Can i flash the new HTC official rom on my device?

I tried downloading the newest HTC ROM update---says my device is not supported for this update. ???????
I downloaded the file using a provided serial in another thread for the WWE version.
Can I use this file to flash my rom????
My diamond is an UNBRANDED and UNLOCKED version. I assume its a UK or US version. I use it with my ATT&T sim card.
It's a 1.93.422.4 WWE currently...
Any reason this 2.03 rom WONT work for me?
Can I use it?
I started the flash process just to see if it would give me an error or incompatible message and it did not. It was ready to install.
Any thoughts?

I have flashed MANY phones, many times. I am very aware of how to do it and Yes I have read that page.
I am just trying to see IF ANYONE KNEW offhand if that new WWE ROM would work over my existing ROM without bricking it.

If you got it off the Diamond page and know it's a Diamond ROM for sure, then you can flash it. If you don't know where you go it or have no idea for which device it came for, it has to be ported.

I am looking for a WM6.1 ROM for Samsung i710. Tried searching through the forum and could only find one relevant post but that too was a Kitchen developed for this phone long time back... (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317288)
Also, realized that u need a special cable to flash ROM to this phone... Tried searching for it but couldn't find it anywhere (I am based in India.).. Is there a way to flash the ROM using SDCard... I have done it on my Artemis.. not sure if this option is available for i710..
If any one of the always helpful members can help me or redirect me to a location where I can get help on this.. It would be really great...

Which European ROM? WWE?

if your problem is the serial to get the ROM, I suggest you to search for this serial in the forum (I've been there before).

I need Rogers Original Rom for HTC Diamond

I am sorry because this topic might seem repetitive.
I have been researching but I was not able to find the Rogers Rom for HTC Diamond.
I have been playing around with many different roms but I have to send my device back for the repair.
Could someone please give me the download link??
I'd prefer a cab since I do not know how to install the other type of files, such as NBH and etc.
If it happens to be the NBH file, I would appreciate someone providing me the instructions on how to install NBH Rom on my device. (I'm a noob btw )

there is no way for the rom to present in CAB format. please check sticky post for how to install rom

What is Sticky post? and where can I find it? and even if I found out on how to install it, I would need to find the rom. Would you know where to find those??

I live syria and I got my device fron uk , so I can't get the update OTA

Hi, why do you want that particular version? 3.06.405.1 was a leaked test ROM, the most recent official update is 3.12.405.1.
If you want the stock, un-rooted version of 3.12.405.1, go to the Development section, look at the "Roll Up Thread" sticky, and find the link to "Shipped ROMs".

I didn't know it was a test rom , and I thought it is the official arabic one
I need the official sense 3.0 with GB2.3.5 with arabic support (3.12 doesn't support arabic)
because I can't risk my business I only trust official roms
if you have any idea where I can find it please give the link

Some of the ROMs based on 3.06.405.1 were very stable, although it was a test ROM. I don't know if that's because it was mostly bug-free or just that the ROM devs are so good.

It was't the official arabic rom
the official arabic rom is 3.13.415

1. flash any official rom (sense 3.0 with GB2.3.5) that you can use.
2. install the "morelocal2" app from the market, and then choose the arabic .

@nustafa76:::there's a user (bigsoul) at ce4arab trying to port the official arabic rom and it needs 2 days or three from today I guess,but It will be (zip) not RUU
