Sense 3.5 screenshots leaked [update:3.5 ROM now available]!!!!

Just now came to know about this news in GSMArena.com.

Sense 3.5 screenshots has been posted on their site.. Hope to see this new sense on my Desire once it comes

Problem will be the GPU, but maybe they optimised it so much, that it will run better, than 3.0

Ya.. Sense 3.5 is optimized to run in lower-end hardware.... So Our Desire should be able to handle that I guess

I saw an article saying it was more optimized and doesnt have the same 'high end' hardware requirements as 3.0 too
we just need to wait for a port now I guess?
did I read right that the Bliss is similar spec to the Desire Z?

There have been leaks of it on the desire s and incredible s forums. It's meant to first ship with the bliss then our devices will get it.

Looks cool but I guess I will need to wait for a rom with that on top for my desire

This looks cool. I'd be interested to try it when someone makes a rom.

I can't say I like the weather lock-screen (even the lock ring looks poorer in quality) here but I assume this is a prototype/beta version anyway. I'm sure everything will look better once it gets an official release.
Anyone got any idea when this is mean to come out?

It'll definitely be an interesting change to what we're used to. Hopefully it'll be better than 3.0.

newt left xda as did some other noted devs.

xda is always great with every rom out there but now it seems like a lot of devs a setting up their own sites...In a way it sucks but I'm sure they have their reasons.

XDA is still a great place to get ROMs for phones, just maybe not our particular phone per say. It all depends on phone popularity.
The HTC Sensation has a ROM released called Android Revolution HD™ 3.5.2 XE, it has a thread with over 1700 pages. Must be a good ROM...

Well, he was using this forum to promote his site, which is a violation of the rules. Plus, I think some people were questioning the validity of the work, but I could be wrong. Other Devs left for reasons that were site related, which is understandable.

The hardware specs seem very close to our beloved Dinc2 so it would seem only logical that sense 3.5 could make an official jump.

What will run better on our phone? Sense 4 or 3.6?

What do you think will run better on our phone Sense 4 or Sense 3.6? I am assuming Sense 3.6 since its going to actually get officially released but not so sure since Sense 4 is lighter. And do you think any of these 2 will be faster then stock ICS such as cyanongeMOD 9 when that will be officially released.

Sense 4 will. Its so much lighter of a UI than sense 3.6. But neither will run as well as AOSP

Well comparing stock Sense 2.1 we get with the ROM, I could say its much faster and stable then AOSP Gingerbread(CyanongenMod).

i honestly dont know which will run better, but sense 4 runs well (and smooth)
id have to think sense 3.6 will run best just cuz it will be official, but idk

We should get Sense 4.0 ported from the One V as its lighter, and has the good ICS multitasking interface.

I'm running opensense4 and I gotta say it runs very smoothly for an alpha, as soon as sense 4.0 and cm9 get fixed up I'm never going back to any gb Rom.

just to clear up any confusion YOU ARENT PORTING ANYTHING, OTHER DEVS AND I HAVE BEEN and its from the one v
the one x is a hd resolution device and the one s a qhd resolution device.....these roms would have to be resized to work on our wvga res phone, whereas the one v does not, thats why all the wvga msm7x30 devices are using RUU's from the one v
i dont mean to be an ass, but dont correct me if you dont know ****, thanks

If you want to resample over a thousand images from the One X or One S to match the resolution of the Vivow, then more power to you. Oh, wait... that is just the beginning - I forgot to mention the thousands of lines of code in the xml files you'll have to search through to make the needed resolution changes there also. Oops, still not done: that was just for the theme, that's not even counting the code in the ROM itself that provides instruction for all the apps to set the proper screen resolution for their graphics. Or you could just port the same Sense 4.0 ROM from the One V, with the proper resolution already set in the code and the graphics.

Read the OP for opensense.. It's One V... And Nitsuj is the one who started it so I'm pretty sure he knows what device he is trying to port. The man is pretty ****ing amazing with his ****... The Roms Dont stink...

the one on themikmik is also one v, it was mislabeled as one s, there IS NO ONE S OR ONE X port, nor will there be for this phone
newt is also not maintaining a separate rom gong forward afaik and will be assisting with fixes on opensense

Do you think it'll be possible for a port of the Sense 4.0 rom on the Droid Incredible 4G, especially since it has the same size screen as the Inc2?

as tyler said wvga vs qHD (big difference)
for porting purposes its essentially the same as porting a one s rom (minus the vzw built in) and thats been useless for us

Just because they have similar hardware does not mean they're cross device. Just buy a Samsung. Have us the hassle lol.

I doubt it's possible. Even porting Sense cameras to AOSP on the same device has proven impossible AFAIK. I can't imagine doing it cross-device. The code isn't open-source.

I think this would be very difficult, if not impossible. Like mentioned above there are different frameworks in sense and touchwiz...

just buy a S4 lol

If they can port the sense camera over to AOSP, id be happy (that's not going to happen either btw..)
lol Really like the look of the S4 active, only just checked and cant believe they're only offering a exchange value of around £260 for our Ones....
Shocking considering the s4 active is rumored to retail between £400 - £600....
Bad considering I traded my S2 in for around £200 18 months after I got it...
The second market is on its arse these days... Damn the recession...
