I followed P3Droid's instructions and am now rocking rooted 3.1.......it's legit!
anybody have an alternate link to the boot3-1.img? The megaupload one seems to be down.
nvm working now
There are already plenty of guides on this (including a flashable update.zip being uploaded right now), posted on XDA rather than an external site. Because of this, I am closing this thread. Thanks for sharing, though.

Ive searched for it but without success anyone that can help me out and post a link to that thread it would be appriciated.THX
Go to thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794512&page=10.
Post #99 on page 10 has the APK, and if you can't get it working, Post #110 on page 11 has an alternate solution to tweak the market version.
Thx 4 the reply yea #99 was right on the money
What I just did since I was having trouble was uninstall flash player completely with Titanium, reboot the phone, then install the edited .apk.
Works great BTW.
There is a download link from the SmartDroid thread in the development section for the battery percentage indicator in the status bar (I believe) and I was hoping someone could give me some detailed instructions as to how to apply it. I have seen instructions of how to apply similiar modifications for other ROMs before but never specifically for a SmartDroid ROM. I am running the Stock version of SmartDroid 3.1. Thanks in advance.
The thread that the download link is in is:
[ROM] SmartDroid 3.1|1.14.709.2|Sense 3.5|2.3.5|S and T versions
The link is on page 25, 5th post down.
DL it, put to SD card,
Flash via recovery.
Done.

Is it that simple? Nothing else needs to be done? Also, is it reversible?
Fantastic. Thx

did it work for you leo? are you also using SmartDroid? could you please post a screenshot of it as there isnt one in the original thread.
Here is a link to flashable zip to get google now working in full. I take no credit for this. Just linking to the thread where all the hard work has been done. Please read through the entire thread if you have questions. A big thanks to lenny kao for getting google voice fully functional without needing any workarounds.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29646975#post29646975
Just flash the zip in recovery and you will have a fully functional google now!
Also here is a mirror for the flashable zip. This was taken from the original thread

Link is working now.. isn't there more to it then just flashing the file with CWM?

The link should work now. Also just a note the original thread has not been updated as of yet. The link I have provided is to a fully functional google now. It works exactly as it does in Jelly Bean. If you want to get caught up with the thread start at post #2370

Nope just flash the zip. Please point any further questions related to mod to the original thread. Just wanted to put this out there for people looking for more information on the google now port.
Should we remove the old copy and set back the normal google search bar?
I flashed the Google Now v6.zip with CWM and everything seems to be functioning correctly, however when I ask it questions it doesn't seem to hear anything.
I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS, I JUST FOUND THE FILES AND DECIDED FOR IT TO BE MORE READILY AND EASILY AVAILABLE.
I have been looking around and read that many people were looking for the reset flash counter flashable zips. I have both the telus and the t-mobile reset-flash-counter zips So now they are easily available for everybody to enjoy!:laugh::good:
I take no responsibility caused by flashing the files, please read and make sure you selected the right one!
Isn't there a sticky with these files?

I always just do a quick search to find it in this thread.
Note that in the thread, Chainfire requests that these files shouldn't be redistributed...

In what page and comment include a cwm/twrp flashable zip, because as I was reading the OP chainfire was talking about an apk and a Odin flash file. So please show me where he mentions these zip files that I first read about in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1578184
Edit: I did this so its easier to find these zip files!

I noticed that there aren't any recovery flashable stock ROM images available,
(at least that I could find) so I made one.
This is based on stock AT&T Jelly Bean 4.1.1 [DLK3] firmware and is rooted,
busyboxed, deodexed and has init.d support.
Devs and cooks, feel free to use this as a base for your ROMs.
(be sure to give me some credit on your OP)
Install script only wipes cache and Dalvik.
As always, flash at your own risk!!!

Nice Job my friend always good to have a backup stock Rom Thanks for sharing.:good:
thanks bud
Thanks for making a separate thread for this, it's helpful. It should be known that enewman17 has the completely stock rom with root available in his thread as well as that used to be the purpose of his thread before creating his own custom rom in both odexed and de-odexed forms. For those who want the odexed form, please head to his thread. It's probably best to have this thread here separate though as it is easier to find for those who need it.
I searched before posting...I swear!
Also, for everyone I have a bunch of mods posted I'm my thread for use with the stock ROM.
It it's a good idea to have this posted separate, mine are hard to find.

I'm not trying to hound you your intentions are good and this thread is a good idea. enewman17 has a bunch of extras in his too. Sharing is caring! Besides, you took your time to make this yourself. Anybody who is new and wanting the stock ROM wouldn't know where to look but now they should have no problem. Thanks again, to both of you.

Is there a reason why the GOO download and the devhost one are 2 different sizes?
Devhost - 708MB
GOO.IM - 716MB
Just wanna make sure I am grabbing a good download right now!

No need to reply to the entire OP...
Thanks for saying something. The Goo file is wrong.
I just checked the MD5 with a utility and the Dev Host file is correct.
I have experienced several problem with files from Goo recently. This is the final straw. I will not host with them again.
Thanks again!

Everyone, if you downloaded the file from Goo please delete it and download from Dev Host.
I hope all of you routinely check the MD5 of your downloads.
There is a free utility here that I use.
Re: [Warning][ROM][Stock] AT&T Jelly Bean 4.1.1 [DLK3][22 Feb 2013]
Sorry for my reply methods, my bad - I posted kind of quick and didn't look back at it afterwards (didn't know it copied the entire first post, I hit reply not quote!). Anyway, I did verify the MD5 after the download and as I downloaded from Devhost first due to the much faster transfer speeds anyway it was good. I just wanted to bring it up while I was thinking about it as I knew something was awry.
Thanks for the hook up on an easy rooted stock flash for us all!

Some of you have expressed an interest in making a donation even though I don't want them (thanks ).
But if any of you have a few bucks to spare, we have a fellow xda member that could really use the money right now.
Please don't post saying that you donated since I don't want anyone to feel obligated to do it, or feel uncomfortable if they don't. Just be happy knowing you helped someone in need. Thanks!

It's just a ROM, like any other ROM.
Please help me
Thank you for the flashable stock rom this is very useful! Could you please upload DLK3 baseband cwm flashable please? I know this baseband improves signal and it was not included in the rom.
appreciate it ! Thanks bud !
On a side note Up,
I got a nice basic ROM done last night and added a few things I figured I could do myself to start out with like AOSP messaging and the remove the wifi notification, few more.
Went to flash and for the "3 args looking for 4" error. So I figured it out that I needed to pull the updated-script from a working ROM and replace the one that was in my ROM. Is this standard. I used this base, so did I do the update-script step incorrectly or miss another step ? Vague question I know... still a newbie haha
