When I try and move apps to my Sd card which has 7gigs of memory, I get an error that says "failed to move not enough storage space" what would cause this, and is there a fix?
Anyone know of a fix for this.

I've been trying to move apps from my internal storage to the SD card, but it keeps failing each time saying "Failed to move application" and sometimes "Failed to move application not enough memory"
I have plenty of memory on the sd card, 20GB free out of 29.xxGB so I'm not sure as to what I'm doing wrong.

probably the problem with sd card.....
format by fat32........and check again ~~~~~~~~~~~

Not sure how the process works. But most likely the phone gathers all the data together to move to the sd card. Probably does this inside of some kind of a temp folder. If your storage is that low it may not have enough memory to put this move together. So if you are that low try uninstalling something and try the move again.
Android what version you have?
you have the root?
I downloaded Talking Santa for the kids but it won't let me play it. A screen keeps popping up that there is not enough space on my SC card but I have 50 gigs of free space. My knowledge is very limited but I unmounted and mounted again and that didn't do anything. I'm also getting this error when I try to move an app to my SD card using app 2 sd.
The app seems to have extra files it needs to download when you open it. It looks like it is trying to put those files on the internal storage. Try deleting some files off your internal SD not external.
This phone does a stupid thing where the internal memory is split into two partitions: Internal and SD card. Apks go to internal and data to SD card. But SD card is really just another subsection of your internal memory! Nothing actually goes to your external removable SD card when you move apps to the "SD card". This is a problem that I know no solution to. Any help?
Haven't had an issue with apps not going to SD. I have noticed that it does leave the empty folder behind on my internal SD.
follow by a title my phone cant move any moveable apps... it is because of invalid path.... ?? now i can only use my internal storage.. ant suggestions or idea how i can get back my storage device..
Hello everyone,
Since a few days my backups fail and when I took a look it said: SD Card inaccessible or insufficient space. (the app I use is EaseBackup)
I still have 48 Gb free on my external memory and 6 on my internal, so insufficient space does not seem to be a problem.
I am aslo able to acces all files and folders on the internal and external memory and move them around, so the SD Card is not defective.
Does anyone know what might be the problem and how I can fix it?
Sorry my english (translate by google)
Even with 28 GB of space in my micro sd, I am getting the error "Insufficient storage space" how can I solve this?
Android Marshmallow, LG g3 ( d855p )
What do you think? Failed rom? Or my two SD with problem?

Hi, (what is your native lang?)
You probably have many apps installed and they exhausted your internal storage. They are not being installed/moved to your external sd properly.
If you have few apps, you need to identify which app is using your internal space if it's either your Offline Spotify/Deezer (similar) music dragging your space, or some big games with big data like Gameloft's or similar games, and try to move their files to your external sdcard.
The thing is, this error might be in regards of your internal storage insufficient space, and not your external SD card.
