I'm considering replacing the stock messaging application with SMS Pro, and just wanted to know what are peoples experiences of this app, pros and cons?

Before I got my Blue Angel I had a Treo 600 for ages and I still miss some of its cool features (and size/weight).
One of the nice things about SMS on the Treo was that it would organise the messages into a thread between you and each sender/recipient so that they would appear like a chat or IM session.
Anyone seen this on PocketPC ?
This chat style IM setup is standard on most Android smart phones - if you don't have it, you should consider the app market for Chomp or GOsms
Since Win Mobile supports this feature from 6.1 onward, you can also use a Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5 ROM, both of which can be found in the forum here.
Works quite nice on my Device.
In previsious ROM all was very nice oredered, like a conversation between 2 people in chat, messenger or icq.... i upgrade today to another ROM and i forgot to check what was the name of this "sms interfae/program"

Windows Mobile 6.1 has the "threaded" chat style sms your looking for. WM 6.0 does not have it. What rom are you running? I think it can be enabled/disabled in 6.1 also but I have not tried.
If you want to add it via another program search for threaded sms. I just use the one built into wm6.1, and I haven't tried any of the others like the palm threaded.
I am looking for a sms and mms interface better than the one included inthe htc hd wm6 os....

VITO SMS (not freeware) is the best i tried so far.. very finger friendly.. next is pocketcm contacts that can handle sms
dont use mms so i never bothered looking for an app to handle them!

So, despite the fact that I have an HD2, with it's massive screen and awesome internals, I haven't liked using anything other than the really old-school Today Plugins. Sense bugs the crap out of me, and I'm still not convinced on Titanium.
I use most all of the standard Today Plugins that come with WinMo, but if I'm using HTC Messaging (which I would like to stay with), it doesn't come up in the usual 'Messaging' plugin. Would it be possible for someone to throw together a plugin that fits in with the other standard ones, and just works with HTC Messaging? Or if anyone could point me to some helpful links, I'll give it a shot.

Or, here's another idea. I use Windows Live exclusively on my device, and as you can see in the screenshot, I use the Windows Live plugin for my email. Would it be possible to mod the existing Messaging plugin to show results and link to the HTC Messaging app? Seems like that would make life easier.
