The camera app and deleting images. - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I know you can use the trash can button while previewing the image you just took but after the preview period expires is what I'm referring to.
When your in the camera app and select the photo icon (bottom right) it takes you to your photos. While you are in this view there doesn't seem to be a way to delete images. When you hit the menu button in this view you have useful options like: vcast videos (not), set as, slideshow, select player, show on map and details.
Once the image has been saved it seem the only way to delete it is by opening the gallery app separately (5 or 6 button presses away).
It seems to be an oversight in my opinion.
Okay, I just discovered the error in my ways. A quick tap of the image while in this view will give you your options that menu key or long press would not. I'm a happier camper now.

Noob Question: Pictures Tile Picture

Hey everyone,
Hope you all are enjoying the wp7 experience. i know i am! This may be a noob question but after you pin the pictures app to the start screen, there is a picture that automatically populates it. How do you change that to a specific picture? i cant seem to find out how? thanks,
it doesn't allow you to select what picture you want, but it changes on its own every so often (not sure what the interval is, but i think its in terms of days), to a different picture in your gallery.

To change the picture on the picture tile on Home page, Tap Pictures tile, scroll to Pictures hub then hold your finger somewhere above the pics & a context menu will appear. Select 'Change background' & then select the pic you want to use. This changes the tile & the pic is also used as the background for the Pictures hub. Cool eh!!!

[Q] Little help with acrobat PDF documents

Any Google drive saved PDF docs are accessible.
When I open a PDF, it opens in the tablet with Acrobat and I can see it immediately and use it, no problem.
When I tap on the right side I can access all PDFs by next tapping Top Left corner and I see a list of recent documents.
How do I wipe out this list as many of these documents are no longer on my google drive but are still shown on the Recent documents
Have clicked on Settings but no Trash Can displays.
Have also tried to Hold Down finger on one of the many items in Recent documents in the hope that a Delete would show, no such thing.

Perhaps by clearing the PDF app cache in the settings menu?
When I access Settings via tap on the bottom left side icon, no such item displays

Gallery from Camera only showing last photo taken

When I go to preview photos after taking a few pictures, (by clicking the gallery circle at the bottom right in the camera) I can only see the LAST picture taken and do not have the ability to swipe to any others. I never had a phone that worked like this and its kinda annoying to have to leave the camera app, then go open the gallery and find latest photos just to preview them, possibly delete them, then have to go BACK into the camera app to retake and repeat jumping between apps..
Is there a setting I have on that's causing this?
This function (or lack of) really just doesn't make any sense.
You need to go reset the default app that's associated. For example, I previously had clicked that preview picture and opened with (and set to default) Google photos, which only shows one picture and does not swipe. I went into google photos and cleared defaults, then went back into the camera app and clicked the preview picture. I then selected gallery and it allows me to swipe through all my pictures.

Can't attach to a text message

5x
7.1.1
In Android Messages, there is no way to attach a file (photo, etc). Clicking on the + sign next to the message opens up stickers, without any other attachment option. The hamburger menu doesn't have any options.
If I trigger an SMS from any photo app, Messages shows the photo correctly. I just can't add a photo from within Messages.
All permissions are set for the app.
For reference, my text box looks like this:
[+] [ Type an SMS message] [smiley] [>SMS]
Anyone else have this problem?

It is cumbersome, but here's what you do L. :
1) Tap the + button. You should now see five icons just above your navigation bar. They represent in this order, : Stickers, Camera, Recent Photos, Microphone, and Location.
2) Press the third button which looks like miniature mountains. On the left, you should now see a large square with a centered mountain logo then your recent photos.
3) Tap the large square on the left that has the mountain logo and you should now see a file browser list.

Thank you for helping out this blind old man! I completely missed the icon bar. Forest for the trees, and all.

Question Gcam XML files?

To make a long story short I'm coming from a Galaxy note 9. I've been a fan of the camera quality on their phones for many years. I'd like to know if there is anybody that has a XML file to load on the gcam settings to have a picture quality both when I take the photo and when I review the photo that will be similar if not super close to the Samsung camera picture qualities?
lol
Next, launch Google Camera, double tap anywhere on the dark area around the capture button. It will then prompt you to Choose config, scroll the list if you have saved a number of xml files, or else just tap on the one listed and tap Restore to invoke the settings. GCam will then restart itself.
