Midnight 5.2 BYOR has the included animation but like previously posted you can just flash those animations on whatever ROM you like

When you say nexus s stock theme, I'm guessing you mean stock gingerbread. There is no way to get this on the DZ with out rooting. I

Even if you didn't want to install a custom rom you could root, install CWM recovery and use UOT kitchen to create the NEXUS S theme.I believe that it will theme stock roms now.
But to be honest root and install a custom rom and turn you phone into a super phone

[MOD] [AOSP] STOCK BOOT ANIMATION [4.03] by Deodexed

I made this package to replace the boot animation for any 4.03 AOSP ROM's. I tested it on mine (ModAGnex V2) and a few others. Especially the AOKP ROM since I don't like the pink unicorns =) ha ha ha (TeamKang Rom's are great).
Instructions:
Download: HERE
Use clockwork recovery and flash the .zip file.
reboot!
Done (No need to wipe or do anything else.)
Let me know if you have problems.....
About to flash, I'll let you know how it goes.

Its the stock animation. And it should work with any rom that keeps their boot animation in the /system/media/ directory.

hey bro just flashed, and it didnt work, i also clean cache but no go, thanks anyways, hoping u or anyone else post a working zip...
I had this flashed also. I think the animations are indeed changed. Though from touch whiz launcher doesn't do the animation. You can verify by allowing down the animation speeds
Hey u guys.
The animation zip will NOT work without a kernel that supports it. Try Kettle Corn by shabby in original dev. This is because the phone uses .qmg for at animations. I've researched this issue a ton and as of right now you can only do it with a custom kernel that supports it.

[REQUEST] Custom Boot Animations for Nexus 4

I was wondering if someone could start a thread for custom boot animations for this device? Also, would custom boot animations for other devices such as the galaxy nexus work on this device?
Yes my friend.
All boot animation for all phones with 720p HD Screen work on you NEXUS 4.
Goodluck. And enjoy.

Depends what .zip it is. Some are flashable, some are not. Open the zip to find out.
If the first contents of the zip is /part0/ /part1/ it is not flashable.
Otherwise it'd go to /data/ or /system/ -----> flashable.
Just need to get kejar up in here. He has a galaxy nexus boot animation thread on rootzwiki. They should all be compatible. I pulled the aperture science logo boot animation from the GLaDOs kernel cause its pretty simply awesome. Ha.

[BOOT LOGO][BOOT ANIMATION] Worldcup

Nice man! I had just seen the update, and I really wanted this

Very nice bootamination. Right after the stock one.
This is the worst bootanimation, I'm really not interested about World Cup, so this is big minus for Motorola from me.
I really do not understand why the football must be everywhere.
Any chance of a flashable zip for boot logo?
Thanks for the boot animation, it looks nice.

Here it is:
signed-stock-worldcup-bootanimation.zip 12.6 MB
This is a CWM flashable zip contains the animation and the matching bootlogo. If you use cm theme manager you must set the bootanimation in it to the default (holo) one. The animation will be installed to the /data/local/ folder so its survives system updates.
