I followed all the step in the guide of theunlockr.com, but when the process is nearly complete(when the phone has finished restart), the following error message appears on the Unrevoked screen:
Internal error : am reported error starting service
(I'm totally new to android)
I have use unrevoked 3 (i think it's 3.3)
My phone information:
HTC Desire
BRAVO PVT4 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
RADIO-5.11.05.27
Software information:
Android version
2.2 (i think its stoked 2.2)
Software number

Can you please help me on what can i do to be able to correctly root my Desire?

It was a bug on unrevoked 3.3

[Q] HTC Desire, locked,0.93.0001 (Rootable?)

Hi,
Just got my first ever htc phone the htc desire locked on 3 (UK)
I was looking around and I am preparing to root the phone using this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016084
It says however that your device must be hboot 0.93 or lower. I checked and it says my phone is 0.93.0001 is it still okay to use this guide to root it?
Also will rooting my phone unlock it or must the phone be unlocked to root it?
Thanks in advanced and sorry if this is a noob question.
Unrevoked 3 will work.
I have the exact same Hboot version, and I got a custom rom on it.(rooted, s-off, alpharev Hboot)

[Q] How to Downgrade HBOOT and Any advantage of doing it??

Hello,
Wildfire S version: MARVEL
First my Phone is UNLOCKED BootLoader then i got S-OFFed via XTC Clip
HBOOT : 1.09.0099
How should i downgrade my HBOOT it seems that this is the reason with i still have status 7 errors when installing a ROM.. (Wildchild 2.0 specifically)
is this possible without getting ur S-OFF to S-ON?? (still looking for solution for the Status 7 errors)
Please as i may have seen other thread which is for other phone .. i would like to ask from WFS users here just to be safe...
Many Thanks!

S-OFF without Revolutionary.io

Hello dear Desire-Masters @xda-dev ,
Everywhere in Internet for Desire Bravo S-OFF process there are instructions to use revolutionary. but for some time this site is down.
if there are other possibilities to S-OFF good old Desire Bravo ?
android 2.3.3
build 3.14.405.1
hboot 1.02.0001
try http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc...-froyo-2-2-to-stock-2-1-t3187731/post62534573
solution found, but not to S-OFF, only to upgrade hboot from 1.02 to 1.03 and unlock via htcdev.com
- it really works, thanks! - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1260

Help on rooting HTC Desire Bravo?

Hi all,
I am trying to root my HTC Desire A8181 (aka Bravo) and am really struggling
Things I have tried
Kingo Root (failed towards the end)
Gingerbreak (Didn't work as haven't enabled S-OFF)
unrevoked - Firmware too new?
Revolutionary (stuck on waiting for device...)
And now I really don't know what to do.
I am running Android 2.2.2, and HBOOT version 0.93.0001 on a Windows 10 laptop.
Please help,
Nathan.
