actually works 100% with the desire?
do you mean with buttons and mics etc? I use my Samsung Galaxy Tab headsets with my desire, they work fine !! everything works !
Good Afternoon Guys
i bought a new MW600 Headset but it seems that my Arc isnt compatible at 100%.

Unable to listen music via Samsung Bluetooth Headset HM1100.
I have tried in Latest nightly, Stock froyo and in modded Froyo (Jokerdroid 4.2)
It seems that the A2DP function is not supported by wildfire for HM1100.
Whether anyone can confirm or can provide any application for the same would be highly grateful to me...

i have tried it with cyanogen mod too....didnt get sucess
From what i see on samsung's website the headset you are talking about is not a stereo bluetooth headset so the chances that it will support music playback are acute.
You can check 2 things though,
1. Long press on the paired headset in bluetooth settings and check if the media option is available, if yes activate it and you can play music.
2. Pair the headset with a normal wildfire (unrooted, s-on) and try the same.
But remember,
Not all handsets play music via normal (single earpiece) bluetooth headsets so if it doesnt work wildfire is one of them..
What technical aspect makes it not to play music. Its so disappointing.....My friends Nokia 5800 plays music on the Samsung HM1100 bluetooth single piece headset...but my HTC Desire HD doesn't.

I think because many Nokia phones output audio in mono to bluetooth devices. My N9 worked with a Samsung and Motorola mono bluetooth headset but my Xperia T can only connect to these same headsets for telephone calling.
Hello, I have a problem with my HTC One m8 and headsets with a mic. This just began happening yesterday, I would listen to music on Google Play Music, when suddenly my music would stop and my phone would ask me to unlock my device. It then proceeded to try to do a voice search without me starting it, and tried calling someone in my contacts, but would immediately hang up and I'd hear a brief moment of static. At the very least can someone help me determine if this is my phone overreacting to the microphone, or if it's the headset all together?
The specs if anyone needs to know:
Phone: HTC One m8, had it for a few months
Headset: Pear sport
Phone is unrooted on android 4.4.2, sense 6.0
Do you still have the packed-in HTC headset? If so try that.
It seems either the button on your headset is malfunctioning; or your phone is. If its the phone, itcould be software or hardware (such as a damaged headphone jack).
