[Theme] NexTheme Port fastludeh22's OTA de-odex'd stock rom

This is a port of one of the best theme ever made for android devices called NexTheme by manup456, all credit goes to him! I wanted to run this theme on fastludeh22's OTA de-odex'd stock rom found HERE which is what I'm running. This is a full rom flash as there isn't a template for this rom out yet. A wipe shouldn't be required if coming from the same rom, for all others I recommend a full wipe and as usual if something goes wrong I didn't force you to flash it.
Download rom/theme
Download kernel from link above
Put both on sdcard
Boot into recovery
Do a backup
Flash Rom/Theme
Flash Kernel
Reboot and enjoy!

Sheesh! Come on guys.... we have a theme or two for CM. We really needed one for stock ota. When CM gets out of RC... expect much more stuff for it and then stock will become less and less used. Stability is nice to have.

Gahhhhh! Been trying for like 30 minutes and I can't get the darned 4 letter captcha. It won't come up. Anyone else having this problem from the phone?

I will try my best to release it for cm as well I just prefer running a stock rom and customizing it myself that's why I did the stock rom first. Will try and get it out asap.

One thing is missing though... the intergraded froyo tethering.

Works just fine, I just flashed. You have to pick a kernel and flash that over the ROM. I used CM bacon bits.

Can someone explain how to flash this?? I tried using metamorph but didnt seem to work. I installed the rom just for this theme. Someone plz help
Edit: Nevermind got it to work flashing in recovery..Looks great..Thanks a lot..Was waiting for a stock theme..Now looking like gingerbread!!

Do you mean flashing bacon bits after the theme is installed? Wifi not working for me either. Was working when I first ran the stock de-odex'd rom but stopped after I installed the theme.

Just reflash your previous kernel. Most of them contain correct .ko files to get wifi going again.

Didn't know had to reflash kernal. Working great now. Thanks.

Updated first post with flashing instructions, sorry should have been more clear about flashing everything.

Reflashed bacon bits and wifi now works..Thanks..But now the tethering is gone. Any chance that could be fixed in the future? I do use it every now and then

Yeah, native tethering seems to disappear on every OTA stock theme I have used or made. not sure why or how it happens. I haven't figured it out but the problem is in the services.jar. Just download wifi tether and wired tether which work perfectly until a fix is found...

Loving this theme, thanks for the work porting it over. It's running fantastic. One request however, if you ever update it, when scrolling through my contacts by letter (dragging the bar on the right) the popup that is supposed to show the letter, is black on black. Let me know if you don't know what I mean, I'll try to explain it more clearly.

Install as stated in O.P just as you would on Version 1...

So it don't need to be ported, just metamorph... Ummm aboutto try in well report in a couple.

All you have to do is FLASH IT!!! Its UNIVERSAL...You also have the option to MetaMorph if you dont want the WHOLE THEME!! Just BITS and PIECES!! I recommend Scrolling down to the "Universal Theme Download" and Flash the HELL out of it...WORKS PERFECT for me...I'm using "EpicAOSPMod V-1...It is SUPER SMOOTH and in my opinion the best COLORS this PHONE has SEEN!!! I DONT LIE!!! Flash it and YOU BE THE JUDGE!!! It looks EXACTLY like "EYE CANDY THEME" I used to run on the CYANOGEN ROMS for all my other phones...LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK???

Did you wipe?

Try and wipe cache and dalvik...It worked for me...Im using EpicAOSPMod v-1..You shouldn't have any problems with it as it is UNIVERSAL...Try again...Let me know if it worked out...I still want to try your theme but I'm gonna wait till you have it a little more developed..I know it looks AMAZING right now but this theme is gonna hold me over till yours is closer to final...I hope your able to use the dialer from this one cause its the nicest one I've seen yet..

i am using starburst rom v1.4 with the 10/8 nightly with GO launcher. I flashed this and the only thing that changed was boot animation.

Did you wipe cache and Dalvik first..Are you using CWM to flash and I would try flashing again..I've only tried it with EpicAOSPMod V-1 rom and stock kernel...It is"Universal"so I would think it should work for all others...Try it again wiping cache and Dalvik and let me know how you make out!!

I think ROMS with NO CIQ is CAUSING ALL THE F.C'S!!
Guys..I think it may be ROMS that have NO CIQ that is causing all the Force closes..I just remembered...I tried installing a similar theme on my AEMOD and had recieved the same PROBLEMS...That has to be the PROBLEM... Sorry guys...I will change the O.P and state to look out for that...There is a member who installed it also and had NO PROBLEMS...I wil lPM him and ask which Rom he is using..

I install this on I fresh flash (Wiped 3x ) on StarBurst ROM[10/9/11] [v1.5]
without any problems besides gmail FC. I just remove it and put the old on back in.

The screenshots are sick. I want to flash it but I am on a noCIQ ROM and don't want to screw it up. Plus, I'm using Launcher Pro instead of TW. Is this going to be workable for my situation, later?

I am on midnight rom 2.1 with no ciq and have no probems with thise theme . I am really loving this theme only close second to watermarked theme we used to have for droid og.

you say to wipe data + cache + dalvik 3 times, wont that delete profile and everything on my phone which has starburst 10/8 nightly installed?
if i wipe data? that sometimes causes phone to freeze because I would not be installing a rom afterwards?
if i want to install the newest version of starburst (v1.5) and this theme, what are the best steps to take to do it?
figure this should cover alot of bases that maybe not just me might have

I gota sgs2 and i installed checkrom revolution 2.0 ..im using the kitchen app pro to install themes automatically .. First i tried pure blue and it worked fine.. Then i changed to the new theme juicy orange and that was alright too.. Then i changed back to pure blue again. First it looked like before again but then i saw that the icon of my market and the fonts are still orange.. I tried theme restore package and i got the original gingerbread theme back but market icon and fonts still orange.. How can i get that in original mode back too ??? Thank you for any answer

your mistake was that before you changing to another theme you did not do the theme restore first...i do not use that rom but in the kitchen there is a file were you flash that and it takes you back to the previous theme you had installed which in your case would of been stock...so give you an example you flash rom and you have your stock theme...then you want to say try pure blue..you flash that and you like it..next day though you want to change..then you should of downloaded theme restore, flashed that and then you would have your original look again...(you keeping up with me yeah) once you done that you can flash a different theme....that is what you should of done...to get back to the way you was try flashing the rom again and just wipe dalvik and cache and nothing else and see wat happens

[REQ] Stock 4.0.3 XEN (Netherlands) with..

Hello,
Today i just updated my phone from Android 2.3.6. (XEN) to Android 4.0.3 (XEN)
PDA: I9100XWLP7
PHONE: I9100XXLPS
CSC: I9100XENLP3
Now i'm just looking to the blue ICS Symbols like stock Google. Samsung brig his update just with de green Gingerbread battery, etc..
Is there somone who have a zip file for CWM Recovery, to install just the Google ICS blue battery symbols, etc.. I'm not so good to make these things..

I installed it on the same firmware and my phone is rootet. But if i open the taskmanager and select storage it only shows me % and not how much space i have. I deleted systemui.odex and and flashed the zip again. But still the same. All other things are working fine.

After this I rooted the phone and installed the theme ICS DOMINATION v4.1
As you can see at the DOMINATION thread there is a specific instruction for odexed ICS ROMS

Unfortunately the theme made it impossible to make a phone call. Also the Apps screen only displays the app's and does NOT provide an option to select Widgets as the screen prints at the DOMINATION thread implies.
Of course it is always possible it has everything to do with me but...
My advice to you is to search for an alternative ICS, just like me

Im running a deodexed Stock rom, it looks exactly like a stock samsung rom, if you flash that one you are able to flash some more mods cuz most mods need a deodexed rom, The rom is named NeatRom.

there is a theme called touch0color,from dilly in this section, check it out

I did check out the Touch COlor, I do not understand with one to use for my phone. I loaded the Touch color 3, It did load but I had a blank homescreen. Nothing on the stauts/ notification bar, NO battery, NO date, Etc..
Can you help?

Use the one that says background with color. Flash it in recovery and let it load. You should be good after that. It's in blue text

Make sure you use the right theme for the from you're using. Personally I like touchOcolor with white text, easier to read.
