Ok I set up my Goole talk and voice account. I can call me wife on our pc and I can see her on my phone but she can not see me on the computer. It just shows my pic. How can i fix this.

what rom are you running?
what version of gApps do you have installed?
I'm running VirusROM Kingdom REVOlution | B1 | 2.3.3 | SENSE 3.0
I'm not sure on the gapps because they were already part of the rom.
it won't work on 2.3.3 roms. you need a 2.3.4 rom for it to work.

also, remember that ROM(which im running as well) is still in beta and is a little iffy right now. That could have something to do with it. But yeah, the new talk relies on 2.3.4. (I know, its kind of a pain.) XP
I had it running with a few of the ROMS in the Dev section. End of Days V1 was 2.3.3 and google talk with video worked on it. I also ran it on a few of the other 2.3.3 roms but I had to flash the specific google apps download that was with those roms. In general, it isn't meant to work with 2.3.3 as said by others but I believe a few of the awesome Devs have figured out how to make it work using framework from 2.3.4.

Im interested in what everyone's opinions on why one leaked gingerbread rom would be better than the others now that there are a few out. I was looking into Mik's rom and virus rom. Remember this is just people's opinions not what is the best.

OMJ's HTC EVO 2.3.3 Custom ROM v5.0 | GingerBread 4.12.651.1 | *Updated 4/26/11* is a great rom with sense 2.1 but the only thing the 4g isnt working.

There is a bunch of custom ROMs built on top of the leaked ROM with each Chef's spin on it.
I use MikGinger RC1 at the moment.

I haven't seen any other threads like this around so it's ok to post right?
Does anyone know of any Stock/Pure/Clean/Fast 2.3 Gingerbread rom for the HTC Desire? I know of Oxygen and suck but they have their own boot animation and have customized stuff. Others I have found are outdated versions. (i.e. 2.3.4) A stock rom with 2.3.7 would be nice. Any advice?

Stock Rom with 2.3.7 Does not exist yet. Latest Stock (if you mean from HTC) is 2.3.5 with Sense 3/3.5.
Currently Oxygen and CyanogenMod 7 (and GingerVillain) has 2.3.7 - Miui is 2.3.5.
However major update in the 2.3.7 - is you can pay with Google wallet (and of course various fixes).

Thank you for your reply! Is there any stock (no sense, mods, ect.. just vanilla) 2.3.5 ROM? Thanks again! Not oxygen because it has some mods. I would like NO mods att all, or alternatively a ROM exactly how it is on the nexus s.
Theres a symantics issue here as stock (as in from factory) has HTC Sense, so what you actually mean is Vanilla.
Try devNull by oxygen.

If you will use the camera and video record stuff then don't even think about ICS roms for now. I think GB are doing just fine until a proper ICS rom is released with everything functioning. My personal suggestion would be to use virtuous affinity GB rom here and download from the bottom of the page.

Hi, i am running SkyDragon | Google Play Edition v2.0.3 | 4.4.3 on my HTC One M8. It's awesome. However, when I upgrade the kernel to 1.0.2 or 1.0.3 from the original kernel that came with version 1.x of the ROM, the camera no longer works. I cannot make a connection to it.
Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
