Does anyone know if the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD is available yet? I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
Is anyone else waiting for it to come out (or already have one)? I haven't used them before, but I thought I should (especially since I just paid $700+ for this phone ).
No but I bought a skinomi and they have a similar product with a great warranty.
They are actually available from Car Phone Warehouse from today.... But its only the front piece not the whole device!!!

Does CPW ship to the USA? I'd love an InvisibleShield ...all the front shields I've tried don't line up right. :-\
How did it turn out?
Everything lines up properly?

I will follow to see how it go's , i think the backside is too rough, for it too stick.
I ordered skinomi (full body) clear back, from Amazon. It said "in stock" and to expect delivery between May 12-14.
On another note I ordered EZguardz screen protectors from Amazon. 5 for $2.00 with free shipping. They came in yesterday in a regular envelope from USPS. They look to be the same "urethane" material as zagg, bodyguardz, skinomi, etc. Instructions give two installation techniques, one with water and the other dry.
I cant wait for the bodyguardz version. The full body kit comes with 2 sets of backs and fronts. Best bang for the dollar and they are high quality.
Let's hope the skin has the correct dimensions.

I went away this weekend and my phone felt naked without a case and screen protector. I was so scared I'd damage it. Anyway, before I went away I emailed Zagg to ask if they did a shield for the S2.
While I was away I popped into CPW and they said they did have some Zagg shields, but had sold out.
When I got back I had an email from Zagg saying they didn't yet make a shield for the S2. Most confusing.

mate, would you mind advising me the best one from skinomi (or one you bought and satisfied)
I bought a Case-mate Gelli case from CPW shop yesterday. They also had the Zagg InvisibleShield in stock.
P.S. I have a Zagg InvisibleShield on my iPad, and the surface is a bit orange peely. Is it the same material on smaller devices?
P.P.S The Case-mate case came with a screen protector too, but it was completely wrong (looked like it was for a Galaxy S). The Gelli case is a good fit though.
Zagg just released their invisibleSHIELD. Can`t post the link to their page because of my few messages, go check their page.
Regards,
Sebastian Moreno
Zagg Invisible Shield now available at ebay and their website. the front part, next to microphone seem not well designed, it's been cut like curve shape. Not happy with Zagg design but more better quality protector out there other than Zagg.

Well I received my package in the mail today and what do ya know, its the carbon fiber skin I ordered! I bought a skin because I highly dislike cases, it always adds bulk and it really peeves me. Took me about half an hour to install it and I think I did a good job. Doesn't quite cover it 100% but i guess its enough.
Pros: Looks amazing
I like the texture
pretty good coverage
Cons: wasn't expensive, but it wasn't cheap either ($20)
Afraid it might peel (will update this in a few weeks)
still kinda slippery, possibility of it falling =\
I apologize for the blurry pics, I will post better ones once my camera is charged.
P.S. I also have a SGP Ultra-Oleophobic screen protector on, best screen protector I have used.
If you want to buy your own: Skinomi Carbon Fiber
SGP Ultra-Oleophobic
Looks quite good. I just wish they would make one that has front and back coverage. Having a cf back but stock front looks like skinomi did a half assed job.

That's why I put "The OP included the link" part. Just wanted to specifically point out that it's cheaper on amazon in case someone just googled skinomi and found their site lol. I would have ended up ordering from skinomi if I hadn't checked amazon first (wanted to take advantage of prime for shipping then found out it was cheaper) so I wanted to make sure others were aware.

I have the same thing, since this doesn't affect the car dock. I used the same skinomi carbon fiber kit on my Droid X, doesn't just peel off, you have to peal it off if you want it to come off..
I did use the screen protector that came with the kit, if you have any bubbles or blurs, it will go away within a couple of days.. I had 3 bubbles show up on my screen the next morning after installing, but it went away in 2/days.. I can't even tell I have it on, looks just like it did before I installed the screen protector..

They work fine just like they did for my Captivate too - put a T-shirt over your front buttons and try pressing them, does the same thing!
OP - Looks like "skinomi" charged you $20 for a pre-cut version of what you could have done yourself from an $8 strip from CarbonFiberFilm.com.... but hey, the cuts look good from what I can see in the pics, and it solves the issues people keep asking me about rounding off the corners on the back cover. I didn't do the back cover for a reason, so if you want to, buy this!

Phantomskinz chromatics skins are pretty good. They don't have any for the GS3 yet. But I got the carbon fiber look about two years ago for my HTC Glacier and it looked and held up pretty good. Installation was a little tricky, but its worth it IMO.

That is very tempting at that price!
The full body especially, but I dont think the slim hard back case would fit with it so I might just get the screen
I have read that after over a year the glue can turn yellowish
Does anyone have a xo skins "case fit" screen protector? If so would you mind posting a pic?
I bought the regular one for my s3 and have been very happy with it.. a couple tpu cases showed up yesterday tho and they peeled up some of the edges of my standard fit protector.. pissed..
Anyhoo.. I'd like to see it on our phones if its a substantial enough change to warrant forking over another 14 bucks for a case fit one.. only had this dang thing on for 2 weeks..

Sorry, no pics, but I had a case fit from xoskins on my GNex and it did make a difference with TPU cases.
I bought a few Cruzerlite cases off Amazon, and the case fit was a perfect match. Sat on the screen just barely away from the case.
I would send an email to their customer service (http://xoskins.com/contact-us) and let them know you made a "mistake", and are using a case now. I bet they'll send you a case fit for free as a replacement.
They've always been great to me!

I'm going to try 2 things:
1. I bought a Diztronics case from Amazon, and it came with a screen protector. There's a noticeable gap around the edge of the screen, but the quality of the case and protector are awesome.
2. I ordered protectors from bestskinsever.com. $8.99 for a full phone protector. I've used them in the past, and they are good for the price. If you check their site, they have recently upgraded their skins to match xoskins / Invisible Shield HD quality. I'm waiting for them to show up, so I'll update later.
I think XO will only need your email address you used when placing the order. That's all I've ever given them.
Shoot them an email with all the info you can remember... worst thing they'll say is no

Seidio needs to get on board and make some cases. As well as otterbox. I hate this phone for the sole reason of no 3rd party vender support. I always had a seidio case on my phones.
I ordered the Nillkin Ultra Thin Matte Cover Case. I think the dimpled texture on the back of it will make the phone a little less slippery. I'll post pics after I get it.
I received the Black Folio Case free for pre-ordering the phone. Regular price is $50.
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/cases/sku6610235.html
It's basically a front cover attached to a new back cover, replacing the stock back cover altogether.
The Good: It looks great and covers the screen well. It contains cutouts so you can see the home button LED and talk on the phone with it closed. Having the screen turn off when the cover is closed is nice. I understand installing the case enables wireless charging but am unable to verify this as I don't have a wireless charger.
The Bad: Zero protection on any other part of the phone. In addition, folding the case around so I can hold the phone in one hand causes the cover to stick out slightly past the edge of the phone itself, so it can dig into the fingers after awhile.
Summary: It's a nice case for free, but I wouldn't pay $50 for it.
Whoa, the 3rd case in the op that I just ordered. Be careful, amazon doesn't tell you the shipping cost!!!! I got charged 5 freaking bucks!!! Not buying on amazon again.

I got that case on Amazon as well, but I am an Amazon Prime member so my shipping was free for 2-day delivery. Not a bad case, ordered a spare but don't really need it.
Installed last night and very impressed. Had 3 small patches of spider web, 2 of which have gone on their own and the 3rd is hardly noticeable and I have a feeling this will go too.
There's a slight lift around the edges of the earpiece, I guess that's down to the glass on the phone not being completely flat.
I've had a Spigen tr and a Nillkin, neither of which went on as well as the Anker - although that could be just me having more practice!
Oleophobic coating is also working nicely, a few smears but overall very good indeed.
I'd definitely recommend one especially if you don't want to pay the premium for Spigen.

This is with a Spigen Ultra Hybrid..
Just got one of these myself. Its pretty good but my cruzerlite tpu case is not working well with this SP. Might need to get a different case

I wish this was available in Canada =(
Just put mine on yesterday and only ended up with one small bubble in the top left area of the phone and no spider webs (w00t w00t!)
I have it paired with a Spigen Slim Armor and it fits on JUST about right. Not sure if it's putting pressure on the glass screen but it looks like it fits perfectly. We'll see how long it lasts with it.
Texture on the glass screen is amazing. Neither I or my co-workers could feel any type of difference.
bought this and have small spiderweb at bottom.. still happy, very high quality.
hope sw goes away after time.
I agree, wish I could find these in canada. $15 bucks I'm willing to spend, $35 not so much.

if you don't care waiting a few weeks, you can buy this Glass-M (0.15mm) for 19.99$ US free shipping to canada :

I just installed mine tonight. I love it. Feels great and have no issues with the touch screen.
I could have lined up the protector a little better, but despite that I only have a couple a small air bubbles that should go away.
I highly recommend it! I just wish my cruzerlite case would still work with it. Oh well...

Shame about the cases not working well.. Spigen Hybrid is fine, not noticed any issues as yet.
Can you please provide some pictures? :good:
How thick is this screen protector?
I'll take some later :good:
0.38mm I think, feels very nice though.. not too thick at all.
Many thanks!
I can't seem to find the UK or German amazon site for this?
How does it compare to Mime Ghost glass?

No...Look to the title. This is the link to "AnkerĀ® Screen Protector for Google Nexus 5 [3 Pack] Xtreme Scratch Defender Ultra-Clear High-Response Premium with Lifetime Warranty"
The Pet film screenprotectors....
Oh that's weird.. The link came from my order confirmation from Amazon for the glass protector! I didn't read it, just assumed it would be correct.. I guess they aren't selling therm.
Edit: ha just noticed that the original link in the first post goes to the wrong item now too.. Ah well.

I'm wondering when they are selling them again. I'm doubting between Anker or Mime Ghost screen. Which one is better? Anker offers lifetime warranty though!
Not sure, I've not used the Mime yet.. Only this, the Spigen and the Nillkin. The Anker has been the best so far, it's still on my phone and not chipped, which is an improvement!

i got one recently about 2 weeks ago, and for some reason i got a huge bubble spider looking web about half inch on the bottom of my screen and about 2 small spider webs which i didnt mind too much. I contacted them through amazon since supposedly they're bubble "free". This is the reponse i got
"Thanks for the response and sorry for the issue.
Actually we have had this issue reported and we are currently investigating it with our suppliers as it seems to be a batch issue. A replacement as much as I would have liked to make, it's not a viable option.
May I ask a second chance to make things right by issuing a refund? We will further process once we get your consent."
Ever since then the screen protector is not available, i didnt want a refund because i liked the screen protector but that half inch bubble its getting on my nerves. So i went ahead and accepted the refund will be trying Nilkin i guess.
I got this screen protector a couple weeks ago, too, and I have a big bubble at the bottom that hasn't gone away. I just called and they said they have made some manufacturing changes to the protector which should (hopefully) resolve the bubble problems. However, the new batch won't be ready for 1-2 weeks.
I am going to wait for a new one. They will call me when they are ready to be shipped.
