That method stopped working. RUU or flashing the update zip in stock recovery are the only two methods.

One X Rommed NEED HELP!!

Okay so I rommed my phone with CM10 Rom and then every time i reboot it, it needs to go to the computer and do the boot boot.img thing
Is there any way without doing that?
Hi mate, there is a way of doing it so that re-booting doesn't need re-flash.
I would suggest doing some searches before posting !
Here is a link to a VERY handy tool-kit to speed up the process if it continues:

Do you have SuperSU installed?
You need to do
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Not
Fastboot boot boot.IMG
Then it will stick on restarts

You are not using the correct fastboot command
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Else the image is only used until next reboot

HTC One V stock recovery.img

I need the stock recovery.img file for this phone. I tried the all in one tool kit and the stock recovery.img file wont boot.
I have the softbrick issue with /sdcard not mounting in CWMrecovery and I need the stock recovery to fix the issue with the "clear Storage" option.
There are guides here on xda about running the ruu and pulling the recovery out of your temp folder on windows. Xda's search function and Google are your best friends. Please make an effort to search for the info you want before making a thread.
