Music player

Does anyone know of or have a better music player then stock? I been using songbird but bleh...

PowerAMP Music Player has some good features but its not free (theres a free trial though)

I have the MIUI Music Player and Poweramp and find myself bouncing between the two. The MIUI player can be found on darkierawr's Nebula theme. Its also baked into Urban Fury ROM.

I don't suppose you'd happen to know of a version of that MIUI Music Player that exists without having to flash a ROM?
There probably isn't one, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

I made a blacked out version some time ago. Look at threads started by me and you'll find it. Its also included in my theme if you wanted to try that

WinAMP for Android isn't too bad. That may be worth trying.

I recommend MortPlayer. Designed for people who keep their music organized in folders. They have a fantastic audiobook version too.

Havent found a decent player to do this yet. TTpod was the only one i found with this function but the player pretty much sucks (imo)

ubermusic market version is payware, but beta version is free and can grab it from here, and it size is 770kb while attachment above is 210kb. so i dont really know what this is. so to anyone who already install this, is it ubermusic or another app with same look?
edited: its not ubermusic. anothe music app that looks like wp7 music app. its lighweight but too simple without many feature

The music square function sounds really good, which is not supported by any other player app i think...

what does music square do?

Music player from gs3 also includes music widget. Would be awesome if somebody port that

And it should also work on the lockscreen, which i think would be the hardest part. Probably participates with the new lockscreen (if someone manage to port this)

Can anyone suggest a light Music Player for CM based ROMs. Apollo does the job quite good. But the album art is a bit pixellated or blurred. Tried a couple of players but if anyone knows suggest me. It would be great if you guys can suggest a player with works very well with 180dp ROMs like RR.

Try Player Pro, this is a free version to try it out - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tbig.playerprotrial
I've been using this app's full version since 4.1.2 and I love it.
It has everything you might need,
- lists (artists, folders, playlist, album etc)
- artist/album art download, you can even manually set and edit details of songs and select art inside the player
- can be used with Viper, DSP Manager as well as Player Pro DSP
- several widgets to choose from
- shake to switch feature
Try it out, you won't be disappointed

I had never come across it before and it seems to have nice feel and effects judging from the screenshots.

Player is good by its look and feel.. But i prefer the album art to be displayed in a full scale as in stock player and player pro.
Btw, Wiizm Player FC when Equalizer is opened.

Yup you are right... PowerAmp is good and the best as i know. But in person, i don't like it
I just wanted a simple player with a simple interface, which displays album art fully and clearly. And i like to hear music in that simple way.. I don need heavy features like poweramp.

Use Walkman.... In that clear audio +....see how it is...for me its superub...u give an try......!

Player Pro as you suggested was the player i was looking for.
But none of the dsp managers worked with it. Neither Viper Nor Dsp. Then i tried the player pro dsp manager, but that didnt helped.
