Thought it'd be a cool idea to finally get one ... has anyone tried them on the xoom? Works?
Here's a cheap example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Blueto..._Trackballs&hash=item4cf6b18756#ht_7738wt_905
he says "android compatible (1.5 only)" ... 1.5? yikes.
it's crossed my mind and the wired ones I've tried at some stores have worked pretty well, but I think I'd still rather go with the moto keyboard just because of the android shortcuts. I'm picking up something when I get paid next though.
Same keyboard on amazon claims xoom compatibility... http://www.amazon.com/Menotek-Flexible-Bluetooth-Waterproof-Keyboard/dp/B003K1VABO/
for $25 from ebay I think I am going to give it a try!
I just bought two, they are shipping from Hong Kong; it will be a few weeks until they show up. When they do arrive I will post a review. I could have bought them from Amazon, but I would have paid almost twice as much to get them a Week and a half earlier.
Got it in last night...haven't had much time to play with it, but first impression it seems pretty good. Takes a little getting used to the key press. It paired up no problem.

Got my two keyboards today. Quality is extremely good. The keyboards have a rechargeable battery that is charged via a mini USB connection. On the left side is the battery pack, non changeable, and the controls required to turn the device on and off and to initiate a pairing. Also on this side is a green light for power, and a red light for low battery.
The pairing process is started by pressing and holding the connect button, after telling the Xoom to search for devices. Once the Xoom sees the keyboard you will be prompted to enter a five digit code on the bluetooth keyboard and hit 'Enter'
An unexpected surprise was that Ctrl V and Ctrl C work for Paste and Copy.

I like the car dock even though they did not set it up to activate the car dock mode.
My car dock from them puts my evo in car mode every time.

mine will be here tomorrow ..
Let us know how it is. It's so ridiculous that Seidio comes out with one before HTC/Sprint. I've lost hope that the official dock is ever going to materialize.
I ordered the kit, it shipped yesterday but USPS tracking sucks so I have no idea when it will be here... Hopefully by the end of the week.

here is my problem, fitment issue ....
if i put the evo on the dock this is how far i can push the case down be it touches the bottom of the dock ... so the phone is being held up by the usb plug
if i insert the evo as you normally would i can rock it back and forth a little, not a soild stop at all
I got mine today. Looked great. I have a problem with mine. When I plug the phone into the cradle, my phone rings randomly, every few minutes, & sometimes it's an extended ringtone! Please tell me there's a setting that's making it do this, but I think mine is defective as well....
Hey guys...just got mine today.
I like it except one thing.
Shouldn't it put the phone in desktop dock mode?
Or did they not ground the wires the right way...
The battery info just shows a/c connected

If the wiring is right, hypothetically it should put the phone in dock mode...meaning the phone understands that it is docked, not just charging.
Unless I'm missing something...that is an option.
I got a good deal on the Motorola rapid charger on ebay, shipped for $6. It charges fine and everything is good performance-wise, but there seems to be a problem with the micro-usb fitment with my TB. When I'm unplugging the phone from the charger it seems like it's stuck in there pretty good. Rather than just pulling on it and risking damage to my phone I just tried wiggling it out. That seemed to work and after about only the 5th use the usb end of the charger came apart and part of it was actually still stuck in the phone. Well of course I almost **** my pants because that's obviously not a good thing. I did get it out of the TB with no damage done to it, but now I'm confused as to why it's so much trouble to remove the charger from the micro-usb port. I see that it has 2 little hooks on the end and I don't see any release to push in as I'm unplugging, so what am I doing wrong? I read all the rave reviews on here and Amazon both about how well the charger works, specifically for the TB. The weird part is that I don't see anyone mention having this problem, can someone help me out here? I'll attach a pic of the charger just so we're on the same page here.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is. I tried it in my Nook Color when I still had it and there was no problem at all. So that would make me think it was the TB somehow, BUT... any other micro-usb I have ever tried in the TB has ever done this. I guess I just got a defective charger, I think I'm gonna try Amazon this time and just get another. Who knows where the ebay one came from. But the weird part is the hooks on the micro-usb end, I swear I think those are not releasing like they should or something.

Sorry if this has been posted before.
I have been looking around at desktop docks for easy access to my phone while its on a desktop under my window next to my sofa, I have been looking at this one
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it or could suggest something better, I will want to charge it via the dock and possibly connect it to my PC/laptop without having to remove the phone.
That'd be awesome to have.
The only thing bad about docks like the one posted in OP, is that your phone case might be too thick, and you wouldnt be able to connect it properly. there are other non specific stands out there that can hold any phone size, and then you just plug in a micro USB cable.
personally, I use this on my desk. works perfect, and it allows me to set my tablet or whatever device im using, on the stand, and then i just plug it in.
http://www.bracketron.com/products/mobile-dock-dash-mount
might not be the prettiest thing, but it works exactly how i need it to. and you cant see the stand at all once a device it sitting on it.

I personally am using this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008KP4ZFI/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00
EVERYWHERE.
you have to add a metal plate (i put mine between the battery and the cover.. it is pretty darn thin) and then have one of these at my desk at work, my nightstand and in my car. I just slap the phone on it, and grab it off. secure, doesn't slide around, but super quick to take off. for tha cabling part, yeah.. i have a cable ziptied to it to charge if i need to.
I bought this one http://smartphonepedia.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-desktop-charging-dock.html It SUCKS. Waste of $20.00 IMO
I like the Samsung one but It needs a spare battery charger for me to pay $50.00
This is the one I'd buy right now. http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com...ery-slot.html#
Nice to see some suggestions, of what, and what not to get. I saw some bad reviews of the official one so I decided to see what this wonderful community can say about this and other options, for the charging docks another thing needed would be it needs to know when the phone is charged as well (like the normal adapter) so I don't destroy the battery lol.
Keep the options coming

They are out there. A quick eBay AU search (located near Melbourne):
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OnePlus-...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item3ce05c5e25
So there must be more out there!
free postage - I highly doubt that if I would ordered it (to Germany) but yeah - something like that. Now i just have to find a less geographically challenging solution.
But thanks for the suggestion.
cheers

EverDock
There is a company called EverDock that was on KickStarter, it features a DOCK where you can switch the plug from forward or reverse, plus you can either use it for Iphone, Ipad, Android Mini USB. There is also a dock they sell that allows two devices to be charged at one time. Here is a link

either way you can see you can use it for different products. I hope this helps. I have the single one.

Any docks made specifically for OPO?
That would be awesome. Been looking for that.
An ideal one would be made out of bamboo, and with bamboo back cover...
I really dunno if this works, but I found a suggestion in another forum: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/ there I was told this works with the OPO, too.

That one breaks really easily. I've gone through 2 already (removing the phone from the dock eventually breaks the pegs that holds the cable in place).
I ordered this one and like it so far: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009L6AHLQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Can you tell me what exactly breaks on this docking station? which pegs? why at the cable? the cable is on the backside, how does something break there when the phone is being removed?
BTW, stations for the HTC One M8 should be compatible I was told. Has anyone experiences with this?
could this be an alternative?
http://www.amazon.de/Emartbuy®-Funktion-kompatibel-Docking-Ladegerät/dp/B00KC0X98I
or such a universal usb docking station - as long as the usb plug has the right direction?
like http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00JFLV3KG/ref=nosim/andrhilfdeand-21 or http://www.ebay.de/itm/Universal-Do...e-Nexus-5-HTC-Desire-S-Desire-Z-/400802464581
Or is there more to watch out like angle of the plug or the distance to the backside?

it looks like the one from above: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/
but I am not sure: where does the phone have íts secure stand? Is the phone held by the usb connector only? My last shown examples above have a higher back, which can hold the phone very secure and protect the usb connector against the pressure when using the phone in the dock.
Check out the Lambda-Dock. The connector can be turned and its produced in germany...

I am reviewing the following device in return for the usage and review of the said item here in XDA. I am not employed or affiliated with them, they were kind enough to seek my opinion on this product.
While not an accessory specific to Nexus 6, I figured I'd add this here because the N6 does have Quick Charging and wanted to let people know my experience with the item.
And honestly, I was looking for one of these desktop chargers for home. I previously bought one when I go on trips to power my various devices, but was looking to upgrade due to me and my wife's phone now equipped with Quick Charge 2.0.
Upon receiving it, The packaging was really nice. Minimal and not too much. Just enough to protect the contents and not hard to unpack at all. Inside housed the desktop charger, the plug, instructions, and other literature as seen in the pics.
The look is a nice textured matte finish and you can grip it pretty well. It has a good weight to it so it won't fly off your desk if you push papers towards it. You can orient it any way you would like to use it, but my preference for this charger is flat with the print facing up. I found that this way, it won't flop over, even though it has some heft to it, you can accidentally knock it over.
There is a power LED when you plug it into the wall. Not bright, just a nice dim blue led to let you know it's on. IMO a nice touch. Next I plugged in both mine and my wife's phone. (Nexus 6 and HTC M8 respectively). And both charged up pretty quickly! I then tested out the remaining three ports (the non-quick charge ones) and all worked as it should. Also I have to note that all the USB ports were easy to plug in and remove with different usb cords.
So is there really any negatives here? Not that I can see. This is a great product for the price listed on Amazon (17 USD prior to shipping if not a prime member).
Maybe offer different colors? With different color LEDs? Just throwing some quick things off the top of my head. But otherwise it's a great product to use.
Would I recommend this? Yes! Because multiple devices that have Quick Charge, we needed this for the times we need to quickly charge up before heading out to of the house and not really worry about carrying external batteries.
Any questions feel free to ask! Pics below
