Gameloft's games.

Hey everyone!
Has anyone had a chance to try out some Gameloft games like N.O.V.A or Dungeon hunter?
I kind of want to buy dungeon hunter, but I'm unsure which version to select on their store since they don't list the SGS. I suppose the HTC Desire version should work, but was wondering if someone else had already tried it...

Nova works and is a good game but I heard that dungeon hunter does not work on our phones, that and the mafia gangster one both been tried and both dont work.

I have installed lets golf and of course have asphalt, both excellent games work perfectly, I have also bought the gangster one but will be downloading tonite when i get home over wifi, will update then.

I installed Real Football 10, but it's too fast >_<. Almost impossible to play. Seems like Gameloft hasn't put an FPS restriction on the game, and it's running at double/triple the FPS of Nexus One / Desire

about Hawx this one doesn't work perfect in my eyes, you have to use the virtual pad to fly.

Well it's possible, becouse i always use virtual buttons instead of this motion control (what it's called properly?).

Dungeon Hunter works perfectly, as does Nova. Really enjoying both of them -played DH through once already and just started again with a different class. I quite fancy the golf one too but really I want EA to get their fingers out their bums and make Tiger Woods for android. It's been my staple phone golf game for 3 or 4 years now and I'd love to see what they could do with it on this thing...
Anyone got an opinion on whether the golf one is any good or not?

Accelerometer ? its working for me, only thing is the game has no multi touch. Probably my fav game tho =o

why i cant find all the games from gameloft in market??
im using JG5 firmware..

i think all gameloft games for android would work on our phone. i have tried 5 of them, 6 including asphalt, and all work fine. i chose motorola milestone version.

Let's Golf is awesome! shameless Everybody's Golf rip off, but the swing meter is a lot more forgiving on this.

I downloaded the trial of Ashphalt 5 and for some reason the Samsung Apps app updated it to the full version for free!

Asphalt 5 is for free for all Galaxy owner. It is listed in “samsung apps“ if you uninstall it

Does anybody know any good free games with good graphics like gun bros or pocket legends, and i dont mean games like tetris.

Racing: jetcar stunts, need for speed shift
First person shooter: modern combat 1 and 2, nova 1 and 2
Flying: skies of glory, x plane 9
These are some impressive 3d games all are paid apps but the first person shooters except mc2 hve to be bought from gameloft. Happy gaming oh and there's a workaround for tegra 2 games too since our gpu rocks

I actually have N.O.V.A. 2 installed and running on my Epic. The only problem I have is that every time u leave the screen idle for about 10 sec, ur screen automatically goes into sleep mode, then u have to re-wake phone and the game reboots back up, which isn't a real problem like FC or something like that but still, very annoying :\ games great overall tho

- Mordern combat 2 (market) is a great game and the multiplayer is awesome (once you get the hang of it)
- Spiderman total mayhem(gameloft)...great graphics and fun game..
- samurai vengeance 2 (android market if you have chainfire 3d) great game with great graphics p.s. there is a version of it online somewhere which works on all phones without chainfire3d...google is your best friend
- Bruce Lee (?? chainfire 3d with qualcomm plugin)...looks good and fun but a bit repetitive
- PES2011 (market)...great game for soccer fans...wish it had multiplayer...lets go barcelona lol...
_ Asphalt 6 (Market) a bit laggy in the menus but gameplay is smooth

Try the keepawake widget by bk thong from android market. 1 touch and your screen won't sleep. 1 touch to deactivate. Plain, simple, effective.

What games work with the Galaxy Nexus?

Ive tried a few games. Shadow gun works perfectly and looks awesome.
All gamesloft games ive tried do not work. then run, download files but then just fail to load with errors like video cannot be played and then just say application has stopped.
What games have everyone tried?

I've the following games installed on mine and they all work perfectly:

I've tried Block Breaker 3 which runs a bit choppy but fine. Also tried Captain America but that has resolution problems with icons and texts not aligning properly.

Have anyone tried Zenonia?

i think is easier to ask and come up with a list of What Games Do Not Work with Galaxy Nexus?, than asking for what games do work, as it will be like 90% of games in the market and off the market
chances are many of the Gameloft 3D games that are Exynos / Hummingbird CPU based will not work on this phone

We generally have to assume Gameloft games WON'T work :-/
Asphalt 6 HD works great though, downloaded from the Market. Didn't work on my DHD...
N.O.V.A. 2 doesn't work.

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to ask for some good game recommendations you have for this phone. I don't play games too often on my phone, but sometimes I like to indulge.
If you have any favorites please share and describe. Although tame, I enjoy Andoku Sudoku 2, haha. I'd love to find a free (not currently rooted), turn based RPG style that is worthwhile as well.

Dead trigger. I just started messing with Amazing Alex from Rovio and its a good one if you want to use your brain.

Setup some good emulators, download a ton of roms and iso's... Bluetooth sync a ps3 sixaxis controller to use wirelessly then watch your friends drool as you play all the old classics like Zelda, chronotrigger, street fighter, mortal kombat, super Mario's, castlevanias...then laugh maniacally as you hook up the mhl hdmi adapter to your 32 inch tv and play them on the big screen lol..

And there seems to be no plans for them to update it anytime soon. Shame too. I was excited to finally play this on a better phone than my Epic 4G.

It sucks that Jetpack Joyride is iOS only atm...
There's a clone called "Run Run Bear" in the Android App Store I think... I hear it isn't the same though

I seen NBA jam and dead space listed here and I'm not able to get either of them to work. I have paid for both so if someone could point in the direction of how to get them to work it would be appreciated.
Oh and I'm running the latest cm10 if that matters

here mate some titles i've tested
working on a list now my dad uses my Gmail and he's bought like £300 worth of games so trying them now he uses the new Acer Iconia so the THD won't work but most of the rest should fingers crossed. here's some so far.
asphalt 7 works well
real racing 3 looks great
simpsons tap works great
tiny tribes didn't work for me-kept closing with no force close error
most of the THD normal versions work such as Shadowgun, zombie driver, sprinkle etc
mini motor racing works great
great big war game works well
Sega total war battles is amazing sounds really great.
the treasures of montezuma 3 works
iblast moki 2 works
symphony of eternity works
draw something works
zenonia works
flick golf works

playing around this morning after root and custom rom installation-found Retroarch-FPse all work fine with ps1 games, tested Spyro/Crash/jadecoocoon/finalfantasy/resi1 all perfect
also my boy GBA emulator works fine being playing pokemon this morning as well
going to try ps2 emulator either later today or tomorrow will update

kings bounty legions works-great strategy game for android and its free

You can't believe how good and smooth real racing 3 is on HTC One. Such a great experience.

Whilst I agree it's pretty good - you should try it on an iPhone5. It's even better.
However, I still have made the full-time switch over to a One. What a phone!

Anyone else get a Green Fuzzy screen on "Shadowguneadzone"
otherwise these are all tested to work too Vector, Pool Break Pro, Subway Surf, Epic Citadel, and Dead Trigger..

regarding RR3 sadly so sadly i still dont have my device, but it appears to be running in 1080p? pretty soon with the invation of s600 1080p phones, devs will realize not run at native 1080p on wasted pixels (even current consoles struggle with that) and instead scale up from 720p like they do on the retina iPads and regain 50% performance
two more things to keep in my mind, there is a promised GPU drivers update on the way which might come along the 4.2.2 should result in better performance as well and finally HTC own CPU governor is a little battery friendly and can drop frames so if you are willing to root at a later point, a lot more speed can be extracted with custom gaming tweaks

Give it a little time and deadzone will boot up fine. I have the same problem from time to time
