Just saw that google video chat is coming out soon...or is out already for a few select phones???...or something along those lines.
So my question is, is there a ROM out with it or is there a way to put it on the leaked version of GB 2.3.3 aka TMartinPPC EvoGingerSense v0.1
I have it installed on the new version of cm7 if by gtalk you mean 1.3...
just download a 2.3.3 rom and flash the gapps over and bam it works.

I installed the first leak, and then upgraded to the latest (8/1) leak using a nice video by a user named Mejdam on YouTube
Everything works great and it's really fast. I'm loving the new 2.2 features.
(Install the new google voice search from the market, it's fantastic)
I heard that there were some things missing, like ringtones, notifications, and HTC Twitter, and I don't really miss those things.
However, there is no flash 10.1. In fact, there is no in-browser flash. I really need help on how to get it. I've read that it needs to be installed separately, but it does not work from the official Adobe website nor from the market. Can some one help me? Where I can install the latest Flash 10.1 for the browser? This is the main reason I installed the leak. Thanks in advance, and I really hope someone can guide me to install this properly.
Additional notes: The files I used to upgrade were provided by Mejdam's links on youtube. Also, I found a download link in another post that led to Flash 10.1. When I downloaded and installed the apk, I had the same old Flash I used to have in 2.1 (Slow flash)

http://shehci.ho8.com/incredible/install_flash_player.apk
install that thru Astro and u will have flash 10.1.
I believe if you just use a file explorer and go to /system/app the .apk is already there you just need to install it and your set.

on the 8/1 leak there's absolutely no flash player installed or existent. you have to download the apk and install it.
Running latest CM7 nightly, downloaded latest available GAPPS from in ROM Manager, but Google Talk has no option for video chat that I can see.
Help please =/
Nevermind, answered my own question:
20110613: This package is designed for Android 2.3.4, and will not work on 2.3.3. It contains all of the applications updated for 2.3.4, but does not include the new Google Talk with video chat due to there being no compatible library available for non-ARM7 and non-neon board devices, from Google or another OEM. This package should work on all 2.3.4 ROMs, and has the latest Android Market update in it, which includes in-app purchase support. This package is listed in the above table, ROM Manager, and latest/7/universal. It should be used with ROMs such as CyanogenMod 7.1.0 (though at the time that I'm updating this, 20110307 is still listed in the ROM Manager manifest for the CyanogenMod Nightlies).

I'm on RMK's debloated ROM and it seems to work ok.
Be sure you backup your device in the event this doesn't work.

Yea man, you aren't going to get any help without giving us more details.... What kind of apks? Where are they from? What do you mean you "can't install them"? Does it give you an error? Are you rooted? What rom? What kernal?
I had this issue a while back, go into Titanium Backup and fix permissions.
It's worth a shot.
market wont load
I installed destroyer rom on my HTC evo 4g, I have android version 2.3.3, kernel version 2.6.37.3-cyanogemmod-0123-g53c6890 [email protected] #1, (whatever that means), CPU info ARMv&7 processor rev2 (v7l), MOd vers cyanogenmod-7.0.0-rc2-supersonic-kang, build # GR140. I hope all this info helps, wasnt sure what you guys would need to help fix problem but here is whats going on.
when i click on the market icon , it acts like it wants to load but doesnt, if i clear data, it then asks to create google account,..I have a google account, but when i click okay to create google account it doesnt do anything..
not sure if this is related but also tried to install flash player and it would install..
I am really new to this, and probably shouldnt have attempted to root my phone and install other than stock stuff...but everything else works and its definetly really fast, and cool...
any suggestions
Also; i installed the new market apk. 3.3.111 , i think?,..same thing = says "must add an account to the device to continue. do you want to continue...i click yes,,and NOTHING
Please Help!!!!!
For one thing, Destoyer was based on Android 2.1 I'm pretty sure, so that COULD be an issue. I mean, it's a pretty old ROM.
Hey man, I say flash a new rom, try some of these listed below
e3d shooter port (has 4g and sense 3.0)
Synergy (4g and sense 2.1 also extremely stable) - my daily driver
FEARmede (no 4g, runs sense 3.5) - Jared and dropzero work hard on this and things are getting fixed everyday.
if you like aosp try
cyanogen mod (4g very stable, have to install gapps to get market)
miui (no 4g, very clean ui, iphone replica almost is your an iphone fan)
savage mod 1.4 (4g, stable, the rom i run when using aosp)
I am running cm7.1 I cannot install any non market apps unknown sources are checked but I cannot get apostle to install. I get to the install screen try to push the button and it dose nothing. I have the stock kernal. Also since o Jane upgraded to 7.1 my video chat dose not work I use oovoo because this is the only app that work on Canada to US.

Not sure if it will help, but it certainly did the trick for me.
HI there folks. I just rooted and installed ICS CM9 nightly from today on my LG Nitro but it's missing some core applictions (play store, nav, etc). How can I get these installed back on here? Or can I go back to stock Gingerbread ROM?
You have to flash gapps. Search around for the latest version.

HOpefully still some people following this. How do I fix calendar sync? It doesn't look like calendar is installed properly as it shows as "Sync com.android.calendar". Pretty sure that is not right. Also Sync Browser is not working. How do I fix all this stuff? Thank you.
