Ed Hardy Theme (for Black Shadow or other...)

I use many of the ROMs here and thought it would be cool to give back a little bit. I made this for myself and thought maybe other people would like it.
Its bootscreens and wallpaper that are based on Ed Hardy Vintage Tattoo Wear designs by Christian Audigier. It looks awesome on Black Shadow with Guava Bubbles enabled and the attached Wallpaper set at full opacity (which is why I put in the Windows Mobile 6 forum, I made it for Black Shadow, but it would work with anything as long as you can use CustomRUU to flash it.)
To install, use a ROM kitchen to pack the SubSplash and MainSplash and then install the .nbh with the rapper, and replace the Windows Bootscreen with the welcomehead.96.png file. Use File Explorer to go to the image and set it as Today screen with full opacity.
First image is boot screens second is wallpaper and Windows splash.

yeah the two pics at the bottom of the post are the boot screens, and the second one is also the wallpaper
i couldn't find an easy way to take a screenshot so i can't show it active lol

Try this for screenshot. Freeware. Map it to button 5.

It's not gonna work on boot\splash screens though, is it?

[IDEA] New Lockscreen :)

1st of all, sorry if this doesn't belong here! Seriously, i am sorry for that but i just had to get this idea out for all the awesome Developers out there
Ok, so everyone right now is problaby using the standard lock screen or Sterricsons Lock screen.
They're both almost alike just a different look (oh and the new features you get with S. Lock screen like the music and battery life) so how about making one thats more....active i guess you can say...
Is it possible to make one somewhat like the iPhone (sorry for saying that ) but instead of sliding the little bar sideways, how about sliding it up.
For example: Looking at the picture below is a Hero Lock screen, how about having it look like that and then sliding it up to bring up the home screen? i think that would be awesome!
Anyone agree?
Any ideas?
Is this even possible?

you need to try the pulse rom then, it has a lockscreen you unlock by flicking up on the screen, its pretty sweet, but in the end, a lockscreen is to keep your phone from doing too much on its own without your interaction, don't get me wrong i LOVE and thoroughly embrace stericson's lockscreen, i can barely use a rom that doesn't have it.

search the market for lock 2.0 - theres your iphone imitating lock screen..
HOWEVER i would love to see some savvy hacker make us/port us the hero lock screen to CM builds........ prob gna be difficult with it being tightly linked with sense ui... howver do it... and it big donations from me

I want the Pulse lock screen...that sh*t is sexy.

search youtube for moto pulse. you flick it up bit like how u flip hero down

I tried the Lock 2.0 but it really doesnt work...you cant see your notifications and is somewhat slow.
But thanks, i'll check out the Motorola blur right now =) and yes! I hope someone develops this =)

you can see your notifications if you go into the apps settings and select show original notification bar.. but yeh its slow..

Fullscreen Wallpaper 480x800 fit

Can somebody tell me how to make a 480x800 wallpaper to fit fully in the home screen? The screen seems to be smaller with the black pieces up and down...

This small black pieces called task/soft bar.

It ultimately needs to be placed in picture program or app that enables resizing.
Or you can look <<HERE>> for lots of free things, wall paper that fits the blackstone right off the shelf...

YOU need to Use HD WALLPAPER Creator if you wana make a FULL Screen HQWallpaper

I had an HDwall program on my HD2 that was different from this. I'm not sure if it was part of a BSB tweak but it worked perfectly and I just deleted it by accident. I can't find it anywhere but this isn't it. Does anyone know what program I'm talking about? This was my homescreen

No idea mate - does the wallpaper setter scale down the pictures to some kind of jpeg?

Mmmh that's weird..perhaps android compresses the image chosen as wallpaper pretty much like win7 does? BTW in my humble opinion you should share that wallpaper wether we get the hang of this or not

Hahaha, i just made the wallpaper. Even i view it on gallery, still the gradient is linear. Am a graphic artist that is why it is very easy for me to notice this.
Ok, will upload the original wallpaper later on my pc, so you can test it on your desires. Thanks guys

So do you think, this type of rendering is normal? It's like we're using 65k color format.

He is telling you to download a program called "Wallpaper set and save".
I have used it too and for some reason, it seems to make the wallpaper look better.
You should try it out.
And share the wallpapers so that we can see if ours do the same.

WOW! that really did the job, thanks a lot. so the "gallery" of htc sucks i guess, or the graphic rendering of either Eclair or Froyo sucks, co'z as i still browse on the gallery, the linear gradient of the image still exist.

I have been working on some custom lockscreens based on the Start Screen tile layout and wanted to share and get some feedback. Thumbnails are below and the full size files are all included in a zip file. Thanks. (Had bad thumbnail links originaly, now fixed)

thumbnails won't show. some very cool ones in there. would be much cooler though if they were transparent in the 'windows'

I love these! Certainly opaque though...how do you make them. What do you use/would you be able to maybe make custom requests?

hmm these made the wording go all crazy on my lockscreen, any idea why?

Hmm, interesting concept, but I don't think it plays well with the lockscreen text. The clock, notification icons, and player controls get lost in the visual noise.

Transparencies in your lockscreen "post mango" do not work very well. Unfortunate but well documented.
