[Q] Lock key ad keyboard open...anyone else out there with problem?

Okay well my phone is just the norm Desire Z NAM which has been flashed to a HTC stock image so all the apps from bell that doesn't work is not there, but i am noticing some either software problems hardware problems with the keyboard
When you have your keyboard open and after you sent a message and you press the lock button with your keyboard open, does your screen go off and come back up? and when you just leave the device with the keyboard open does your screen like go off sleep and suddenly wake back up. like when your in a car falling asleep and then suddenly a bump wakes you up.
I am just wondering if anyone else out there is having this same problem, maybe its not a problem but a thing to help prevent accidental bumping of the lock key?

Oh and anyone with problems of your Desire Z having problem of restarting randomly and must pull the battery inorder for the phone to start up....I read its the fact that the contacts are bad? possible

[Q] Lock problem

Trying to get rid of all problems on this phone. This is the last problem I had. The lock screen.
For some reason, every time I press the lock button to lock the screen, it'll lock. But it'll turn on literally a second after and I end up having to press it a second time.
Nothing too big but it's starting to drive me crazy. Anyone else experiencing it?

Black screen problem, please help.

Recently i got this problem with my play, the thing is when i press the lock button to unlock the phone it doesn't show the slide lock thing, instead it just do nothing like i didn't press the button.
And i thought that there was something with the button, but i found out that the touch screen was actually working.
So i pulled out the battery and turned it on and i got the light working, but when i lock the screen and try to unlock it the same thing happen.
I did a factory reset from the phone, but it didn't change anything.
And i have the latest update from Sony Ericsson and root.

[Q] Lock Screen Problem [SOLVED]

Hi,
I have a problem with my lock screen. If I lock my GS using the power button, the slide to lock screen comes up upon pressing the power button again.. fine no problem there.
But, if I let the screen timeout and the press the power button to bring the phone outta standby. There is no lock screen. I am brought straight to the home screen.
I cannot see, or have never come across and option to enable this. I had a look around the Q&A GS forms also. Anyone have any ideas?
(hope it's not something ridiculously simple I've missed)

what is selected in automatically lock? if there is for example 1 minute, and you turn your device in this minute on then there is no lockscreen, but after this minute the lockscreen is back

Ok I've played around with security settings and tried to find the "automatically lock" option. I seems this was not visible until I selected "pattern Unlock".
I set it to 30min at some stage and seem to have forgot about it.
When I set it back to "Immediately", the problem was solved.

Inconsistent Locking

My LG G8 (LM-G820UM) Updated to Android 10 within the last month, and since the update I've noticed an issue with my device failing to actually lock when pressing the power button. The screen will go black, but when pressing it again to wake the device goes to my home screen rather than showing the lock screen. This issue is intermittent and I cannot pin down what causes this. My 'Secure lock settings' show that pressing the power key should instantly lock the phone. I do not have face unlock on, but I do have Hand ID and fingerprint unlock on.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated in helping to find the root of this issue.
