Which one for me ?

Hi everyone.
Currently i have root slide rom installed and i need to update it because t-mobile came up with their update over network and this stupid message comes up every few hours.
Anyways those are my expectations:
- Basic fast rom.
- No extra crapware preinstalled.
- Needs to have newest radio.
- Wifi tethering.
- STABLE
Thats all i need.
Any recommendations as to which rom would be the best for me ?

I think that if tethering is a must have, you're basically looking at 2.1 roms.
I'd go with Slide MR1.

Thats the one i have no now. It doesnt include latest t-mobile update.

Ah, sorry about that.
I think your only other option would be one of the X to Slide roms. Any stock based you'll probably keep getting the update notification and 2.2 roms are iffy about tethering (at best) from what I understand.
You might want to search through the Slide MR or OTA rom thread to see if there's a way to prevent the update notification if you haven't already. (Though you probably have.)

You want the CR OTA MOD 1.35.531...that's the latest stock slide rom (plus root and a2sd) with the latest radio.

Just starting this thread (if it wasn't already) to see what ROM you're currently running and what you like about it. I think this will be helpful to those that are interested on trying different ROM's!

Stock with baconbits. 1.5GHz.

Stock. Not even rooted.

First day that the G2 had perm root i didn't even wanna do it till Cyanogenmod came out for the G2 and right when i read on xda that it was finally here i jumped on it and rooted the G2 and applied Cyanogenmod right away! Love this rom on the G1 and i still love it on the G2

[Q] help for a newbie? :)

i have an evo that i bought when the op sys was still at 2.1. i rooted with unrevoked...no problems. i have recently decided to upgrade to a newer version of froyo, however i am not sure how to proceed.
last night, i installed unrevoked-forever, and now i need instructions on what rom to upgrade to and still keep root. i've browsed the forums, but it's all greek to me. i know how to flash a rom, and am fairly comfortable with doing that part of the procedure. i just want to upgrade the op sys to be able to take advantage of some of the new features that aren't present in 2.1, and NOT LOSE ROOT, as i use my tether often.
can anyone please guide a sistah on the right path?

Download the "odexed" version of the rom from here. You will have the latest Froyo version as well as maintain root.

if i were you, i'd try a custom rom. not just a rooted stock one. try myn's warm twopointtwo if you want a nice, smooth, fast, themed, stock-like experiance.

Try a sense rom like koni elite series 3 with a netarchy kernel then when ur used to.custom rom try a aosp I suggest destroyer v2 rom.or end of days

How can I root my epic 4g that is running stock EL30? I want to remove the bloatware and may want to add a custom rom. Can someone help me out and point me into the right direction. Thanks in advance.

I hope you guys can help me. I have a T-Mobile Mytouch 3G Slide w/ Froyo. I want to root this phone and install a Rom . I try every way to do it but nothing. What's the best way to root this phone. Plus you guys know any cool 4.0 or 4.1 Roms for this phone.
