Hello, I keep getting some small blue box with a white question mark inside

It seems to appear above images (flash movies are working though) and not all of them, i can see images quite well.
This is quite annoying and it doesn't occur on Opera Mini browser, just in the STOCK BROWSER of HTC desire.

I don't remember seeing this white question mark using default stock rom, so ... any advice ? I also tryied to clean browser cache and data but it didn't help.

just a stab in the dark...do you have images turned off, or an ad blocker?
adfree, but those same images works with OperaMini and removing adfree nothing changes

Flashplayer is installed and works correctly
Ok, I solved this by myself: the problem was and host file previously modified by the pre-rooted rom. I restored the file manually and everything is working. Just an AdBlock matter.

I've been having the same problem with my S3 from day 1. Even had the handset replaced to no sucess. It works fine on wifi but whenever i go onto mobile data i get question marks everywhere. Going metal looking for a solution!

My DASH always reverts back to the default home screen.
I have PHMRegEdit loaded on the DASH. Does anyone know how to edit the registry so that I can select a home screen and when I reboot it stays that way?

I downloaded your music plugin and copied it to my device (HTC S621), but it´s not working...
It complains it cant find the musicplayergridview (or one of it´s components...).
I´d be very gratefull you (or anyone ) could post the files required for the plugin to run.
BTW, i´m running wm6, from factory (got the device 1 month ago from my operator - Brasilian VIVO).

I installed the .cab in to my device and now I have the window$ media player plugin working on my S621´s home screen!

If you have time, I quess I need help. I unlocked the phone, reboot, and transfer your file to phone. Then when I try to install it give the message of unsucessful. Am I not doing it correctly?

Icons are too big so image becomes blurred...otherwise nice...I´m keeping the htc sliding panel...

Thank you for your response. I downloaded it again and it worked. I guess I am new. Thank you for your patience. Again, your work it great.
I have tried applying CyanogenMod, Frankenstein FROYO, VIPERrom (FRoZeN), Mammon's Bonsai4All (I want this one), and MeatRom (found on sdx-developers.com). All of them resulted in the phone going to the Samsung Mobile boot screen, but not getting any further. Even worse than just sitting there some of the roms made my restore attempts not work. Fortunately I found out about Odin flashing, so I managed to get back to a stable state and restore.
Here is some information about my phone if it helps. If anything else is needed I'll dig that up too.

A couple of those mentioned ROMs are EXT4 only and must use Clockwork v3. Clockwork being on the v2.5 build may be your issue.

Yep, it was all because clockworkmod wasn't up to date. Rom Manager really needs to be updated or fixed because it doesn't provide any way to get the newest version.

But i don't suggest you to do that cause it suck.
It shows default gingerbread launcher, and default lockscreen, and touchscreen doesn't work.
I managed to get touchcscreen and screen off working, but can't understand where is honeycomb launcher...
That's actually what I wanted to check. Seems they have foregone updating the regular screen layouts. =/
They honeycomb launcher is in the XLarge folders of launcher2.
Seems there's still holding some stuff for AOSP. The HC gallery isn't there either.

This is my first post so please be understanding.
I have been using the phone from the beginning as a regular user. I haven't made any modifications or changes to it (like root change etc.)
Recently, the official update of MIUI to version 13.0.8 appeared and after that the application selection stopped working. I had no problems with the phone before.
For example: An attempt to open a pdf file brought up a window with a list of various applications that handled the file. The same thing happened with other files or URLs. I have several browsers, so depending on what I wanted to open the Internet address with, I indicated the right choice.
Now the window shows up, but trying to tap the three dots immediately brings up a random app, each time a different one, no additional window pops up. No list of any apps expands.
I thought that maybe the problem will solve itself after resetting the phone. I set everything up again, did not restore any backups. Unfortunately, the problem is the same. I don't have any default settings.
What can be done? The problem is very irritating. I have no idea.
Apart from this problem, everything else works fine.
I will appreciate any help or suggestions

Hello, I suffered from the same bug for a long time until I found the culprit.
You just have to uninstal updates of the Xiaomi Mi Browser (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mi.globalbrowser). Sadly it can't be easily uninstalled. Maybe it can be done with ADB, but I have not tried yet. Remember to disable automatic updates from the PlayStore to avoid it to update. This will cause the bug again.
I also suffer other bugs like an ugly and forced dark mode when the battery is below 40%. I was always tempted to install a custom ROM, but the stock camera features (manual focus, lens distortion correction, 108 MPX, zoom...) are important for me.
Thanks for the help. This solved part of the problem. Now I have a choice when opening files but still no choice when opening URLs.
